Went to get muffler looked at was told they didn’t have the part to come back the next day and the part would be there around 10. Dropped off car at 10:40 parts still were not there. Service person was going to check on them. Called at 1:45 as I was still in town to check on the status and the parts still weren’t there Shop closes at four and I needed my car. I let all staff know that it had to be done that day I could not wait to not have a car after finding another location. I called within 15 minutes and stated I’m taking my car. Don’t touch it and I was informed that they had already cut out the muffler and piping. I took my car as is with the parts down the street to the place I chose. They fixed it within 45 minutes and the total was $190 as it only needed a repair to the pipe I was quoted $1400 which still doesn’t add up to me 350 for the part 450 for another part and 300 for labor? I have nothing good to say about The store I would have hoped that a muffler shop would be able to do things timely, and have parts in supply. Once I received my invoice that was left in my car with the keys in it it was a zero balance, but there was a comment basically stating that I was aware that the parts weren’t gonna come and I was not guaranteed on time which is absolutely not what happened at all and there is no way one should remove apart without having another one on hand, especially when the customer stresses that they need their car by end of business. If the part didn’t come in, I would’ve picked up my car again. They left it in complete inability for me to do so as the car arrived drivable, and had to be driven without a muffler to another location if I could could give no star I would!

Excellent service. The guys were great. Ty hey fixed my breaks and explained to me that with new cars you have them checked every other oil change (I didn't know that) but I waited far too long. Thank you for your everything I'll be back in about three months.

I recently returned to Meineke Car Care Center in Norwich, CT to have them fix my engine cover. It was hanging down and dragging on the road. To my surprise they fixed it free of charge! This was my second visit to Meineke and once again everyone was professional and friendly. It's nice to see that good customer service still exists.

I was able to get in quick and they had European oil for my car. The technician caught a snag and reported that my oil drain plug (bolt-head) snapped during my last oil change .They had to get it out carefully and were able to do so. Even with the setback, Ryan did an excellent job of calling for the part and getting it within 15 minutes, which was super impressive- and they didn’t even charge me extra! I have to tip my hat and say thank you to these guys, they did a great job for me and fixed a situation that could’ve been a lot worse!

Been prepared, the up-sell game is incredibly strong- particularly so if you're a female, or so it seemed in my case. Nothing special about the appearance or location of the shop, but the staff were plenty pleasant enough and waiting on an oil change was quick enough which was the entire point of the visit. Can't say I'll be returning, though.

Ryan took care of my car a week back, his customer service was a 10/10. I had a coolant leak and Ryan took the time to explain to me exactly what was happening, why it was happening, and what to look out for in the future! I had my front brakes serviced twice in the last year and I told 2 other shops I think one of my calipers was frozen engaging the brakes and burning the pads down prematurely. They cleaned the calipers replaced the pads and just a few months later I needed another brake job. The folks at Meineke spotted a bent caliper and brought me in the garage to show me. So I had it replaced and the brakes are smoother than ever before. No more wobble when I brake hard , no more squeaking while cruising down the road.

Went to get my oil changed and the technician immediately noticed a whining noise that he diagnosed as a bad idler pulley. I didn’t understand what that meant, so he actually took me back to my car to show me exactly what it was and explained it in laymen’s terms. The gentlemen working there were very honest about pricing and how much time I could wait before fixing the problem. Everyone there was very friendly and respectful. They gave me a coupon for my oil change and a free ice scraper 😁 highly recommend, I will be back!
