I called over 2 months ago to get my car repaired from damages… the lady I spoke to on the phone set me appointment to bring in my car for repairs on a certain date … we even spoke to my insurance and had them cancel a check for another company and make the check for Metry Body and paint … the day my car was scheduled to go in they tell me I never spoke to anyone and I’m not in the system after being on the phone with them for 30 minutes … and to make the day worse whoever I was speaking to on the phone was very disrespectful and had a attitude for no apparent reason … thanks for wasting my time

The sign said they closed for 5pm M-F I showed up at 4:30pm on a FRIDAY the door was locked nobody answered the door. Even though they had two cars in front the building. So I just figured they wasn't really about business so I left. Maybe they was busy or something. My money spend everywhere.

Literally the most unprofessional business I have ever dealt with. This is a husband and wife run business that doesn't have any staff available to work the front desk area. They curse out their customers and blame the clients/insurance agents for their own lack of communication and lack of understanding/reviewing what the scope of their work is. They change their hours based on their own personal convenience and get mad when you say that they weren't open the hours they had listed. Insist you should call ahead, but never answer and have a full voice mailbox. Truly, they don't know how to treat the people that pay them. Would go anywhere else before them

Metry Body and Paint won't fix a dented fender and repaint it if the vehicle is 10 years or older! Yes, I could not believe what I had been told. (It's Metry not Metairie, although they are located in Metairie, LA. 70006) suburb of New Orleans, LA. They must have so much work that they will only work on vehicles 10 years old or less, is what I was told today Aug.7, 2023 when I called Metry Body and Paint. I have a dented front fender but they said my 2009 Toyota was TOO OLD for them to work on! It only has 59,000 miles runs great but it's too old? I was only looking for a shop close by to hammer-out the dent, +Bondo and paint (White) the fender. I was told that the parts are to hard to find after a car is ten years old. I told them I did not need or want any engine or mechanical work, only a dented fender repaired and repainted. I was told "Sorry, but we choose not to work on any vehicle ten years or older"! Well OK I got the message, clearly, so will others because of this message!

I had a great experience here. They were very professional and understanding. I did not have to deal with any insurance issues because anything that was needed with insurance, they took care of. Someone hit me and their insurance paid for my damage, but I had no problems with anything. The work was excellent. It looked brand new when I picked up my car. I will always use this body shop for any repairs that I need. Thanks guys!! Keep up the great work!!!

I brought my van here to replace the rear door that had been dented in a parking lot. They were very helpful and worked seamlessly with my insurance company. They also repaired an additional dent that I hadn't even mentioned. In addition, I was scheduled to pick up my car the Friday before Ida hit. I was running around preparing for the storm and missed several calls from them. Needless to say I arrived after they all had left so the staff could do their own storm prep. The owner came back within 5 minutes to retrieve my van for me. So thankful!

Had an excellent experience. Was able to text photos of the damage and they accepted the job. They worked with my insurance so all I had to do is drop off the key and pick it up when it was ready. I expected with the holidays that it would be after Christmas before my vehicle was ready but to my surprise they had it done within the business week and I picked up several days before Christmas. The work was excellent. As far as the staff, I felt super welcomed. By the end of our initial conversation it felt like I was talking to a friend. They also have a cute office dog to boot! 😍

This group does not answer the phone nor did they do a quality repair on my wife’s car. They argued over whether the bumper was balanced when it clearly was crooked. We’ve called and called for days and we give up. Instead of saving money and being able to go to a place that should want to do proper work. We will have to pull out our credit card and spend money we shouldn’t have to elsewhere. Ring ring ring ring ring call back later. No thanks. There is a nice guy that works there so I’ll give them a couple stars

Family owned and operated. They were so easy to work with and very understanding of my connection with my late Father’s truck. They allow text communication and are great with keeping you aware of the process. I’m very grateful to have found them to take care of my repairs and should I need any body work in New Orleans, they will be my first call.
