I have been a customer of Midas Hagerstown (Dual Hwy), they are very pleasant people and make you feel comfortable, but in my opinion their prices are outrageous. Case in point, I took my car for air conditioner repair, and after spending almost a whole day at the shop, they "fixed" pay the bill and I drove away, few minutes later the A/C stopped working, I took my car back and they said it had a leak, then they gave me a new diagnostic, and the estimate cost was over $1,200 and I didn't agree to it. My latest visit was to fix a broken muffler, and the charge was over $250 and it was a good job. During that visit, I asked them to repair the passenger window because it was not working, the work to repair exceeded $400 and they could not fixed because they claimed that some issues with the wiring. I end up paying over $500 and my window still does not work. PLEASE THINK TWICE BEFORE USING MIDAS, behind a cordial and friendly faces outrageous charges linger.

Great place for auto repairs! Friendly knowledgeable but above all an honest staff. They replaced the entire exhaust system on my Jeep Liberty & repaired a power steering leak. At first they told me it also had a head gasket leak but they called me to say it wasnt leaking just had a good amount of oil spilled over it from previous oil changes not done there. They could have just fixed it anyway but they were honest about it & it was less expense for me. They thoroughly explained all repairs & costs. Great job great price! I’d recommend them for any of your auto repairs not just exhaust.

Tee was up front and super friendly and knowledgeable. I went in for an oil change and of course walked out with a list of other things that were needed, but what else is new lol he didn't try to pressure me into any services, but made me aware of things that needed done and why. I'm a female so I asked a lot of questions that he was able to answer. They do offer payment options which is nice. The waiting area was also spacious and clean. I will be a returning customer.

We were broken down 250 miles from home and needed to find a shop fast. Found the Hagerstown Midas and they were the only ones who would give us an appointment that day. Received a phone call from Bryce to confirm the appointment and he was very reassuring. We got to the shop and Tee took extra special care of us in what was a difficult situation. I have to give a HUGE shout out to Tee and his mechanics. We traveled from Texas to Maryland for the week to visit my daughter. The check engine light came on during our first day visiting. We dropped off the RV at 9am. It was repaired by 12 noon. I can't thank them enough for the peace of mind we now have to make the 1400 mile trip back to Texas. Added bonus.... He knew we were desperate and charged us fairly. Thank you so much!!! UPDATE: Thanks to Tee and his crew we were able to complete our trip as originally planned. We are now back home in Texas safe and sound. Thank you again for your assistance!!!

Gave me a worst case scenario but he would call me before they did anything once they got the tires off to inspect the brakes. True to his word, he did and all went very smoothly. I've been bothered by rattling sound coming from the back of my SUV so I decided to pull in the Midas. Found out that I had a loose heat shield pan that was not needed those guys removed it and discarded it didn't charge me a penny. The best thing was they didn't try to find a problem so that they could charge me something. Tee Curtis looked out for me.
