My vehicle was involved in an accident and needed to be towed off the highway until we could get up to Des Moines from Fairfield to get it. Rich was kind enough to allow us to have it towed there, pulled it inside overnight to allow the things in the bed of the truck to stay dry, and didn't charge us for parking or for the estimate to fix it. He definitely helped make a stressful situation a little easier. Thanks, Rich!!

I took my van in to have the brakes fixed and the oil changed. They went ahead and changed the oil as agreed upon, however when they went to look at my brakes, they took all my brakes apart to diagnose the problem. They told me that my caliper line was pinched which turned out to be untrue. It did need new pads and rotors. I had my mechanic, who works at the Drake Garage, whom I highly recommend, fix them. What they did do was bleed out the front and back brakes prior to doing the job.. When they phoned me with the estimate, I told them no way. It was way over priced, $1340. I told them that I would come in to pick up the van. There was about 5 seconds of silence on the phone. Hope, the manager on duty, advised me to get my brakes fixed as soon as possible. Of course I know this. When I took my van in, the brakes were grinding, but just a little bit. The van was totally drivable. When I went to pick it up, the brake pedal went to the floor. They bled out my brakes entirely. I had to get it towed to my mechanic. I will never go there again. A tow cost $175 now. That was an out-of-pocket expense that could have been avoided. They should not have bled out my brakes like they did without confirming from me to work on my vehicle. I advise anyone to find another place to have their vehicle worked on. I had mechanical worked on their previously and I was satisfied, but I'm not paying for a brake job that cost more than a valve job on my engine. No way.

We broke down on a Saturday afternoon and were expecting the worst, but this team completely restored our faith in customer service. They worked us in immediately, diagnosed the problem quickly, and even stayed over an hour past closing doing everything they could to get us back on the road. Unfortunately the parts stores were already closed, so we couldn’t get the part needed — but that didn’t stop them from going above and beyond. Marcus and Jake literally split my family between their two vehicles and drove us back to Newton. That level of kindness, professionalism, and courtesy is rare these days. We were incredibly impressed by the entire team’s dedication and care. First thing Monday morning, as soon as the part came in, they fixed us up immediately and got us back on the road. Huge thank you to Marcus and the team — truly outstanding professionals. Highly recommend

Even before then, when I was worried about the price, Marcus was ready to do what he could to help me out. As a college kid away from home, this level of caring was very meaningful.

If I could give you zero stars, I would. The fact that you guys lied again is so unbelievable. Your technician assured me that my brakes would last for at least two years while we were driving together. Furthermore, the technician should have noticed worn rotors, a damaged ball joint, and a sway bar while operating my vehicle. But you had taken off all four wheels on my car, so why didn't you see that the front rotors were worn, the ball joint was damaged, and there was a bad sway bar? The brake pads grab the rotor, don't they? So why would my brakes last for almost two years? Additionally, my shock absorbers are in good shape. Taking down my post will only make your dishonesty more obvious. My vehicle is being fixed properly at a honest shop as I speak.
