Title: Improper Starter Repair Caused Transmission Damage and Dishonest Service Rating: 1/5 Stars Review: I had my car towed to this Midas location to get the starter replaced. The car was running perfectly fine, with the exception of the starter issue. They confirmed the starter was the problem and began the work. When my husband and I went to pick up the car, the two people at the front desk told us that to get to the starter, their technician had to go from under the car and slightly drop the transmission. As soon as I drove away, I immediately noticed the car was vibrating badly and the gears were not shifting correctly. It felt like the transmission was struggling to find the right gear. When I asked if they had road-tested the car, the Midas employee said no. I immediately called them to report the new issues. They took no accountability for the transmission problems, and their attitude was unhelpful and dismissive. They refused to fix what was clearly caused by their improper repair method. To make matters worse, my son is dealing with medical issues, and because of the state of our car, I am now unable to take him to his doctor's appointments. This situation has caused immense stress and put my family's well-being at risk. We have since spoken to other mechanics, including a BMW technician, and they all confirmed that the starter should have been accessed from the top of the engine, not by dropping the transmission. This unprofessional and damaging method is what caused the new problems with my car. I am incredibly disappointed with this Midas location. They used a faulty repair method, damaged my car, and refused to take any responsibility. I would strongly advise against using their services.This was an incredibly frustrating and disappointing experience. Midas damaged my car, refused to fix their mistake, and their corporate office has failed to respond. I strongly advise against using their services.

Best shop I've ever been to. The whole staff is amazing. Very friendly, very kind, very honest. I have been coming here for years and will never go anywhere else. I highly recommend this particular Midas to anyone who needs work done. The whole staff is astonishing with their work and customer service, big kudos towards Micah and Christian for always making sure to inspect and inform me of what my car needs and working with me to make sure I am leaving with a safe vehicle.

I will not be going else anywhere but here for all my vehicle needs! Staff is incredible! Went in with a “death wobble” on my jeep left and was like a new jeep! They diagnosed it first shot and the tech took his time to make it perfect! Kelly was incredible to talk to while I waited time went by very quickly and made me feel like I was family. Highly recommended hands down service… side note… coffee maker stopped after the first pot of coffee and without asking the other front counter gentleman went out of his way and money out of his own pocket to bring me a cup back 😂

not a single bad thing I can say about this shop. I’ve been coming here for years, and my mother has been going there for over a decade. Micah and Christian are some of the nicest people I’ve ever met and they take great care of us every time we come in. It seems like they genuinely care and they remember little details like football teams that I like which is a small gesture, but a big difference maker. mechanic shops these days, get a bad reputation, but I can confidently say these are the most honest and selfless professionals in the business. I would highly recommend to anyone needing anything from an inspection, to an oil change, to major part replacements. They will take care of you through and through.

Took my car for transmission service(drain and fill) and to install new tires and TPM sensors which I purchased online. First, they installed the TPM sensors but apparently couldn’t do a relearn saying that those might not be the correct sensors for my car. I took my car across the street at discount tire and they programmed it in a minute. Second, I’m not sure if they are knowledgeable enough to do a proper transmission drain and fill, as they overfilled my transmission and car started shifting unusually harsh. Third, they did not install back the fender plastic liner which covers the transmission fill plug. When I went to ask about the liner, I was told they don’t know anything about it. I won’t go back there, but still gave them 2 starts because I know some of the technicians are correct and do a good job.

I had left a previous review and I need to edit it based on this recent experience… I have also read some complaints on Nextdoor about oil leaking after oil changes too, so this is a tad concerning. But I literally took my car in at 5 pm on Monday… yesterday I noticed a big spot on my drive way but we didn’t really look. Today we noticed when we backed the car in there were more spots… oil definitely was leaking. Took it up and they forgot to put the gasket back in… now we have 3 oil stains we need to clean up. I will say I’m giving this 2 stars because I like dealing with Micah and he’s great (when you can get him). But Christian and some of these new techs in the bays are getting sloppy. Christian tries to gaslight on prices and fixes I feel like. Micah has always been pretty straight forward.
