I have been a regular client of this midas for the last 5 years. Unfortunately, lately for the last 2 years I have noticed that I am paying more often for maintenence than usual. Recently I was quoted for multiple repair system (brakes, suspension etc) for $4500. I took it to a car brand service center and got everything fixed for $500. I was told, that service center techs wont do any changes if they dont deem anything absolutely required. Most surprisingly, for the recent oil change, they put a sticker for next oil servicing just after about 800 miles. Its ridiculous. Unfortunately, I feel this a breach of trust with this MIDAS.

I've been loyal to this Midas in particular for years. They're efficient, affordable, and thorough! I really appreciate that they check over the whole car and let you know about things that might need service soon, it helps me keep on top of it rather than having surprise car emergencies.

I really appreciate the service I was given this past Friday, they found some missing bolts in my drive shaft which I had been driving my car for 5 months since I had my engine replaced by the dealership and obviously they left out fine bolts. They showed me and told me I should contact the last place to touch your car which was Kia of Canton. I was extremely emotional and angry and they listen to me and help me get the information about my engine repair since Kia said they didn’t have to remove bolts from drive shaft to do my engine which was a lie.. I will continue to go to Midas for my oil change, it’s hard to find good honest mechanic these days.

My car broke down on the highway and I needed it done the same day and it came recommended as such from the tow truck driver. The mechanics were quick to diagnose and fix despite closing in a couple hours and they did a great job! I'd definitely recommend this place for fast quality work with fair pricing!

I've been a long time customer of this Midas. I hadn't been there in awhile because my old car was on it's last leg so I sought out cheaper mechanics to get by. I recently returned after buying a used vehicle. I respected the work they do. I went in for tires but it was a pretty rough experience. The Brakes - While changing the tires, one of the guys there reported that my caliper was seized and that my brake pads were worn. So they wanted to charge me around $2000 for Brake Pads, Rotors, and Calipers. I found this odd because I asked about the brakes specifically during my Pre Purchase Inspection from a different mechanic who said that my brakes were great. After getting my tires changed, I drove the car immediately to a nearby Belle Tire for another brake inspection. They told me that my brakes looked great and still had 80% life on them. So two mechanics against one. The Lug Nuts - I noticed while driving my car between Midas and Belle Tire that the car seemed different on the road. I thought it was new tire weirdness. However, Belle Tire noticed that I was missing two lug nuts on a front tire. So I paid them like $20 to replace. That seemed to improve things. I never confronted Midas about the lug nuts, because it was $20 and I was already upset about the brakes. The Sensors - On my next long drive, my car started throwing errors in the Tire Monitoring System. I returned to Midas and asked them to review the sensors as these errors happened shortly after getting the new tires. They found that 3 out of 4 sensors were no longer responding (likely due to dead batteries). They wanted another $300 for new sensors. I find it hard to believe that the batteries in 3 out of 4 sensors just happened to die right after getting new tires (Although, I do have to give them some benefit of the doubt. This was a new used vehicle that I didn't fully understand yet) I didn't pay for the sensors. I was just tired at this point and tire sensors were the least of my concern. Anyways, I gave this review 3 stars instead of 1 because of my history with this business. This tire job was very much the exception. I got the tires on my old car here. They were good to me in the past and I had a lot of trust in them up to this point. If the brakes show symptoms in the next year, I will edit this review and add a star for being the only ones to see a problem. I don't know who worked on my tires that day (maybe they were new? inexperienced? rushed?). I guess the moral of my story is, always count your lug nuts and always get multiple opinions when a mechanic wants to charge for an issue that isn't showing symptoms.

I drove an hour to have my vehicle looked at. Didn’t realize how expensive maintaining a car was, and the price did shock me. Not their fault, it was mine. Brian, Matt, and Jeff were great. Jeff drove over 40 minutes to pick up a part I needed to save me money. I’ll be sticking with this Midas from now on.

Horrible experience. Blew a tire a long way from home and they took advantage of it. Told me the tires I have are no longer made and I had to pay 500 or one tire that won’t even be the same or buy all 4 new. Got back home and bought a new tire that they claim is not made anymore with no problem. I would avoid this place at all cost!!

A great deal of critical work was needed on a handicapped accessible Caravan. It was handled timely, thoroughly, and at a reasonable price. The service included rides back and forth to home.

Midas on Washtneaw in Ann Arobor MI Is a THREAT To Your SAFETY & YOUR WALLETT. They are very Dishonest I took my car to Midas on 1/13/2026, Told them that I hear noises on Front Brakes, They Charged me $45 to inspect the Breaks, They gave me an estimate of $1,400, They said Master Cylinder must be Replaced and also Front breaks Rotos must be replaced. They put a lot or pressure on me to sign the contract and do the repairs, they said it takes 4 hours to complete the job. While I was waiting for my estimate, there was another customer, they gave her an estimate of $3,000 to Fix the Starter, She said she need to think about it, they put pressure on her also, They charged her $200 for Diagnostics, she left. I also decided to get second Opinion, Next Day I took my car to Bell Tire, They did break inspection for free, They told me there was Nothing Wrong with the Master Cylinder and Front Breaks. The Noise was coming from rear Breaks. The problem was with Faulty Installation of Rear Breaks which Allowed Air to get into breaks, they charged me $300 and finished the job in 30 minutes. The Breaks work great now. Midas Installed my Rear Breaks in Summer of 2025, they Charged me $2000, I took my car back twice telling them something is wrong with the break, I have to push too hard on the break and it takes a while for the car to come to a stop. They assured me everything is ok, I knew there was something wrong, I just gave up. In my prvious visits to This MIDAS, I spent aroud $6,000. I now regret not getting second Opinion. Listening to them talking yo other Customers, They never give estimates less than $1,300 and they use pressure tactics to intimdate the customers to sign the contract. Stay away MIDAS shops, All of them are Crooks.

First time going in at all. arrived to get my front brakes and rotors replaced. The did their free Diagnostic on everything. I honestly did not feel pressured into paying for any other services. however, they did a wonderful job of showing me a couple of issues that do need address at a later date. The service was also VERY quick. I needed to be at work within a a 2 hour time frame of bringing in my vehicle and I think it only took about 1hr 20mins or so. Where every other place I had called that morning was booked 1-2 weeks out, they took me in right then and there.

It was my first time there, and everyone was very kind. I got in quickly and the wait time was reasonable for the services I received. I usually have a go to place for my car service, but I do believe I’ll be returning here again. I’ve had treatment from other places who believe that women can’t do car business, lol. I appreciate all the gentlemen who worked on my car, along with their kindness and respect.

Lies while looking straight at you. Went in for an alignment for my truck. Figured I'd get an oil change while in there (usually go to Valvoline). They called saying alignment's useless unless I get the pitman arm and one of the outer tie rods replaced. Alright fair enough I'll just get the oil change. On pick up I check the oil. Looked clean-ish. I bend down and look at the filter (You can see it through the wheel well). Grimey, old, valvoline oil filter still covered in street salt. I walked back in and asked "You guys change the filter? " Desk guy turns to mechanic kid who says "Yeah". I say it's a valvoline. Kid say's "yeah we use valvoline here". Desk guy gets a "wha..." out and then goes quiet. Understood I just got a $76 lesson and walked out.

I had an appointment to check my brakes (cost me $60 for the inspection). They were quick and were very professional. But I feel they exaggerate the issues and overpriced. Like they told me my brakes were less then 1mm, but other places told me that they were more than 2mm. Still good service and they always try to get things done on the same day.

The service was top notch the only reason why I did not give five stars is because the technician that changed my oil got dirt all over my door inside and on my steering wheel. I have lighter leather seats and it shows dirt easily. I just ask next time please do not put dirty hands all over my door and steering wheel. Other than that I could not have asked for better service. They were able to get me in in sooner than my original appointment. The gentleman at the front desk was really nice and helpful. I loved that they did not push me getting a new air filter and all of the extras that every other oil change service or dealer has tried to do. I was offered free transportation to my work or home if it was needed. I will be going back and recommending Midas in Ann Arbor off of washtenaw ave again. Thank you so much.
