ALMOST KILLED MY FAMILY. They said they could replace the rear brakes for husband while he was in town. They had the car for 2 hours, then called back and said they got the wheels off but then couldn’t find the parts. They overtightened the wheel bolts and every single one of them sheared off- THE WHEEL FELL OFF THE CAR going 60mph on the freeway. **The wheel directly under my infant son*. Only by the grace of God did nobody get hurt. Called them to do the right thing and pay for repairs from the damage THEY CAUSED. They refused.

From the first phone call with David in parts, David was able to source the part in the USA when other dealers couldn’t…I would’ve had to wait for it to be shipped from Germany, 3 weeks! David was able to locate one domestically without much effort. He also gave me hope that I might not have to pay a full arm and leg for the work. Danni/Danny was a pleasure to chat with both over the phone and in person! She’s a rare asset, she makes your customers feel heard and takes the time to listen and provides a comfort level most other shops don’t care to offer. Shawn was sharp, focused and gave me confidence that my car would be taken care of. He provided an easy way to communicate directly with him, via text. Super convenient and he’s always responsive. When I picked up my car, Shawn explained what was done, what they observed and what my next steps would be. It wasn’t just a transaction. This one was a bit annoying. I had scheduled to do the typically twice a year summer/winter tire switch. When I came in for my ioriginal appointment it turned out I needed a lot more schedule maintenance work done (spark plugs, filters, oil, etc). That took more time than was scheduled so I had to reschedule. Given this is all in the system, it should have indicated that when I originally scheduled and saved me the grief of having to reschedule. The next available appointment with a loaner was two weeks later. Dusty mentioned that I should call Carol to ask if she could schedule me sooner. I called Carol three times and left messages, once with Dani at the front desk. I never got a call back. No big deal that I had to wait on the appointment, however it would be nice if I got a call back to explain that there weren’t any appointments available sooner. The appointment went fine and Shawn and Dusty were great, as usual. The maintenance was done well - no issues. I’ll keep coming back to BMW - we own two and have bought 6 from your shop. I’m ok with paying more at the dealership however I expect great service for the price.

Normally, I work on my car myself. However, sometimes even a simple job can become unexpectedly complicated and require urgent help. BMW of Ann Arbor is only about 3–5 minutes from my home, so we’re practically neighbors. When I was adjusting aftermarket exhaust tips, one of the exhaust clamp bolts snapped due to rust. I tried to remove the broken bolt myself, but it didn’t go well. Neal, a service advisor I’ve worked with many times over the years, quickly helped me set up an appointment and arranged for a technician to measure the clamp diameter accurately. Since the exhaust required a non-BMW OEM clamp, the technician did a great job sourcing the correct part and reinstalling the exhaust tips properly. The cost was very reasonable and a great value. After the service, they also performed an inspection and provided helpful advice about the condition of my car. It’s great to have a trustworthy shop so close to my home, and I’m thankful for the consistent support over the years.
