I was so impressed with how Michael Thiede was able to help me navigate two days of completely different service needs. Not only did he clearly and patiently answer all my inquires he actually educated me on some vehicle issues coming up which I appreciated greatly. He made sure my vehicle was ready when promised for my travel needs. He went out of his way to help me smoothly move through the services. Amber Farley is the absolute BEST! My parter and I came in to lease a car and not only was she super helpful, but she took the time to help us with all of our questions. Amber did not rush us at all. We went in somewhat knowing what car we were looking for but she provided us with other options, financial assistance, as well as going into detail of care plans that were not aware of. We were so grateful for this! I had never been to Honda before but my partner was a returning client and I understand why. I recently purchased a certified 2024 Honda Accord from Germain Honda in Ann Arbor. What I had expected to be a very unpleasant experience, turned out to be just the opposite. My salesperson, Cameron Thompson, was very professional. He carefully pointed out many of the car’s functions before I took it on a test drive. At no time did he try to use any high pressure sales tactics that I had encountered at other dealerships. When we agreed on a fair purchase price, we then came to the part of the transaction that I was dreading the most. What was my 2013 Honda Crosstour worth? The used car sales manager, Chris Pineau, was called in to do an evaluation. It turned out Chris remembered my Crosstour from when I had purchased it ten years earlier. It only took him about five minutes to decide that the car was worth the most listed in the Kelley Blue Book. That sealed the deal. I highly recommend buying your next car at Germain Honda. We recently bought a new car from Germain Honda of Ann Arbor. Cameron Thompson, the salesperson who helped us, made the experience, which sometimes can be very frustrating, a very pleasant and easy one. He explained everything about the cars that we were looking at. He was very patient with our questions. We found him to be very honest and upfront. He treated us with respect and went out of his way to do little things like print out our insurance card and get us water when we were there for a long time. If we ever buy a car again, we will definitely go to Germain Honda and buy it. Hopefully Cameron Thompson will be there to help us!

I had my 2007 standard-transmission Honda Civic serviced at Germain Honda of Ann Arbor in early March 2026. Their team member Kaiya Wolff handled everything for me, and she was excellent: technically savvy, friendly, listened to my explanation of the issue that needed addressing, and knew right away what needed to be done. She also expedited the process so that I had the car back the very next day. Her prompt communication by phone and text messaging kept me up to date on cost and completion time. I can fully recommend Ms. Wolff and the entire Germain Honda of Ann Arbor team.

I purchased a new 2026 Honda Pilot from another Honda dealership because the 2026 models were not yet available at this location, and the selling dealer is far from my home. I therefore scheduled service at this local Honda dealer for convenience — which should be normal since factory warranty service can be performed at any authorized Honda dealership. The vehicle is only 1 week old and drives straight, however the steering wheel is noticeably off-center (I must hold the steering wheel slightly clockwise to keep the vehicle straight). This is a clear new-vehicle alignment/adjustment concern. Initially the service team indicated they would take care of it, but once they realized the vehicle was not purchased from their store, the response changed. I was told: • I must return to the original selling dealer within 30 days • Alignment is a wear item • I might have hit a pothole • I would need to pay a $160 inspection fee before they would even look at the vehicle This was concerning because Honda’s New Vehicle Limited Warranty allows warranty repairs at any authorized Honda dealer and does not require returning to the selling dealership. I was not requesting a maintenance alignment — only a warranty inspection for a brand-new vehicle steering concern. No inspection was performed and yet the concern was pre-classified as customer-pay. I expected a local authorized Honda service center to support a new Honda owner regardless of purchase location. Instead, I felt discouraged from using this dealership solely because the vehicle was bought elsewhere. I hope management reviews this process so future customers receive accurate information about Honda warranty coverage and consistent service experience and have honesty. UPDATE: The alignment was completed by other dealer under warranty without any issue or questions, and service was very smooth.

I was fortunate enough to get Chris O’Lear in the service department to help me when my vehicle had trouble starting and a code appeared on the screen. Chris could tell that I was worried since I had many doctors appointments to go to, and that was the only vehicle I had. Having just moved I really did not have anyone who could help me with transportation. Chris was able to secure a loaner vehicle and he was very kind and helpful in educating me on the new vehicle. I would recommend everyone to buy their vehicles and get them serviced at Germain Honda because this dealership is dedicated to having employees like Chris O’Lear.

This place was easily my most favorable experience I've ever had at a dealership. No pressure, very relaxing environment, and the employees legitimately enjoy working there. My sales person, Amber, was nothing like the stereotypical car salesperson, she did her very best to answer any questions I had, and reached out immediately on questions she wasn't able to answer herself. She was more focused on helping me find a car that would make me happy than on just making a sale or upselling. I didn't have much luck with negotiating price, but that's just how it is with buying certified pre-owned. This is probably the only dealership I would ever go out of my way to recommend.

I just wanted to give a huge shout out to Jacob (Jake) Hamka who made leasing my first car ever an incredibly positive experience, as well as the best financial decision I’ve made in a long time! Jake is a gem— not only because he’s so knowledgeable and understands customers’ needs, but because he does so as a very trusted friend who you yourself would bring along to get advice about which car to go for. After talking me through the entire leasing process and answering my long list of questions, including how to secure auto insurance, I saw a beautiful Honda CR-V Hybrid AWD TrailSport in the showroom, in a color I loved, and asked Jake if there was any possibility I could lease that very one. He said absolutely yes! And in doing so, he saved me a considerable amount of time as the exterior ceramic coating, glass sealing and interior prep had already been done. Jake also let me test drive the same model vehicle in the lot and explained every single bell and whistle in the car, including the “B” gear which I hadn’t heard of before. Jake literally helped me become a confident first-time car lessee in a couple hours! It’s been several months now driving this vehicle and I couldn’t be happier. Jake knew that one of my biggest priorities was to get a safe car that I could confidently drive through snow and ice with, and given this very snowy winter so far, the Honda CR-V Hybrid AWD TrailSport, with its snow driving mode and excellent tires, has been the perfect vehicle to get to/from the office and most importantly, to take my parents safely to various medical appointments. I feel extremely safe driving this car in even the most difficult road conditions and am so very grateful for Jake for all of his help in helping me decide on this vehicle, as well as Sales Manager Corey Klotz who helped me secure the best possible financing plan. Thank you very much gentlemen!! I enthusiastically recommend Germain Honda of Ann Arbor and hope you seek out Jake who made leasing a car a wise, easy and very enjoyable experience!
