Take your business to another Mazda dealership when it comes to parts and service. Called to ask if they would order a hitch and harness for my 2023 CX-9. They ordered it and it arrived the next day to their dealership. The installation appointment was two weeks out as that is what was available. On the day of the appointment, I drop off my vehicle and within 2 hours they call me. They ordered the trailer hitch for the WRONG vehicle. I needed the hitch for a trip I was leaving for the next day, which is why the appointment was the day it was. They had the parts for about two weeks and clearly never checked or confirmed they had the correct parts for the appointment. A complete waste of time, and will not return due to their lack of attention to detail and failing to ensure they have all the proper parts for a service appointment, when they had plenty of time to review and confirm.

Terrible customer service in trying to inquiry on a vehicle. Their online department is straight trash to deal with and provided no value. I would no consider the Mazda dealership for any purchases. Edit for response: I had only unsubscribed after multiple failed attempts to receive information and have a sales rep follow up. Do not twist this as your staff did nothing wrong and provided some outstanding customer service….quite the opposite!

Sesi Mazda of Ann Arbor is nothing less than a top notch automotive dealer. Dan T was very helpful throughout the process of acquiring a new Mazda CX-5 CE. During these times when finding a new car could be difficult; Dan made it easy. We started talking about new cars to choose from in early September 2022 and I took delivery of this beautiful CX-5 today, Sept 30. Such a nice car at such a great price. The customer service and staff along with the owner are all super awesome. So friendly, knowledgeable and helpful in my time of need after having lost my fairly new Honda. Sesi and Dan are the best! Update July 2023 - the service department is great at Sesi! Courteous, knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. --- Another great experience today at Sesi with their service manager Doug and his experienced service team. What a great place to have your vehicle serviced as they make every customer feel like a VIP and treat your vehicle like their own. We had a sudden flat tire and the Sesi service department was able to assess the flat tire immediately, determine that it did not require a replacement. Back on the road within an hour and a half, with a patched tire, and a bill of $26.33... super satisfied with the extremely professional support!

This is the worst dealership I have ever been in the United States! I had a very frustrating and unprofessional experience at this location. First, I purchased a Mazda maintenance package in California, and I have used this same package in other states without any issues. However, this dealership claimed that my package could not be used here, and they failed to provide a clear or consistent explanation. This directly contradicts my prior experiences and felt either incompetent or intentionally misleading. Second, I was explicitly promised a loaner car when I scheduled the service. Upon arrival, I was told no loaner was available. Instead, I was offered a shuttle service, but only after waiting because the driver was “out and not back yet.” I waited over an hour, and when I went outside to ask, I was told the driver had returned and then left again. I was repeatedly asked to just keep waiting until my alignment was finished. This showed extremely poor communication and a complete disregard for the customer’s time. Additionally, my interaction with the service advisor was deeply uncomfortable. Almost every time I spoke, I was asked to “say it again,” despite speaking clearly and calmly. This happened repeatedly and felt unnecessary and dismissive. As a customer, this made me seriously question whether I was being treated differently, and it raised concerns about potentially discriminatory behavior. Regardless of intent, it was unprofessional and unacceptable. On top of all this, the inspection report aggressively flagged multiple unnecessary maintenance items (fuel injection/ethanol service and early spark plug replacement) as “Needs Immediate Attention,” even though my 2021 Mazda CX-30 has only ~52,000 miles, runs perfectly, and has no warning lights or issues. These services are not required by Mazda at this mileage and are well-known upsells. This makes the inspection feel profit-driven rather than honest or customer-focused. I won’t recommend this place to anyone!

I am writing this specifically regarding the service department. I recently purchased a 2025 Mazda CX-50, and with less than 10,000 miles, the "Engine Malfunction" light came on. While the mechanical fix (an oxygen sensor) was eventually completed, the service experience at Sesi Mazda was remarkably poor. For almost a week, my vehicle was grounded due to this factory warranty defect. Despite the car being brand new, the dealership refused to authorize a rental reimbursement, leaving me to pay over $200 out-of-pocket for my own transportation. The completion date was pushed back multiple times, and communication was consistently dismissive. While they finally provided a loaner the day before the car was ready, I had already spent hundreds on a rental, yet they still refused to assist with any reimbursement for the days I was left stranded. The most concerning part happened after the car was returned. Because I contacted Mazda Corporate to seek help with these costs and provided honest feedback, I received a hostile phone call from service management. I was told that because I reached out to Corporate and provided a low rating, I should "take my vehicle somewhere else" for any future needs. I understand the weather was a factor in part delays, but flat-out refusing to assist with a rental for a brand-new car and then telling a customer to "go somewhere else" for utilizing official corporate channels is childish and unprofessional. It is shocking to be "fired" as a customer for seeking the warranty support. I love my CX-50, but I cannot recommend Sesi Mazda for service. If you expect professional conduct and support for a new vehicle, look elsewhere. Lastly, As another reviewer noted, Sesi Mazda does not honor the prepaid Mazda package for oil changes and other services. They tried to charge me when I went for the engine light issue and asked about it.
