Curt was who I dealt with to get brakes replaced and Lee was the mechanic. When I tell you two angels from heaven were dropped into this world and it was these two. They helped me understand what to look for on brake pads and rotors, they were patient, they worked a great price so my pockets weren’t empty 2 days before Christmas. This is the definition of good people. Thank you both so much for making this already frustrating situation, bearable. Merry Christmas and god bless you both.

NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!! I will list the issues I've got with these smart and honest people: 1. I've scheduled service online for a tire change on Thanksgiving day. Got a confirmation email. I called them a day before, told them I scheduled an appointment for tomorrow, and asked for the price. They answered: "yes, you can come, and it costs $80 for 4 tires". 2. At the assigned time my son arrived and they are closed. 3. I've rescheduled for the next day with the option "wait there". At the assigned time my son arrived and they told him that "wait here" may take up to 5 hours. So my wife had to pick him up. 4. Finally, he arrived to pick up the car, and it cost now $145, not $80.

Last week I came in for an oil change, the man who had helped me at the time (I sadly did not catch his name) Thankfully he was a very timely, and very nice gentleman. I expressed my importance to him in getting the car done in a timely manner for the next appt and he assured me absolutely no more than two hours-and I do believe he really meant that. However-when I came back for a follow up service the next week, the gentleman who had helped me last time was not there, and a man by the name of "Curtis" or “Kurtis” called me maybe a half hour later after I have already left and dropped off the car at 9:55am, and yet he was aware this whole time the part hasn’t come and he could have asked if I wanted to re-schedule. Although if he wasn’t aware, then that is just as bad because, there were no other cars in the building besides mine, and yet they opened at nine.. An hour before I even got there. The part not coming on time was fine, that wasn’t the problem. I had other obligations that I had to do by a certain time and needed to get the car back to the owner before then. Had this day gone as scheduled or if I had been made aware sooner, I could have easily turned around and quickly grabbed the car. Seems to me they didn’t even start looking at it until 10:30. 35 minutes after dropping it off! To get to the point - I had said back to him over the phone - if he had told me he couldn't do the service today then yes, I'd be disappointed considering I just walked two miles back home, but no if you are saying you can still get it done today then that’s great. (As it should be, as it was scheduled for, as I was told and assured). Mind you there was no tone hiding behind my voice besides assertiveness. I mean we are dealing with my money here, correct? It's a significant amount of time taken out of my work day to walk over there. So when I got the phone call that the car was done I was less than an hour away for my scheduled testing hour. (Mandatory by-the-way). I basically had to run there and this Curtis guy has the audacity to make a snide remark about my time and its importance, right within earshot. I did not rush this man at ALL mind you, I was very patient and very understanding even though I knew it was going to affect my day. I don’t think I should be disrespected for having to wait longer for a service that was scheduled at 10am, reassured it would not take long for the *serpentine belt that wasn't finished until 3:30pm due to a late product. Really disappointing - Especially because I thought you guys were a reliable, very friendly service group. I made a really poor choice coming into Monro today and will not be returning. As a due diligence for paying full price, I will happily spread the word of my very disappointing encounter at Monro Auto service today, in Ypsilanti Michigan.

I came in for a brake check and ended up needing to replace the whole system and even though I did not have the money the guys there help me through it and we got it done. Now I know who to trust with my vehicle above all else. I will be going there for all future needs for my vehicles. Thank you Ken (service manager) for being so understanding of what I was going through and helping me to understand what needed to be done. Thank you Chris (district manager) for being so helpful with the affordability for the cost of the new brake and everything else that goes with it. Finally the guy who found the problem, and fixed my brakes so I do not have to fear for my life Phil. You guys were amazing with me and my car I appreciate your quality of service and will look forward to doing business with you in the future. I cannot Thank you enough.

These guys are phenomenal! I was able to bring my car same day and go home same day with everything fixed and running beautifully again. Not to mention they were nice enough to get me to work since I was worked so close and they could tell I was upset for having to miss work. I didn't know places took care of their customers like this anymore, but Im so glad I let these guys care for my car. Believe me when I say, I'll be back for sure

Went in for appt that was set over the phone. Walk in, the guy states he has bays done because of dead cars. Stated has a 3rd party company in the Philippines who sets the appts. Asked him if he would call them so other customers wouldn't suffer like me. He said I've sent them many emails over time. I asked....have you called them and said no. Long story short he won't call them because he thinks he will lose customers instead of notify the 3rd party when appt times are really available. Place needs a fave lift also. Looks like a dump and can tell there's no real care for.....anything. Waste of time.

Speedy is my go-to auto service. Roger always knows his stuff, gives the best customer service, and makes me feel at ease about my car. They truly are committed to making sure your issue is fixed and you are satisfied with their service. I can't say enough good things about this place. Their prices are economical and they get your car fixed as soon as humanly possible. They take good care of your car while your there, and I feel that the premises are safe and secure. Please call up Speedy and talk to Roger just once, and you'll know that you are in good hands.

I scheduled an online drop-off appointment for a cross-threaded lug nut repair and tire rotation. Dropped off on a Monday morning, the service was completed in 3 hours at a cost of $180, which was cheaper than the $300 the Subaru dealership quoted me. Friendly staff. Highly recommended.

My husband and I both take our vehicles to speedy anytime we need maintenance work done!! We have always been extremely happy with the price and the work that we have had done with Speedy! They are professional friendly and honest. We have referred family and friends to them as well and they had always come back and told us how pleased they were as well!

My appointment was great - it started on time and was quick and efficient. The staff was friendly and professional, as always. The waiting area was clean and comfortable. I was given a thorough report on my vehicle before leaving. It was an excellent experience.

Didn't keep appt. Didn't communicate that they were not going to keep appt. This place came highly recommended but I understand there is new management now. I went in and received an estimate on Tues May 25th. I received an estimate and we agreed that I would bring in my car on Thurs June 6th at 8 am. I dropped my car off at 8 am on the 6th as agreed. They accepted the keys. Now, at 3:30 I find out that they cannot work on my car today or tomorrow. At no point in time did they call or communicate this to me. If I can't trust you to keep an appointment how can I trust you to work on my car or honor your estimates?

The workers in this shop are not honest. They advertise oil change on Groupon, when you go there, they tell you that they used another type of oil, and cannot use the Groupon you purchased, although you showed it to them when you first walked in. Then they ask you to pay another $94.99 in addition to what you paid for Groupon. They argue that they have no idea what Groupon is selling, and that you bought the wrong Groupon. They tell you that your car cannot take “blended synthetic” which is what is in your Groupon, and they had to use “Full Synthetic” without checking with you. They are a scam, not honest people, beware

This center does excellent work at fair prices. It's very conveniently located on a main bus line, which I used after dropping off my car and then returning to pick it up after the work was completed. Employee Curt scheduled my appointment, checked me in and was very courteous and diligent about keeping me informed on the progress of my repair job, which was complicated.

Had a screw in my tire so called ahead to find out when would be a good time to bring it in and what the price would be. Was quoted $26.50 on the phone which seemed reasonable. Drove in 2 hours later and the desk told me it would be $40. When I mentioned I called earlier they said they didn't know why somebody would say the lower price.. Service took about 45 minutes which was longer than I hoped but not horrible. When I got my car back I checked the tire pressure and it was 40 psi.. door jam says 30psi- so they overfilled it by quite a lot. This shop is OK but their prices are high for the services offered. Update: found out 6 months later they cross threaded a lug on my car. Avoid this shop at all costs.

This Monro location on Washtenaw Ave has exceptional service. The front desk man is very professional and honest, not to mention super chill which makes communicating with him so easy and I never feel rushed. Willing to address all of my concerns in a dignified manner. A longtime mechanic there also let us drop in and free of charge took a look at a weird sound the car was making before we had ever used them for any services. He was so kind and unrushed answering our questions with his many years of experience. Waiting room is also clean.

Kurt is amazing!!!! I highly recommend this center for your auto needs!! I had an unexpected flat tire on my rental vehicle, and went here since it was the closest tire shop. Kurt was super quick in accommodating me, took care of all paperwork, rental center approvals and repair within the hour. He’s also super kind, friendly and helpful. I had a fantastic experience overall. Definitely check this place out for all your auto services and needs. 😊

Quality work with a quick turnaround (24 hours from making the appointment to picking up my car). I got honest vibes from the guy I talked to (Kurt). He walked me through several options available to fix the several years of neglect on my rear brakes, and gave me a fair price quote and explained all the charges before proceeding with the repair. No hidden nonsense. Very satisfied

I had a flat tire on Labor Day, and the call center over booked that morning, but they still got me in. I didn't qualify for any of the financing options but was still able to buy at least one tire with reasonable cost and the service was excellent. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Good conversations while waiting for the tire to be installed. Good experience and will highly recommend.

During a standard oil change, they didn’t properly put the guarding back on the car and the metal ended up scraping along as I drove. I would’ve liked to have posted a picture of the metal that had been sheared off, but Monro asked for it as a way to get me replacement, and lost it soon after. I’ve been trying to get it repaired and reimbursed but they keep finding ways to get out of it. They have a new manager every few months, so with each one I’ve had to re-explain everything from scratch. Below you’ll see they asked me to call. I called, and they’re still not really doing anything. They buried any evidence of any wrongdoing on their part to avoid being held accountable. Since they “lost” all documentation they had of the incident, they said they wouldn’t make up for the damages. Jonathon Ross, the store manager since 2021, has suddenly lost all documentation of my ever being at the store. Stacy Bacon, the District manager, has also said he’d be able to help but has been looking for every excuse to delay providing a refund. A few weeks ago he told me he’d update me about the refund, but has gone silent since.

The technicians quickly diagnosed my vehicle’s issues and were able to make the repair the same day. I was out of town and had the vehicle issues and they were able to schedule the diagnosis and repair on a busy Saturday. They communicated well the status of my vehicle.
