I love this team. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. So honest and caring. Update: it’s a year later and John is the BEST. I’ve lived in 6 different states and had numerous mechanics and John is by far the best. If you are in need of a mechanic and go anywhere else you are doing yourself a disservice. My car thanks me every time it goes to Mike’s.

I couldn't be happier with the quality of service and personal touch that John delivers. There are closer mechanics to my house but it's worth driving the extra distance. They give great explanations of what is happening mechanically and don't try to upsell. I trust them 100%.

I've been going to Mike's Auto Clinic since last year when they were on Whitney Ave. I stopped by unannounced for a nail stuck in my tire and they took care of me within minutes at an affordable price. Since that day, I never looked anywhere else for my car issues. During every visit, they displayed honesty, extensive mechanical knowledge, and thoughtfulness. As a mechanically illiterate 20-something year old woman, I feel incredibly lucky to have walked into the shop that one day. John, Jorge, and his cousin are a few fine folk.

Their actual hours are different, they open at 8am not 6. I showed up super early and the owner was there and really nice as he explained. Also, Google brought me here when I looked up emissions testing on Google, and found here turns out they only do emissions repairs. I'm leaving this review in the hopes anyone who did what I did reads this. Again, owner was very nice as he explained.

My daughter recently relocated to Connecticut and found herself in need of car repairs. Initially, she took the vehicle to the dealership, only to discover that they were more inclined to suggest purchasing a new car rather than addressing the repairs. Fortunately, I found this auto repair shop through a Google search, and we are incredibly relieved to have found such an honest and reliable mechanic. I came here based on a recommendation from a friend when the dealership couldn't get me in for over three weeks; I'm glad I did. The service here was quick and efficient and never once did I feel like I was being taken advantage of. The staff explained everything in detail and even broke it down so that I, a non mechanic, could understand. In addition to great work they advised on additional service without being pushy. I will be bringing my vehicle here from now on for all my automotive maintenance.

My partner and I have taken our car here several times and have had great experiences each time. First, they're open on Saturdays, which is already a huge plus. Additionally, I've always felt treated like a person and not just another source of profit there. They would go out of their way to provide us with helpful advice or to perform some extra checkups free of charge, and they've always given us a straight answer whenever we have questions. We can always rely on them for quick and honest service, and they will be my first choice whenever I have car issues.

Owner was very nice and gave honest and fair pricing for the repairs my car needed. He was very accommodating to the fact I wasn’t able to pick up my car the same day it was fixed and let me keep it there an extra two days due to my busy work schedule. Great team. Cool people. Took quick inventory of my car's issue and understood what needed to be done right away. Gave a date to bring the car in, when the day came, got the car in quickly. They did great work beyond standard by not only fixing the issue, but taking the initiative to solve another minor issue they noticed during the job free of charge. Again great guys who know their craft and pay attention to detail. Price was decent and reasonable. Highly recommend this auto mechanic shop!

My family and I have had a few cars repaired here and we have been extremely pleased. The quality of work is exceptional. Problem’s others couldn’t fix, were fixed at Mike’s auto. John also explained in detail what was going on with the cars, caused the problem and the procedure to fix it. we are also very pleasantly surprised by the pricing because John really works hard to get the best pricing as possible for the parts. After being let down by my previous mechanic, I was encouraged to bring my car to Mike’s about 3 years ago. I have taken my and my girlfriends car here for everything it has needed since then and couldn’t be happier. John is approachable, friendly, fair and talented- an uncommon set of skills for an auto mechanic. He has always explained what was needed and goes out of his way to make it affordable for you.
