Don't go here if you're a young female. They're sexist and condescending, didn't ask me my tire size but instead asked the male friend I came with even though it's my car, didn't give me a choice between the 30 40 or $50 dollar tire and then gave me a tire with a plug in it that I had to get changed a week later. They're fast and ordinarily their tires are pretty good, but after this I won't go back.

Edited 4/12/25 $20 to put a plug in a tire not even taken off the wheel what a ripoff these days. I've bought a couple sets of tires and had some mounts and dismounts done. Always friendly, professional and have a very large inventory.

I was in desperate need for new tires as one of mine was about to pop, Big Ross helped me out real good and was super friendly. Mike is very reasonable priced (I got each tire for $40, no labor charges) and SO FAST! 20 mins in and out and they was helping others at the same time! Friendly and honest people. Highly recommend over any other tire shop.

Great tire shop. I came in and my lug nuts were rounded over and stripped right out and seized on tight tight and they couldn’t get it off for a little bit. The owner came out personally and used some special sockets and got the job done. He knew how important it was for me to get my tire swapped out because the bands were showing and it was ready to blow out at any minute. He made sure I was taken care of. Even gave me a few new lug nuts on the house. Highly recommend. I’ll go back anytime I need tire work done now.

This place is awesome! The nice gentlemen ran into a problem while changing my tire let me know about it didn't send me on my way but fixed the issue and did it with not a care in the world and they didn't charge me for the extra work. All the gentleman helped out and got my tires back on track! I'm grateful for the young man who fixed the lug nuts for my tires. CHECK THIS PLACE OUT FOR IF YOUR IN NEED OF TIRES! I absolutely NEVER put out negative reviews. Only if it is a dangerous situation. At no point in this interaction, did this business order ask if my family was safe, apologize at all. This was my daughter that was driving it and was at risk. So, here we go... Mike's put tires on my daughter's car. 10 days later it's making horrible clunking noises. We have it towed to a mechanic. I'm thinking the engine. One of the tires was falling off the car. The mechanic was surprised it didn't fall off on the road. Wheel stud was missing. One of the tire rims is a spare. And now the alignment is off. I called to ask if they would evaluate it, stand by their work, or refund some of my money so I can take it to get fixed. Mike, the owner, literally talked over me the entire phone conversation about how it's not their fault, how he couldn't know if we loosened it after (why would I loosen it?!). Literally, non stop stream of talk where I can't even be heard. He finally broke his monologue and said, I don't know what you want from me? I said, I'd like you to honor your work, evaluate it, or agree to a partial refund so I can take it elsewhere. Then began his rambling again. I tried to end the conversation politely, saying, okay, thank you for your time. I will handle it and we can go to small claims. I ended up hanging up with him still non stop stream of talking about it but being their fault and how I could've done something. Don't. Go. Here.

This is my third time in the past 8 years getting service from mikes tire. Just a flats so needed tires whatever. I never have a problem. I will continue to go to mikes tire. I grow up in that part of town and I want to continue to support businesses in Saginaw. They were nice and very friendly and that’s all I can ask for. The only reason I didn’t give them a 5 star is I had a bit of a wait but for the price as a single mother not complaining 😊

The guys at Mike's went above and beyond to help me out! They didn't have my tires in stock. But not only did they fight to get it out and put my spare on for me, they called every shop they could think of in Saginaw to find me tires and they wouldn't accept a dime for their help. They are the best!

Just Lefts Mikes Tire… He beat all the prices I. The Saginaw area and was very friendly. Tye was my tire assistant and he made sure I was taken care of well and quickly while giving me tips to keep my tires working longer. Always able to make a deal and will return every time!

I had called a place in Clio that I know sells tires and they didn't have my size... but they referred me to a place in Saginaw. They told me they had a bunch but unfortunately their system wasn't updated. But the person working there was nice enough to call around and found out Mike's had my size! Most places don't carry my size of tire because they're standard for any standard GM model sedan from 04-09. Well they have plenty in my size and it was a flat price. When they told me if I was getting a tire, the stem was $20. I kind of looked at him and told him at a very popular tire chain it's like $3. They took the time to tell me that first it was because they are charging you $100+ per tire AND they explained to me how it works and how is not just this tiny stem is not just this little piece to fill air. I met the owner, Mike. He doesn't believe in not being honest with people. When I asked if I needed my rims cleaned, he actuality told me that because months earlier I had a strut mount go through my front tire so I had to get a brand new one where they fixed the strut. So he told me the best option would be to come in and get a tire with great tread still and have it installed opposite of the new tire to balance it out a bit. He also told me, I could come in and replace all tires so I'm good for winter and we'd put that newer one as a spare... which I realized I didn't have I don't have. So even if I take the first option, I might buy a spare too because that would've been nice to have with the leaky tire! I was on a very tight budget but had the money to get a great used tire and the stem... but when Jimmy (great guy who got right to work and was straight up with me, told me he used to work for that chain, and he educated me on why a stem costs more there, why is important but both he and Mike explained that sometimes the stem needs replaced instead of the tire). In the end, the guys were great, told me about what I would need in the short term and long term. Turns out, I was expecting to buy a tire... but there was a nail in it. Jimmy pulled out the nail and handed it to me, plugged the hole, and got me all set. I was having a horrible day and knew I was going to spend most of my money. So when it was a nail and saved me money... sure it might have been cheaper at the big chain store, but if it was worse than a nail, they say you can't leave because it's a safety issue and that's what I was scared of because it's how they make you get an expensive new tire. So while he fixed it, Mike gave me his opinion on what he'd do to even it out. But told me my other options. They are being honest, fast working, and they even they give you a price that's a flat price so you don't worry about adding tax. I will be telling everyone to go here even if they're looking for new tires because he has a huge selection and is particular about how much tread is on them. Thanks Mike, Jimmy, and Taco for putting up with my rambling, questions, and emotions after dealing with a terrible situation just an hour before!

You call to make sure they have the tire size, and how many you need. They claim they have it. Drive 30-40 mins to get there for them to tell you they only have 1, and try to talk you into a tire size not compatible with your vehicle. Isn’t that why you call ahead before you waste a trip? If it was a one-time deal, I could see that. But it’s happened several times. Do better and train your employees better. Lying won’t get your business anywhere

Had a tire go flat, and in this Michigan winter… you can’t have a bum car and get anywhere safety. Mike’s guys had me fixed up, literally within minutes, and back on the road before the Jeep cooled down. Exceptionally friendly, efficient, and most importantly - affordable.

Mike's Tire is a sham! They ignore the so called warranty on the tires! I got two tires done on 3/13/25. This morning my drivers front tire broke off ( 3/27/25) !! Dealership advised this is due to lug nuts not properly tighten down!! I called Mike's Tire and was hung up on with the argument of you shouldn't have drove it with loose lug nuts!! This isn't the first time they have caused an incident! Mike's Tire has on several occasions left customers with loose lug nuts! I now have had to pay a tow, now repairs because Mike's Tire and Custom Wheels incompetence!! NOT A DEAL WHEN THEY CAUSE YOU REPAIR DUE TO COMPLETE INCOMPETENCE!! To be hung up on because you can't keep to your word and your mistakes! NEVER AGAIN! I was pleasant and calm on the phone. No cussing or demeaning demeanor! You can see in the pictures my rim showing the damage due to loose lug nuts! I got very lucky coming around the curve at 40 miles an hour. I was able to get over to the third lane of traffic without a major incident! I believe that's due to the grace of God! This could have been a massive incident involving young children on their way to ABA therapy. Mike's Tire and Custom Wheel you should be very ashamed of yourself! Yes I have proof of the truth!!
