I had nothing but a great experience with them. They were very honest and helpful. I had some noise happening during shifts in my car and gave them the run down and asked them to check it out. Upon test driving it they did not notice any issues with the transmission but found a loose piece that was making the noise. They did not charge me for the small repair and they were super nice and honest. I will definitely be taking my car back here if any other issues come up.

AWESOME, CARING & TRUE CUSTOMER SERVICE! If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Had my car towed there after my normal mechanic suggested going to them for transmission issues. They were quick to diagnose and communicate the need for a new transmission but were willing to give me a few days to decide whether I wanted to proceed or just junk the car because of high mileage. After I decided to junk the car Mike even tried to find a buyer for me. Who in the car repair industry goes the extra mile and does that???? Mike was just the most thoughtful and professional person I have ever encountered in the car repair industry. Mike was great. Another mechanic recommended him as someone who would be able to get my transmission fixed and be honest and fair in pricing. We took my car in because the check engine light was on and it wouldn't shift out of 2nd gear and was making a thumping sound shifting from park to drive and then into park. The check engine code said it was an issue with solenoid b, which the mechanic who made the referral said could have been anything affecting the solenoid because engine codes can be nonspecific and that I was better off going to a transmission shop than him just replacing the solenoid. As it turns out, that was correct and the issue was a common problem with my model and year vehicle. Unfortunately, the third mechanic in this story who was the first person to look at it told me it was ok to drive from their shop elsewhere and a tech at an oil change place told me my transmission fluid wasn't low. Both of those things were incorrect, and the transmission ended up toast because the car shouldn't have been driven. Mike told me that it would need to be rebuilt but would be done with parts that obviously did not have the known issue, so we went with that. It took about a week, but it was also a busy week for vacations and there was a ton of bad weather, so I get it. So far, my car has been running great. I would definitely recommend them.

I called about my 2018 Nissan Altima transmission going into safety mode occasionally. Mike the manager answered and took time to listen to my problem and then give possible causes. He was extremely knowledgeable and offered to scan for codes the next day. When I arrived he had a technician scan and even print out the codes he found. This was one of my best experiences with a business that I have ever had. I cannot thank Mike enough for how he treated me and will always take my cars there for any transmission problems

As others have stated they do not lock the cars on their lots. When others see the multiple posts regarding this topic they may question why, and its because establishments and shady characters feel they can get away with whatever they want. I am Canadian and have traveled through this area a number of times in company and personal vehicles. I will not be using this facility any time soon.

They do not lock the cars on their lot, as we’ve learned the hard way even with asking the policies prior to leaving the vehicle there. Seeing as repair facilities/towing operations are required to take “reasonable precautions” to ensure the contents not locked or secured as well as the vehicle itself in their possession are not harmed or stolen in their care- you would think that (especially after being told as such) the vehicles would be locked as we were told. Or at the very least, cameras present with footage and the ability to review said footage. The shop is denying access to footage and personal items were stolen, whilst the tow guy was very unprofessional and sending photos of himself AFTER the tow was completed. Very unprofessional all around, do not recommend.

I took my 2015 Infiniti there because the transmission went out. After they looked at it, I was told that the valve body needed to be replaced and that it was 'a unique situation'. They have had problems working on Infinitis previously. I was told this would probably be an $8000-$9000 repair. I pushed for an official estimate only to receive a call back that the valve body was discontinued and there were no used valve bodies in the entire country. Told me the car was unrepairable. I had trouble believing this so I took it to a shop in Louisville that specializes in imports. They also said the valve body needed to be replaced. The valve bodies are not discontinued. They installed a brand new valve body and fixed my car for $3900. I do not know why instead of Mr. Transmission telling me they did not want to, or were incapable of repairing my car, they just told me I needed a new car. If I didn't seek a second opinion I would have been buying a new car. All they had to do was tell me they didn't have the ability to repair an Infiniti. I would have respected them for that. They may do a good job on domestic automobiles, but obviously can not repair Infinitis and are willing to lie about their shortcomings instead of being honest.

Another Update: they let me come in knowing their cameras on my car didn't work and wasted my time. They also just run a diagnostic test to identify the problem. My father could've done that. They quoted me over 4000 on a van I bought for 8000. I did not utilize them and the 74 year old owner/manager tried to victim blame me because I left the items in my car. In KY when left with a shop any contents locked away or in a trunk (locked) are not their responsibility but anything left accessible in the cab IS their responsibility and they can be held liable for it. ... Will update after my police report is filed and the rest is taken care of but as of now I don't know who has stolen my stuff but I'm missing a pink duffel bag with contents valuing between 250-300 dollars and it went missing during the tow or at Mr transmission and the tow truck company is pulling the videos and Mr transmission is not. I also asked if they lock the cars in the lot and they DO NOT. I checked the other cars on the lot. My 800 dollar wedding dress was stolen too. My transmission went out. I had it towed their from another auto shop that recommended them. I told that auto shop and triple AAA they shouldn't recommend Mr transmission further
