Had a fantastic experience at Milito’s Auto Repair! I had rat issues in my engine and it was way too difficult to handle it myself. These guys did such an amazing job fixing it up and left my engine and entire car sparkling at the end of it. They also installed an ultrasonic device to prevent future rat infestations. My engine hasn’t looked this good since I bought the car 2 and a half years ago. Jay-Jay was really great to deal with and made me a very happy customer.

Militos always goes above and beyond to help us. We have been customers for a few years and recently brought our car in for a major fix before a long trip. The staff worked quickly to find the best price for our part and rush it into the shop. They are efficient, communicative and fair. This car shop has been our go-to in the area and cannot recommend enough

Worst tire patch I have literally ever seen. We took it in on Monday to either patch or replace the tire, which they did same day. I had a medical appointment Tuesday, but when I checked the car - IT WAS ALREADY FLAT! The patched tire was so flat that it was sitting on my rim. Not a slow leak, but full on flat. I will NOT be going back to them.

Their work is whatever, but every time I go for an oil change, they try to upsell me. Today they told me that the new brakes that they installed only 12,000 miles ago need to be replaced. There's no way that's true, unless they installed bad/used/worn breaks to begin with. I won't be going back to them for anything.

Dont go here. Jay Jay the mechanic was very rude and made fun of me because I was a single mom. He made a rude comment and said " that was my choice". He was also very rude to one of the new workers in training. The mechanic ma looked clueless and only wanted money....you are better off going down th street to Lincoln park mechanic. Very nice and friendly mechanics who actually care about you and don't judge your situation and aren't looking just for money

Brakes are solid, but my boyfriend’s car charger was missing right after pickup. We asked immediately and were told “I’ve been doing this a long time—my guys aren’t going to take a $50 charger.” All we know is it didn’t grow legs and walk away. Hoping management reviews cameras and makes this right. Tip for others: remove accessories before drop-off.

My car key stoped working while I was parked near by so I needed a new key battery. Such scammers, trying to charge me over $30 for the little lithium coin battery. I wasn’t in the position to turn them down, so I paid. Very unprofessional & unethical.

I had a leak in my front door and water was getting in when it rained. We had days of storms ahead of us and I was so concerned I wouldn’t be able to keep my car dry with the impending storms. Not only was the amazing mechanic at Militos able to get my car into their shop early enough for me to get to work he was also able to get my car fixed and back onto the road the same day for a very reasonable price. I will be taking my car to Militos is exclusively going forward. Thank you so much for your help!

These guys are the best! I had a serious problem with my steering high pressure hose and I called them. They made me a close estimate and told me to bring the car. After I arrived in the morning, the staff was very polite and gave me all the instructions. They told me the car is gonna be ready by the end of the day (7pm). They called me at 3 pm and the price that I had to pay was the estimate that they initially gave me + a part that had a crack in it. They helped me when I needed it the most. I highly recommend these guys if you have problems with your car and you are in Chicago.

Incredible service! We discovered our car had a flat tire right as we were leaving for an hours long drive for Thanksgiving. We expected to be set back hours, but within 15 minutes of showing up the tire was repaired and we were back on the road. Super efficient and very kind service. Highly recommend!

Came into the shop because they are open Sundays to have an oil leak repaired when I was on a time crunch. Paid $1200+ for a repair that lasted two months, now I have to pay another shop to properly fix it. They won't honor their warranty if they misdiagnosed the issue. I would recommend waiting to take your car in somewhere else if you're coming in for an engine repair.

Excellent service, but I disagree with the assessment that one of my license plate lights wasn't working. I went to the shop, and they told me I would probably have to buy the part, and they would have to remove the old part from my car and fix the electrical system. The total cost for the service was $150, and I would have to order the part from Amazon. I decided to try fixing it myself since I have some basic knowledge. It took me a while, but I replaced the bulb and only spent $30. I think they could have offered better service or at least looked at the problem more closely and given me a better option.

My car experienced issues during a holiday weekend. I was able to call on Monday and they were willing to get it in that same day. They even came out to jump my car to get it to the shop to avoid having to tow it. Service was fast, friendly and reasonably priced. I will definitely be going back for any future repair needs.

Up until today, I would’ve given this place a five star rating. When I was in a better financial position, I would bring my old suv here and get it cleaned and detailed. When I first moved to Chicago I was told that this was a full service shop and when I tried to tip, tips were refused. Recently before I changed vehicles I had a tire that wouldn’t hold air. One person there (the attendant from this morning) told me that they couldn’t find an issue with the tire. I didn’t have money to replace it, especially since they said they couldn’t find a hole. A few weeks later, somebody else took a look at the tire, found an small leak, and they were able to get it patched up. This morning I went there with my newer vehicle. The air pressure changes due to the cold left one of them low. The attendant who filled up my air acted nice at first. However, after he put the air in my tire he asked me why I never tipped him. I explained to him that I don’t keep any cash on me and that I’m having some personal circumstances that don’t really allow for that. He told me my personal circumstances weren’t his problem. He told me that his fingers were cold and that he was shaking. Then he told me that unless I was going to tip him, I needed to go to a different shop to get air in my tire. I have a handicap sticker and shared my concern with my physical ability to put air in my tires. He said that was also not his problem, and I needed to pay him to get air. The only reason I’m giving two stars is because when I called to get the attendance name, I was able to speak with the service manager, JayJay! JayJay was beyond pleasant and was very apologetic On behalf of the shop. JayJay confirmed my previous understanding that attendants are compensated well. He did, however, clarify that although some people deny tips, it is allowed, but never required. How this particular service person treated me was terrible. This morning was very souring experience. For years, I’ve encouraged people to go to this shop and have their vehicles detailed because everyone is so kind and respectful. I’m considering placing calls and sending text messages and encouraging them to not go back.
