They supposedly put a new O2 sensor on my granddaughter’s car. They said it needed a new water pump. They did not fix the car. They argued and I took it to another dealership— they found a broken radiator cap and chewed wires from mice. They refused to give back the diagnostic fee. Very rude and unprofessional.

Inordinately trustworthy shop. As a personal anecdote: The owner repaired aesthetic damage on my car's body free of charge, and without me even asking. I was scheduled to have the damage repaired at a body shop for $2k, but when MJ Auto fixed it, I cancelled my appointment as MJ made it look more than good enough (and the damage was only aesthetic). However, being nitpicky, I took it back to him to see if he could do one extra aesthetic repair (I insisted on paying), and he immediately got some tools and hardware, and did exactly what was needed in about three minutes right there in the parking lot; again, no charge. They are quick, friendly, kind, and their lobby is clean and organized! My girlfriend and I always take our cars to MJ.

Initially, I was pleased with the professionalism exhibited by the service team and the quality of the repairs performed, which included an oil change, wheel bearing replacement, a front brake change, spark plug replacement, and valve cover gasket service. The vehicle is currently operating optimally, and I appreciate the warranty coverage provided for these services. However, my satisfaction was significantly undermined by the lack of effective communication during the service process. Over the week that my vehicle was in the shop, I received no updates regarding its status or any additional repairs that were deemed necessary. I recommend MJ AutoRepair adopt a more structured communication protocol moving forward.

Don’t do it!!! When my brother recommended them years ago it was nothing like how they operate now. I took my car in for the cat. Converter was charged almost $3,000.00 for that and spark plugs in 1/9/23. I took my car back in November of 24 was told I had a 3 yr warranty they kept my car for a week and could not duplicate the problem. The same code came up again a few weeks later I took it back they couldn’t duplicate reset the check engine. Light came on again same code I called left a message never got a call back. I took my car somewhere else for the starter while getting that fixed same rear convertor that was replaced by mj auto was defective and leaking. Today his response was he couldn’t duplicate the problem when it was the work he did and the cheap part that actually has a 5 year warranty that I wasn’t able to use. But today I was offered to bring it back after it’s been fixed somewhere else. I showed them my paperwork from MJ Auto and they did at no cost because they couldn’t believe I took my car back to have the converter looked at that was under warranty and you can clearly see I was taken advantage of. I am a basketball coach and mom I don’t expect anything free but man I wish mechanics would just do right by everyone.

My wife and I are in our 60’s and have had a lot of cars and auto repairs. We have been coming to Mollie and Josh since 2020 for ALL our auto care needs. They have both been truly amazing, every single time. Josh and Mollie are wonderfully considerate, conscientious, thorough, reliable, and totally honest. Every time. It’s just the way they are. My brother-in-law and my father-in-law come here too and say the same things. The quality of work and care is really unmatched. I would encourage anyone and everyone to use MJ Auto Repair. Finally, I will share that I was, by God’s grace, a very fruitful elementary and middle school principal in Wichita Public Schools for 20 years. However, we were not allowed to respond publicly to the half truths and unfair / unfounded accusations hurled against us at times. No reputable business or school doing the right things and holding the line can do so and have zero sour customers. In most all these cases, if the public knew the full story they would overwhelmingly side w the school / business. That’s why it’s sad for me to see how a couple people online are just off or negligent themselves. So, please, take those comments about MJ Auto repair that are online with a grain of salt. Just try MJ Auto Repair and see for yourself. What you see is what you get. Real, honest, caring people that know what they are doing. David

I remember being referred to MJ’s Auto Shop for any type of vehicle maintenance I needed because it was a trustworthy spot, so that’s where I went. I’ve found it hard to get an auto shop or mechanic that will be honest & not take advantage of you. I know I’m not the only one that feels that way nor am I the only female to feel it’s a bit more of a struggle to trust what’s said. I’ve been burned like anyone else when giving the benefit of the doubt. As much as I wish I could fix it all myself I can only figure out & do so much on my own. I need to have someone who’s transparent, honest & straight up. Most recently I took a suggestion from a friend for another spot she had great luck with in a pinch. I did not have the same experience & felt something was off in what they said so I called Josh. Long story short he was beyond helpful as always when I explained what was goin on. He always explains & I learn something new from him every time. I immediately got my car to him to take care of. You can tell he enjoys what he does so much & it’s awesome. Mollie & Josh are two of the greatest people I’ve had the pleasure of meeting & talking with! They are truly good people who want to help however they can, in all the ways & they truly care. It feels like such good family vibes, yep I said it. I feel good about giving them my business to take care of their family. I won’t take my vehicle anywhere else. I cannot recommend this place enough to everyone! 10/10 highly recommend!! Thank you MJ’s for always taking care of me, it’s so appreciated!!
