We’ve been using Expert Auto for a few years now. Yesterday I could tell my car battery was dying as the engine was hardly able to start, so I drove the car straight to Expert Auto knowing the battery was on its last life. Despite being extremely busy, JD made time to get my battery changed so that I could get my car back the next morning. Excellent customer service. Thanks JD.

I had an engine light pop up, and I couldn't pinpoint the problem. I dropped off my car earlier than my appointment just for my own convenience, and not long after they quickly diagnosed and fixed a pretty minor issue. I will definitely use them again in the future.

I have been to this shop before and they have always been very nice but I recently had a bad experience with someone named JD or Jay D short white male at the front desk . He took a long time to assist me or even acknowledge that I was their. He was very rude and I felt like he didn’t want to help me. I asked him if someone could check my tires for any leaks and he went on telling me I needed new sensors before even looking at my tires. Then after he finally decided to actually listen to what I needed he told me it would taken a long time to check my tires. I will not go back their again .

This place has taken care of my family for years, but each time we go they always exceed expectations. JD at the front is very kind, and never makes me feel dumb for being clueless about cars. I work overnight, and he waited to call me so I could sleep and not be woken up. They are also wayyyy cheaper than your cars’ dealership, and they get the work done fairly quickly for how many cars get brought in. They’re very through with making sure your car is in its best condition, and they’re honest and never try to upsell you something you don’t need. Wouldn’t go anywhere else!

Excellent shop and excellent service. I called them before I got off work to get my freon charged. They told me if I could come in now they could fit me in, otherwise I would have to schedule an appt. I got there and they serviced my vehicle right away and they were having a special for $65 plus the freon. I used 2lbs and they only charged me for 1.5lbs! They also told me I had a leak and put some dye in the coolant system so next time they can find the leak and repair it. I will definitely be going back!

Avoid the E. Central store at all costs. The manager is very very rude and unhelpful. He is sarcastic and apparently does not value or want customers. After saying he didn't have anybody there to help me (just to see if I needed a top off for oil) I asked if I could make an appointment and he told me no that they didn't take appointments because it was first come first serve. It was the way he said it and acted that was the worst. He could have said, "I'm sorry we don't have anybody but I'm happy to make an appointment or, you might try coming back on such and such day..." When I told him I wasn't going to do business after the way he spoke to me he told me, "good " then when I told him I was going to contact the owner, in a very sarcastic voice he said, "Ah, you are are you? Good." It was the worst experience. The owner never called me back after I left him 2 voicemails.

Had a simple flat tire, but my roadside assistance could not get the lug nuts off the tire due to “swelling”. I had my car towed here for them to cut the lug nuts off and replace them, and they took it upon themselves (Without calling or checking with me) to replace the lug nuts on ALL four tires instead of just the tire I asked to be fixed. What should have cost me 40 bucks turned into $136.

I came here to get an oil change and brought my own oil and filter. I showed the desk personal that my oil and coolant was over filled after the service and she told me this is what I get for being lazy. I went home to just drain it to the fill level myself. I wasn't satisfied with that and called and asked the manager to give me a call cause he wasn't there. He called me back and treated me like I don't know anything about cars even though I was a mechanic for 10+ years. I understand accidents happen but the lack of customer service is the reason I will never go back to this business. Update: I started taking some of the oil out and it was still very dark so I just drained all of it and refilled it with new oil. I also checked how tight the drain plug was and 60 foot pounds of torque. It's supposed to be around 30. I can't say this loud enough don't go here for anything! Beards closed because they were ripping people off. These guys are doing the same. I hope this is helpful.

Unfortunately I have to agree with some of the other reviews, this used to be my go to spot. Will no longer be the case since JD left. I have tried three separate times just to get my oil changed and I guess same day oil changes, no matter what time of day (even if you want to just drop it off and come back later) is not an option anymore. Neither is getting anyone to answer the phone. Been going there for years, its always been busy but at least I've always gotten service. The way you treat people matters and 100% will begin to effect you guys over time.

This used to be my go-to place for everything car related. JD was the reason I kept coming back. Because of him, I went out of my way to get oil changes and repairs done here, even when they weren’t strictly necessary. I brought my cars in close to 10 times last year because the service was that good. That’s no longer the case. I recently came back with both of my cars needing work and found out JD had been forced out and there was a new guy in charge. I’ve always brought my own parts since I can get them at a significant discount, which is a big reason I used this shop so often. The new manager was rude about it and flat-out said they charge extra on parts they buy “to make extra money,” and that it’s a “respect thing” not to question them. That interaction alone was enough to make me uncomfortable, and it felt completely unnecessary and unprofessional. On top of that, the quality of the work just hasn’t been the same. Since the visit, my car has been having ongoing issues with the serpentine belt. It’s been overly tight and takes a long time to loosen before I can drive, which is something I’ve never had an issue with before. I used to recommend this place to people without hesitation, but between the management change, the attitude toward customers, and the drop in quality, I won’t be coming back. It’s disappointing to lose a shop I trusted for so long. I just wish I knew where JD went so I could take my business to him.

I went here just to get a oil pressure sensor replaced on my Cadillac and it did not even get out of the shop when it said check coolant. Turns out they broke my radiator and my cooling fans and tried to get me to pay $912 for something that they did. It is pouring coolant and now I have no car. Bunch of scammers. Do not go here. **UPDATE** Before I got started on replacing my radiator, I bought 2 new cooling fans because they said they were broken in the bill. After I got the radiator out, it turned out the fans were not even broken. So now it looks like they tried to charge me for fans I did not even need, but now I have 2 useless fans I can't return thanks to these clowns. They tried to scam me and I don't trust them on my vehicles at all. Don't go here if you want an honest mechanic.

Best place in town to get your vehicle looked at or worked on. They’re very quick, honest and effective. They’ll tell you the best option to keep your vehicle in good shape and running while also helping you save as much money as they can. Great work so far with any vehicle I’ve brought in and I know it will keep being that way. Good oil changes and diagnostics. Amazing attitudes, easy to understand and talk to. Great personnel. Make sure to get there in the morning. They do great work and if you’re not early someone else will get there first. Dan is the man.
