Would give them 10 stars if I could. Our car was t-boned, but Rusty assured us it could be fixed and what a job they did! We were kept up to date with twice weekly phone calls. They worked with our insurance company so all we had to do was drop the car off, sign the papers and then pick it up. You would never know the car was in an accident. While I hope to never get into an accident again, if I did, I would return to Gerber with no hesitation.

Had drove to the business for an estimate. Was told that it would be two weeks to even get an estimate? Have always been able to get an estimate over many years of repairing cars. Usually, shops will at least give an estimate and then just let you know how far out they are from getting a vehicle repaired. But to not even get an estimate? That was a first for me. Do not waste your time driving to this business for an estimate. I would definitely be worried about them working on any vehicles after that experience!

This was the most painless experience. I was referred to Gerber by my auto insurance, after my fairly new vehicle was hit and damaged. I was so worried about how it would go and being without my car. The estimate was quick and was promptly sent to my insurance, as well as to me. I was quoted a couple days for the length of time the repair would take. Gerber and USAA worked together and enterprise was at the repair shop, waiting for me with the rental when I dropped my vehicle off. The repair was completed within my originally quoted timeframe. Gerber also offered for me to leave the rental there and they worked with enterprise to have the vehicle picked up from them. My vehicle was pristine and the body work was immaculate. It’s like the damage never happened. They detailed the inside and my vehicle is cleaner than when I left it. They have also provided a lifetime warranty on their work and asked me to reach out if I have any problems at all. I would 100000% use Gerber on West Kellogg, again!

If i could give them 20+ stars i would!!! Seriously this is the ONLY place that I'd recommend or EVER go to, to get any repairs done!! I was t-boned last year and they did an AMAZING job at the repairs! Not only that but I just recently hit a deer on my way to Missouri and had significant amount of damage done to my car. Since I was in Missouri at the time I had my car worked on by Reliable Chevy & Mercedes in Springfield, they did the WORST job that I've ever seen, my whole front end was crooked and was completely unfinished. I didn't even trust them to re-fix what they've already messed up. CLEARLY they weren't "reliable" the first time... so I gladly turned down their services, knowing in the back of my head that Gerber could get the job DONE and do it RIGHT! and of course they did!!!!! My car looks brand new, and I could really tell that they put the time in to make it look pristine!! They will ALWAYS be the top on my list and my go-to for ANY repairs!! Thank you Gerber for your hard work and amazing customer service!!

These guys are the best! My car was completely done w the entire process in a week. The labor took them abt 5 days total and they were so friendly and good abt keeping me informed. The staff are really awesome, especially Paige and Orlando. I called several times over the few weeks my car was there because I was anxiously waiting for my car to be finished, every time they were polite and didn't seem annoyed at giving me an update. On the mechanical side of things, there is a warranty on the parts so if anything goes wrong I can have it fixed which is awesome. The work done is amazing. It is like the accident never happened. The paint job is excellent. They washed my car before giving it to me which was nice. Overall great experience and I am glad I chose this shop. If for some reason I need body work done again I will bring my car here!

Recommended by Progressive Insurance after an accident. The worst experience with a body shop ever. Had to call for updates every couple of days. They never reached out, once. Was always told it would be ready tomorrow on 5 occasions. Their excuse was wrong part shipped or a new problem was found. On the last day they said our car was being detailed. I was a little excited to think I'd at least be picking up a clean car. I was disappointed to see that it was full of dried mud and dust. I dropped it off cleaner than I got it back, which was a bummer. Meanwhile, Progressive insurance stopped paying our car rental and Gerber agreed with Progressive, due to so many delays on their end, they would cover the remaining cost of the car rental. Well, they didn't hold up their end of the deal and I was charged approximately $475.00 for the rental. When my husband called to inquire if they had paid it or not, they couldn't tell him. He asked for corporate's phone number they indicated that they do not have a phone number. That is a huge red flag. Fast forward to today and the car is still having issues that didn't exist before the accident. Mind you, the car has only been driven 281 miles since February 1, when we retrieved our "repaired" car. Since they supposedly have a 100% guarantee, we called them to express concerns that the car was idling funny. The mechanic offered to look at it, but made it clear that he doesn't think it's related to the accident. Hear we go again with these people. We are absolutely done dealing with this shady company and their incompetent front desk personnel, as well as, mechanic. I simply cannot give anymore money, energy or time to them. They absolutely ruined our holiday season. From day one my husband and I have regretted not choosing another collision center. Do not trust your car with them if you value your sanity and time, find a professional.

I had my truck repaired by Gerber a couple years ago and noticed some cosmetic paint & clear issues. So I reached out to them and their “district manager” came out to inspect the truck. He admitted that there was quality problems with their paint repair and that they would absolutely take care of me and my vehicle. But because I didn’t want to have the truck repaired at their facility his tone quickly changed and then deflected the blame to another repair facility and stopped communicating with me. So it became a ping pong game between my body shop that I chosen, Gerber and the insurance company. How is admitting guilt then pawning the blame to another business taking care of your customers? 0/10 recommendation for this company!
