This is a very good garage. Other garages send jobs to G&L that they cannot do. Ken is always friendly and helpful. I called him with a question and he was willing to walk me through doing it at home. His rates are fair and the work he has done for me over the past several years has been of high quality and I have never been hustled.

I will always take my car to G&L! Professionalism and courtesy are two main reasons. The few times I have had problems I have always been able to get my car in the shop, have it worked up and back in little time. Well since my first review I was contacted by this company and I think they weren't properly informed of my concerns. So I'm going to give Dana a chance to fix the issues and I guess we'll see if it gets handled. I didn't really think these reviews got read by anyone other than me. I'm going to give them the opportunity to see what it is and go from there.

So I called to ask and get a quote about a problem I had diagnosed at another shop. I proceeded to exsplain the make and model of the car and what I wanted fixed. I was met with speculation as to the validity of the diagnosis I had from the other shop and then told that they weren't interested in the repair. I simply wanted a quote on a specific set of repairs that are not uncommon in my vehicle after 150k miles. They could have informed me that they would need to look at it before a quote and I would have been happy to set up a time. I did ask immediately if they give quotes over the phone and was polite and kind with my side of the interaction. Definitely not a place I could recommend from this particular interaction. Be prepared for less than stellar customer service if contacted about a quote. Wouldn't know the quality of there work because I was denied service lol

My family has trusted G&L on south Seneca for probably 40 years. I've had a few other places work on my car, but came right back to G&L and now I wouldn't go anywhere else. They have done right by us every time, no complaints. Great communication, they always give you an analysis and an estimate before proceeding. Never had a problem with the work. If you ever have a question, they'll make it right. Dana is practically a family friend. I highly recommend them.

Wanted starter replaced and oil change and tire repair and rotated. They could not get my spare down from under my truck. It takes a special tool that was not touched. They took my hood lamp bulb from under the hood. They took my jack out from its bolted position under the seat for some reason then when they were done with it they through it back in. Didn't bolt it down like they found it. Did not do the tire rotation like I requested. They did replace starter and it works fine. That repair was done quickly. ***** I thought I would add to this review since Dana called me and called me liar. He said that I said they didn't replace the oil filter? Do you see where I said that on my original review? EVERYTHING that I said was true. Why would I lie? Dana YOU are the one that needs to read it.

They were respectful to talk to and when my wife took my truck in to get worked on they did not try to talk over her and when she said that she did not know and the needed to talk to me the did that without arguing. Pricing on work done is standard, but they were quick and did a great job. Definitely will use them again if I need work done!

They did front end work on our truck. Took harmonic balancer off. Wasn't suppose to. Now our truck needs a new motor cause they threw the timing off. Broke bug guard. And didn't even tell us they did. Was suppose to fix it and never called us. So don't think about getting your cars worked on by them. They don't know what they are doing.

I have used G&L Garage for several years and have dealt with the owner, Jeff Bell and can say he’s always bent over backwards to make my experience as professional as possible. Jeff has always diagnosed my problem on my vehicles and let me know what to expect in the way of time and money involved on the repair. If he’s busy, he has always worked me into the shops schedule to support my needs. I truly recommend Jeff for his outstanding work and honesty!

Amazing service. The only man that ever listened to anything I said. I mentioned a problem one time and didn’t realize he heard me for a month until I went to prop my hatch up with a broom handle and realized the mechanic fixed the problem and I didn’t need the broom handle anymore. The greatest ever.

this place is a scam. lies to older people. my dad took his truck in because his oil pressure gauge was acting funny. they told him.he needed a new motor that bearings where going bad. $10,000 repair. thank god I sent them to trudos in haysville for a second opinion. nothing was wrong at all just a faulty oil pressure gauge on the dashboard. so be aware of gl garage. they try to take advantage of older people who.are.retired and on a fixed income. Just down right trash this place is. 👎👎👎
