Helpful, quick, & a life saver. We were 2 hours from home on a Sat afternoon. A screw & washer punctured the tire. They squeezed us in although they had a full plate, allowing us to get home after already a 6 hour trip. Divine intervention they were open & agreed to fit us in under such circumstances.

Came in first thing needing a simple valve stem replacement, received very subpar service. Was first asked to drop the truck off and leave it, for a 5 minute repair. Was informed that there were no technicians at the shop yet, while a man in a tech uniform sat behind him eating oatmeal. That may have been true, however the perception of the customer was the opposite. Waited about the time it took to call southern tire down the street and have it done in the expected five minutes. Very disappointed in myself for not trusting my gut about any business operated by Monro Muffler and Brake.

I brought my vehicle to Mr. Tire La Plata to diagnose a knocking sound while driving. I was told the issue was caused by all of my lug nuts being loose. I was also informed that my rear brakes needed pins installed, even though these pins are not a required component. After being told this, I provided replacement lug nuts (one wheel had damaged lug nuts) and the brake pins myself. Despite supplying the parts, I was charged approximately $150. This included a $50 diagnostic fee (which is typically applied toward repairs) and $90 to tighten the lug nuts. I did receive a military discount, which covered the taxes. I was then told they could not install one of the brake pins because the “tire wobbling damaged the threads in the pin hole.” Most concerning, however, is that after all of this, the original knocking sound is still present when I drive the car. I left paying for a diagnosis and repairs that did not resolve the issue I came in for, and with more questions than answers. Unfortunately, this was a very disappointing experience, and I do not feel the service provided matched the cost or expectations.

I discovered a coolant leak on my van on our trip home to Virginia and the gentleman at the front ( assume the owner ) couldnt fix it because he didn't have a hose but topped it off and gave me a gallon of antifreeze..no charge for any of it just sent us on our way. Class act! Highly recommend!

We purchased tires from Mr. Tire about a year and a half ago. The sales staff was very nice and helpful. This past week one of my tires was losing air. We contacted Mr. Tire and set up a day to drop off my car. That day they took care of my tire and notified me when they were done. Again, the staff was fabulous. The service was great and since I bought my tires there, there was no cost! We highly recommended La Plata Mr. Tire!

Mr. Tire in LaPlata, MD is THE BEST! They coordinated with my CC company to get me the best price for the outstanding service I received! Anthony was my tire and alignment guy and he was phenomenal! Daniel was my counter guy and he was patient and listened to all of my requests and responded appropriately! Jeff, the manager, had my account set up and ready to go when I came in on Sunday morning! Horrible experience. My appointment was scheduled between 9:30 and 11:00 AM for four new tires, mounting, and alignment, yet my car was not ready until after 3:30 PM. To make matters worse, I was charged for rear brake pads that I did not request. Fortunately, the staff member I worked with earlier confirmed the details of my original appointment and backed me up. Be cautious and review your invoice carefully before making payment

I had my brand new car’s summer tires swapped with all-season tires on November 26, 2025. Surprisingly, my car had no damage to the wheels, and it had only 650 miles on it at the time. When I went to pick up my car, I immediately checked all the wheels, and to my shock, one of them was damaged! I have yet to hear from anyone, but the person working said that he was sending a claim. I am extremely particular about my vehicles, so I bet they assumed that I wouldn’t inspect the car before driving it off. Hopefully, this will prompt someone to contact me.
