I had an excellent experience at this location recently. I brought my Tesla in for a flat tire, and the entire process was smooth and stress-free. Christopher does a fantastic job running the shop, and it was a pleasure working with him. I highly recommend this place.

Took my Acura for maintenance. My engine splash shield fell off the next day, since then my car made a noise it did not make prior. I took it back a total of FOUR different times to fix this issue, my car continued to make a noise. The 2nd time I Was informed they used ZIP TIES to hold a piece of my car together… 4th time the STORE MANAGER Chris, told me he removed the zip ties and ordered the manufacturer clips for my Acura. HE DID NOT. My car continued to make the noise it’s been making after they “worked” on it. I took my car somewhere else for new tires bc and a 2nd opinion on the engine splash. The new location informed me there were SELF TAPPING screws in my car… we called Chris the store manager to find a resolution. I hoped they would have covered the cost of a new engine splash, because after all I TOOK MY CAR A TORAL OF 4 times. And it fell after they did maintenance + they were never able to fix the issue/ noise. Christopher proceeded to tell me about my 3 bad tires, as if that something to do with my engine splash shield avoiding any accountability. Save your time their attitude and customer service is trash.

To the workers and staff at Mr. Tire on Buckeystown Pike: 1) learn what customer service is; I waited 20 minutes just to talk to a staff member. I needed one tire replaced so I could get home, and the staff member "greeted" me by asking if I had an appointment. As my tire had just become flat, I did not have an appointment, which is why I stopped at Mr. Tire because they were right there. The worker quoted me $360 to replace 1 tire. I asked if they could help me put my donut on to get home, and they said they would for $90. I understand the worker works at a car place and wants to take advantage of every customer, but I was a customer in need of help, and Mr. Tire offered no help, just extortion. Be kind, you guys. Act like you care. Just because you make a living off other people's misfortune, doesn't mean you will be given free license to be mean. Grow up and take pride in your job. Help people when you can. Thankfully, a dear friend was able to drive out to Buckeystown to help me put the donut on. I will never visit another Mr. Tire as long as I live, and I recommend that people not patronize this business.

Store Manager Christopher Oliver attitude & customer service Poor! Told on phone oil change/tire rotation/balance will take 40 min, made appointment, arrived on time, took 2+ hours cuz "someone came in ahead of you," told tire balancing wasn't done then told it was done "as a favor to me" - yet it comes free with the tires I bought from them - yet paperwork indicates tire balancing not done nor other standard maintenances they claim they do also indicated not done. When I voiced concern about things he was unresponsive, seemed to not care. Driving away and tires show overinflation at 37 lbs vs. recommended 33.

I went in to get a front end alignment and two new tires. Font end work was great. People were wonderful, but no tires. Not in stock a little bit crazy that you go to a tire place and they don't have the tires in stock.

Brad was able to squeeze me in for a diagnostic and battery replacement. I was 2 hours from home and would have been stranded on a mountain with no way out. I cannot thank him and his team enough for their generosity and help!!

Had an appointment for 9:30. Didn’t get out until almost 2:00pm. Should have only take an hour. Apparently they overbooked worse than the airlines. Also tried to sell me a battery I did not need. Probably going elsewhere next time.

Went to Mr.tire on 40 to get new tires, they messed up my rim by RUSHING! The guy there told me he would have the manger call me the next day because he wasn’t there that day. I never received a call, so I called. The guy on the phone was super nice until I told him about my problem… he put me on hold for idk 10 minutes and at that point I hung up. I tried calling again and no answer. Another time.. NO ANSWER. I then called the Mr.Tire over on 85. Talk to the manager there, super nice.. I thought anyways. He told me to come in and to take a look. He then told me he would order a new rim and it would take a week to two weeks for it to get here. NEVER GOT A CALL OR ANYTHING. Now I’m thinking how am I going to get a new $1,000 rim that THEY MESSED UP. Legal action I guess.

I'd actually purchased and paid for new tires at the large discount store with the blue sign at the next intersection. However, that store wasn't able to remove the lug nuts to install my tires. The folks at Mr Tire were able to help loosen them so that the store with the blue sign could finish. The Mr Tire people were so nice and went over and above to help someone who didn't even buy anything. Make that, didn't buy anything yet. Because our family plans to go to this Mr Tire for our next purchase.

I came in to the shop looking to have a tire patched and was quickly informed that not only could my tire not be patched, but I would need a full 4-tire replacement. Talk about an overwhelming feeling when you are unprepared for that kind of news and expense. But, Chris, the store manager, helped to ease the emotional impact and worked with me to make the situation as pain-free as possible. I am grateful for his candor and generosity, and will be a lifetime return customer.

Brad was very helpful when I called ahead and asked how much a simple tire rotation would be for my SUV. It wasn’t the quickest service, but just because of Brad’s customer service and helpfulness, I would return in the future and recommend talking to Brad if your need to service your vehicle.

Price gouging rip off! Simple tire install $100 per tire! So $400 to have 4 tires installed, just for labor.. what a joke. I had an appointment to get four tires installed today, as I’ve done in the past and brought my own new tires with me, as I’ve done several times at the Rockville location, and previously had great experience and reasonably priced at around $110 for all 4. Very rude and massively tattooed individual at the counter kept repeating “it’s policy” over and over when I was asking simple questions, like is it a new policy? He would just repeat “it’s policy” then pointed to a note scribbled on an erasable pen whiteboard “customer provided tires $99 per tire” what a joke and blatant rip off. Avoid.

Thank you! I am out of town visiting for a funeral. The cold weather triggered my tires air pressure alarm. I just drove up and told them the problem. I was directed around the corner where a worker was waiting for me. Less then a couple of minutes and all tires showing good. No payment required. Just one less thing to worry about during a difficult time. Thank you!

Honesty. I appreciate honesty so much. Things sometimes can go so awry so fast. I believe coming to this location you will get the truth of whatever your situation is but even better, options on how to fix it. Options on how to go about best process and price options within realistic terms. You may need to wait or do a drop off but it will get done and it is in good hands. The direct communication with Chris is top notch. Truly a man who cares for his customers and knows that life, is life.

I cannot say enough good things about my experience today at the Mr. Tire on Buckeystown Pike in Frederick, MD. We had rented a vehicle from a local Enterprise to drive to New Hampshire for Christmas to see my elderly father, who is not in good health. Unbeknownst to us, the rental was given to us with the two front tires completely bald. Once we got on the highway, the car began vibrating severely and felt extremely unsafe. When we contacted Enterprise—who was close to closing—they offered no solution for the serious safety hazard they put us in. We went to two other tire shops in the area desperately looking for help, but neither had the tires available. At that point, I was exhausted, overwhelmed, and close to tears, feeling like our entire trip was about to fall apart. That’s when I called Christopher at Mr. Tire. From the moment he answered the phone, everything changed. I explained our situation—practically crying—and without hesitation he said, “Come on over, we’ll get you taken care of. I have plenty of those tires in stock and I’ll get you back on the road in no time.” His warmth, compassion, and willingness to help meant more to me than I can put into words—especially after feeling like no one else cared about the position my family was in. We brought the car over, and Christopher immediately diagnosed the issue. The repairs were completed within an hour. He reassured me that none of this was our fault and even took the time to educate me on what to check for in the future when renting a vehicle before leaving the lot. He was knowledgeable, kind, patient, and genuinely caring. Christopher didn’t just fix a car—he helped a stressed family, comforted a stranger, and saved our Christmas. I am beyond grateful for what he did for me, my husband, and our two young children. Thank you, Christopher Oliver, for being more than a store manager—for being a friend, a neighbor, and a truly caring human being. And to the owners of this location: please recognize Christopher for his outstanding work ethic and compassion. He represents your business in the very best way.

Really appreciate the communication and work I received at Mr. Tire. I had an issue that needed to be resolved same day and the staff stayed late to make it happen. Nick was my only point of contact and he was a great communicator. Kept me updated and was honest throughout the entire process.
