I brought my 2020 Outback in for an issue with the navigation system. The service department got me scheduled right away, provided a loaner, and performed 3 recall repairs. For convenience, I had the oil changed while I was there and was not charged as the 1st one is free with purchase. I don't live close so I've been using a local shop. The dealership reminded me that I never got my free one so they did it almost 3 years later! Very friendly staff, great experience. Highly recommend for sales and service!

Super fast. They were very busy but the wait was amazing short. Great service!!! Update: my tire pressure warning came on. I told them ONLY change the oil but they gave me a bigger package without telling me. A tech did not back out correctly andcnow I am saddled with the warnings until I can get home. Ino longer recommend this business.

Went to the Frederick Subaru for a recall on my Ascent. I called ahead and got an appointment for less than a week out. They told me the repair would be about an hour and I was out the door in 30 minutes! Staff is friendly and helpful. Waiting area is comfortable with good coffee selection. Highly recommend.

Walked into the service center and was met with service writer and found him to be very professional. My vehicle was taken in very quickly for a oil change while I waited. They performed my oil change as well as safety check on my truck. Also seen the mechanic perform checks for the fluid levels and check for any leaks prior to bringing my truck out to me. Was glad to see the mechanic took time yo double check the work he performed.

This was my first complimentary oil change and tire rotation. I called and scheduled the appointment with Ashley and asked how long the maintenance would take, she stated about an hour and identified the vehicle to be serviced. When I dropped it off they had the incorrect vehicle scheduled, Jim said it would be an hour and a half to two hours for the service when I told him I was going to wait. I also explained that I quoted an hour by Ashley or I would have dropped it off the night before. He became visibly frustrated and a little gruff so I chalked it up to a bad day. Until he was just as curt during checkout. I was expecting a little better customer service based on my experience with the sales department especially Grant. Next time I will just drop it off for the day, I am also curious how long their “Express” service takes.

Since I was waiting at the dealership to while the work was performed, I was very pleased. The service tech even reminded me that I had service points to credit towards the appointment which helped to cut the bill in half.

This is the same dealership where I purchased my Subaru - all service I’ve received has been top notch. My most recent visit to the service department was no exception - I was in and out with a loaner and they had my car back to me in two days. It was suggested that I go to their Quick Lane Service. Ed, the Manager there, was very friendly, professional, thorough, and a lot of help. He got things rolling quickly to order parts. He promised to call the next day as soon as he knew the parts were in. And guess what? He did what he said he would do. I would trust Ed to do any of my simple service needs again. You cannot go wrong with him.

Awful experience. I made an appointment for routine maintenance, including oil change, and recalls. The car panel indicator said an oil change was needed. I was aware there would be a wait. After about 3 hours, they said the vehicle was done. But they only did the recall work! They sent me to Quick Lube for the other routine work. So I drove to Quick Lube, waited another half hour, then was told I needed new tires. The dealer service shop did not tell me I needed new tires! Total incompetence on the part of the dealer service department.

The service I received from the time I entered the front door until the time I received my vehicle was grate. I arrived at 12:55 and I walked out at 1:50. I will always bring my car to this location. We moved to Florida five years ago, but still find Subaru Frederick Motor company to be the BEST service anywhere. Our 10 year old Outback had a transmission issue on our way to Bethany Beach, DE. . The dealer in Salisbury was the closest, but they could not guarantee the part because it was on back order. When I called Jim in the service department, he told us to drop it off Sunday night when we got back to our daughter’s house in Frederick. By 3pm on Monday, he had the car ready to return to Florida on Tuesday. I have had many different cars in the 56 years I’ve been driving, but never have I felt as much like part of the family as I do at Frederick Motor Company! They have been the best service department I have ever had the pleasure to work with. I’ve always said a dealership is only as good as its service department - and these folks are the best! Thank you for taking such good care of us.

Great communication and no pushiness. Took their time explaining. Totally good with the fact I typically go to an independent shop—they did a Subaru-specific repair, and said I also needed a new timing belt and urged me to get it soon no matter who did it. So didn’t try to sell me on it. (Ended up doing it there anyway because the price seemed about appropriate.)

Ken and his service team went beyond the extra mile to fix my 23 Maverick. They discovered that some previous warranty work I had done (at another service center) wasn't entirely to spec, and those problems needed to be corrected before they could work on the truck. Instead of telling me I was on my own, they took great care to document the issues, and worked internally to get the repairs approved and covered. I was not looking forward to navigating this on my own, so I'm very grateful and appreciative to the staff here. It was a tough situation, and they nailed it! I had my truck back and running like a top in less than 24 hours.

This is the best service in the DMV area! I had to schedule my first service on a very short notice and while there were no spots available online, I was fitted into the schedule and got my car serviced in less than an hour. It was extremely helpful to have all my records (incl service contract) pulled up ahead of my arrival, so the car was taken into service literally the minute I got there and all the paperwork was ready! Mark Lawson was a great sales person. But I needed information about my warranty, because I bought a Chevy from a Ford dealer, in a timely manner. I called several times, left multiple messages and it to them almost a week to get back to me. Days after my claim was denied. I wouldn’t recommend them to a friend.

I had a disappointing experience with the service department at Frederick Motor Co. Despite scheduling a 10 AM appointment for a recall repair, my vehicle didn’t enter the service bay until I inquired at 3 PM. I recommend checking your vehicle’s location on the FordPass app to ensure it’s being worked on. I had to rent a vehicle from Enterprise at my own expense, expecting same-day completion as promised, but the lack of communication and delays were frustrating. Even the next day, I received no updates from my service advisor and had to visit in person to get answers. This poor customer service has convinced me not to return. Improvements in communication and timeliness are needed.

The team led by Jason service advisor and mechanics took care of a complex issue. How many managers get dirty! There is no wonder why they are ao busy. Kind of like Chic Fila but worth the little wait. Although they got me in due to my issues and wow its new again. World class service for a local Frederick family man. price is reasonable. The qualtiy is what I how found to be Very Hi! thanks to the Frederick Ford team and continung a tradition of customer service and quality.
