While I found the prices for service to be on the high side, I was willing to overlook that for the promise of quality. Unfortunately, that quality was nowhere to be found. Just a few days later, I started hearing a rattling noise coming from my wheels. Upon investigation, I removed the lug nut covers from my rims only to discover loose lug nuts freely rolling around inside. How does something as basic as properly tightening lug nuts get overlooked—on multiple wheels, no less? This level of negligence is unacceptable. Needless to say, I will never be returning.

Will never go back, dude at the desk was awesome but I had an APPOINTMENT at 10:30 for a OIL CHANGE… we did not leave until 3:30. No point in making an appointment if I still have to wait hours to be taken care of anyway.

Honestly my experience was horrible. Over 3 and a half hrs for 4 tires and you weren't busy.. appointment was 9am was almost 10 am before car made it into the shop. Very disappointing

Took hours to do a simple job which I get your busy but it was a 5 min job literally then got a price i was ok with on the phone got to the store was told a cheaper price which was a nice surprise then they do the job 6 hours later I go to pay the bill and it was higher then the phone quote and the price I was told in store by over double

I was a little upset because the coupon that I had online I wanted Goodyear assurance tires and it had 137 for each tire then I go in there’s an assistant meeting a manager excuse me a manager that was on duty that ran the Frederick store and he said we very seldom ever get those tires and we can order them, but we very seldom will receive them and he turned me onto another type of tire, which was the Goodyear comfort and that’s not what I want. It was much more money and I told him I said well you know you have it online and you have to honor it so isn’t that baiting switch and he goes well you could say that and I said well you know I was hinting to him to please reimburse me for the difference because if you’re telling me you can’t do this and then you you know you can’t do this but yet you’re clearly advertising it. Something’s not right here so somebody needs to do something and I am. I don’t think I’ll be returning again the tires I got the Goodyear comfort are nice and and everything but you know I could’ve really used the extra money. I mean $137 versus 180 some attire is a lot of money and I just think that I should be reimbursed for the difference, not happy at all.

My first visit to Mr Tire was April 8th 2025. They were amazing! I got four new tires (50,000 mile warranty) for buy one get one tire free. Staff was excellent! When I went to pay for my tires the gentleman asked me if I wanted a extended warranty on my tires. It was a lifetime warranty! I said exactly what does that mean? He said if anything should happen to your tire we will replace it for free. Stem tire etc. Last week, I saw that there was a screw in my tire. It was located between the tread and the sidewall. I said to myself thank God I have this warranty I don't have to pay for this tire! WRONG!!!!! I had an oil change done there as well. That price was very fair. But when I got to the register to pay my bill the man said that will be $207. 😳🤔 I said for what? The oil change was supposed to be $64.99 according to the service man. But I noticed on my paperwork it was only $58 and some change. The remaining balance of my bill was for my tire! I said to the manager that was working there that day, what in the world is going on? I said I was told that if anything happened to my tires that they would be guaranteed for life. He said well that's not correct. I said oh my God I only have 6,000 miles on my tires I just bought them in April. He continued to say that I didn't have to pay full price for my tire I got a discount. So what I want you to know is be careful if someone offers you a warranty make sure you have them explain it in great detail. What I would like to say to the managers at Mr Tire is make sure your employees know exactly what a warranty includes!!!! Went in thinking I would pay about $70 tops for my oil change walked out paying over $200. Not happy!!!!!

What a complete joke. I was on hold for over an hour and not a single person answered the phone. Not once. Apparently customer service doesn’t exist here. I work at AutoZone and constantly send customers to tire shops but after this disaster, Mr. Tire will never get another referral from me. If answering the phone is too much to handle, I have zero confidence in the actual work being done. Total waste of time. Do yourself a favor and go literally anywhere else.

If I could give zero stars I would. Called to get a price for an oil change and tires. Told I should make an appointment. They didnt ask for any of my info. I arrived 10 minutes before my appointment time still had to wait an hour and half before my car was in for an oil change that they forgot about. I had to ask them at 2pm how much longer. They said they are pulling it in right now. 15 minutes later the pull my car into a bay for an oil change. 45 minutes later I pay $125.00. I asked my tires. They said they were fine. Fine? I've been having to put air in my tire for 2 weeks now. They had someone else pull my car in and look at tire. They found a nail it. Instead of asking me if I wanted a new tire or a plug they went ahead and plugged it. I spent a total of 4 hours at this place which is totally uncalled for! I will never go back.Tried calling customer service number they have listed on the website but they do nothing but hang up on you. Will never go to My Tire again! Poorly ran place!!!!

Went in and asked about an alignment and balancing. Ultimately decided to get a diagnostics and made clear that I would decide if I needed the alignment/balancing after receiving the diagnostics results. Results came back, then I was told I needed to pay $45 for a balancing, even though that wasn’t supposed to be done unless I decided to agree to it after receiving diagnostic results. Diagnostic results said I needed new inner & outer tie rods quoted at $1400, a transmission fluid flush (my transmission fluid did not need flushed), a tune-up, and other stuff that didn’t actually need done, priced at about an additional $1500 on top of the tie rod parts/labor. I went home and ordered the tie rod parts from Detroit Axle for a total of $67, received them 2 days later and paid someone off Marketplace $300 to do the labor. Total spent was $367 for replacing the inner and outer tie rods, boots etc. The whole reason I needed the diagnostics was due to shakiness while braking. The tie rod work failed to solve that, even though they assured me it would solve it. I went to my local mechanic to get an alignment immediately after the tie rod work and they, free of charge, checked out my van and told me the shakiness was due to warped rotors, scheduled me for replacement of them and replaced them free of charge under warranty from when I had them replaced last time through them. Why Mr Tire failed to notice warping in the rotors whilst performing a diagnostics is beyond me. Probably because they thought I would pay thousands for work that wouldn’t solve the issue so I would keep coming back and giving them more money. They pulled this same type of crap 9 years ago when I went there with a different vehicle, so I never went back until recently. Big mistake. Money hungry people that are only worried about sticking their hands in your pockets rather than actually finding what’s wrong and fixing it at a reasonable price. I called multiple other auto shops and received way cheaper quotes for the tie rod work before deciding to just have someone local do it for even cheaper. Long story short, go elsewhere.

Made a road trip back home from Iowa, had an issue arise after hitting a pothole. Ron greeted me very good attitude and assured me I came to the right place. Introduced me to Ronald who checked out my car and got me back on road and made it home safely over 12 hours of driving back. If you need any assistance with a vehicle issue or just need some new set of tires go see them. And side note not only was I taken care of but a lot of customers while I was there was taken care of seamlessly. Very good service

I came in for a few issues. A problem tire, windshield wipers and battery for key fob. Ended up with all new tires, windshield wipers and key fob fix. Let me tell you, i am absolutely delighted with the service i got, and on a very tight schedule (for me) car was done on time. The car is running exceptionally and it was a very reasonable price. Mr. Ron is an answer to a prayer, thank you Ron!

I had a coupon for $49.99 for partial synthetic with tire rotation. They tried to say my car took more expensive full synthetic oil (it’s a 2012–it doesn’t). Even still I had to pay $65 after extra fees but better than the $120 he was pushing. Never again! Do not recommend! They even neglected to do tire rotation at first. Smh.
