My experience with Mr. Tire on South Center St. was very pleasant. The staff there was very friendly and helpful. I've visited several times over the last past 2 months with multiple vehicles and my experience has been the same each time. The pricing was also cheaper than the other shop that use to take my vehicles to.

The staff is excellent and friendly. They kept me informed about my vehicle status. They even let me know there was a delay in delivery for my oil filter. I recently had knee replacement surgery and walking is still slow and tiring. They made sure I was able to get into my vehicle by parking close and right by the door. Excellent folks on staff there.

So I went to both Mr. Tire in hickory NC. The first one said that I needed breaks, 2 new tires, wheel bearing and the cabin filter. So I took it to the other Mr. Tire and they said the same thing except that I didn't need a cabin filter. That was before Christmas. So today January 7, 2026 and I took my car for a third opinion. Sid's auto repair said I didn't need break's or a wheel bearing, just the tires. So Sid's saved me over $1500 dollars. Hard to find honesty anymore. I have a new auto repair shop 👍👍👍

I brought in a wheel off of my car to have a tire replaced that got damaged. While balancing the tech damaged my wheel. They tried to have it fixed but they were unable. It was a very expensive wheel so they agreed to refund my money. The paperwork was done yet I received no refund. I have called and was told to call corporate. I call and email Monroe and they never return any correspondence. Nothing but a serious run around. I guess small claims court is my only way to action.

David & Bobby were a HUGE help to me and my gf today! While we were enjoying our Saturday, we got a huge flat and had trouble getting a spare on and to a shop in time to get a fix or new tire. Luckily these fellas were still available 30 minutes before closing to assist us. They patched us up quickly and saw we had been struggling and didn’t even charge for the help in fixing the flat. Turned a stressful day around for us and we are very grateful!

The staff at this store is awesome. They are my go-to for anything tire related. Teresa, Sam, David—-all are helpful and friendly. If you call and happen to get the awful call center, make sure to specifically request this store. I got transferred to two other stores without any input. Navigating the call center is not much good.
