I just had my oil and wipers changed on a rental. Even though the process was a bit complicated, Cassandra was very helpful and professional. All was done very quick and professional. This is definitely my new apot for my car service

I was rushing to work when I got a flat tire and stopped by Mr. Tire. Despite being in a hurry, they had me back on the road in just 20 minutes! Cassandra was especially helpful—super professional, friendly, and efficient. She made a stressful situation much easier. Really appreciate the quick service and great customer care. Highly recommend! Thank you guys

Cassandra and Jacob were very kind to accommodate a last minute request for a State Inspection. Even though it was very close to their closing time, they were very patient, even after a 12 hour day, to walk me thru all the things needed with the car. Definelty recommend Mr Tire at Apex.

Took our car to get brake pads replaced after the car brakes had been squeaking and they rudely convinced us to get the full brake job. We did because the car did have about 100k miles on it. They took about 5 hours for the job and were asking for 1600 which we negotiated down to 1k. After the replacement it has been a few months and since after the first 2 days car brakes still squeak, handbrake doesn’t hold anymore on hills and driveways, and we went 4 times to use our warranty and they waste 4-5 hours put antisqueak and say it’s good now, antisqueak wears off within 2 days. Please don‘t go to this Mr Tire, also the pink hair lady is very rude and just wants to take as much money as she can.

Came in today to get my battery checked out and Liz was an incredible help the whole way through! They got a new battery installed on the spot within the hour. I’ll be coming back for anything car related in the future 100%.

I’ve been bringing my car in to this location for maintenance and minor repairs for a few years. I won’t detail the numerous visits that contribute to my 5 star rating, but what I will say is that they have always been kind, knowledgeable, and, to my knowledge, fair. I can’t comment on whether the pricing is better than other similar places, but what I can comment on is the human decency that I’ve witnessed multiple times. They’ve waived off the cost of an AC system inspection when they didn’t have the equipment to fix the issue (my AC is dumb) when they could’ve easily charged for it. They worked my car in for an inspection that I forgot was due when they were set to close in 15 minutes. I just watched the manager and another employee (perhaps the asst manager?) show an elderly woman the utmost compassion and empathy when she started crying, as her husband recently passed and he used to handle all the car stuff. This is why I come here.

I brought my car in to have a patch installed on one of my tires. They then brought the wheel in question out and it turns out there were cords showing due to a misalignment by the last shop. Cassandra (who is AWESOME) gave me a great deal on a new set of tires and an alignment. I couldn't be happier with the service and will definitely make Mr Tire my go-to tire shop from here on out.

Brought my daughter’s car in yesterday for a screw in the tire and Jacob and the rest of the staff were so friendly, courteous, and most importantly- HONEST!! It looked worse than it was so we did order a tire just incase as they didn’t have our tire in stock. We brought it back today, and instead of just putting the new one on as most would do, they were able to pull the screw out and just plug it. A huge thank you to them for making sure we were safe leaving as it was, and for not over charging us with a new tire when we came back!! Highly recommend as they really are honest!! This is my first review for Mr. Tire in Apex, but not my first experience with them!

Mr. Tire is very trustworthy, they showed me pictures of the things that needed repairs on my car and let me know what should be first priority repairs with my limited budget. Definitely will be coming back since they show me pictures of exactly what they found.

To be honest, not sure what to say. Here is my recent experience with Mr: Tire. My car was showing low pressure in one tire. I took my car to Mr. Tire to get it checked to see if the tire needs any repair. After an hour, the front desk told me that the tire is fixed and there is no cost which was very nice of them. However, after few minutes leaving Mr. Tire, the dashboard showed the same tire had low pressure. So I came home and took my car back to Mr. Tire next morning and they told me that the patch didn't fix the problem and I needed to replace the tire which cost me few hundred dollars. In my opinion, the problem should have been fixed in the first trip so I wouldn't have to spend that much money. I wasn't satisfied with their reasoning why the tire wasn't fixed in first trip to the shop.

Went in for a routine Oil Change and Tire rotation. I waited for the vehicle because they were not busy. 15 minutes into my wait I was shown pics of an air filter that needed replacing, and rear brake pads that also needed replacing. I immediately agreed to those recommendations and appreciated the notification. I expected an extra hour or so of wait time. I paid, then drove home, 2 miles away. My wife used the same car to run an errand, but brought it back in 10 minutes saying it was making a scary sound underneath the car. I discovered that the shroud or cowling had been left in-reattached and was hanging down. I took the car back to Mr Tire first thing next morning. They fixed it immediately. Just glad it wasn’t the oil pan plug.

Yesterday, I came in for a tire repair and was greeted by a kind spirited lady (Cassandra). You could tell it was a pretty hectic and busy day yet she was still as calm as can be. I did end up choosing to come to an early morning appointment today and she was just as calm and kind. Often times when getting a repair it’s a fast pace lack of interaction but she was welcoming, funny and conversational. The repair itself went smooth and I was in and out! Amazing atmosphere of people especially first thing in the morning!

If I could give this 0 stars I would. I have never written a bad review in my life but the service at this location deserves it. I made an appointment to have my tire changed the day before, purposely so I wouldn’t have to wait hours. When I arrived, there was no one at the front desk and the phone was ringing off the hook. I gave it 10 minutes and when there was still no one coming to help, I walked over to the garage where I found the woman supposed to be manning the front desk just chatting with the technician. From where they were, they would have seen me walk in. I explained I had a 1pm appointment and she finally came back to the front a few minutes later. When I explained the situation about my valve cap being fused with the valve stem and that I had tried to get it off as well as my mechanic she stated that I should try another location because there’s nothing they can do to fix that and if they can’t take off the valve stem they can’t change the tires either. She suggested I go to their Davis location 8 minutes away. She also said that it would be hours before they could get to my car. Confused what the appointment was for then. When I asked what happens if they can’t get the tire off she simply stated, “I don’t know, it’s never happened before.” I drove to the Davis location and they got it off in 5 minutes and the service was amazing. Someone was there to greet me as soon as I got out of my car and took care of everything. Worst service ever at this location and was clear that the person couldn’t be bothered to help me. Never go here. If you’re Going to a Mr. Tire in the Apex-Cary area, GO TO THE DAVIS LOCATION!

My engine light came on. I hadn’t had an oil change in forever was my first thought. My second thought was how much is this going to cost me. Mr Tire is within walking distance of my house. Though I’ve had many bad experiences before, I rationalized it’s just too convenient for me. The receptionist did tell me there would be a $265 diagnostic charge, and I said do the oil change and we can assess whether more needs done. 2 hours later I get a phone call saying it was indeed just an oil change and the cost would be $398. I asked “what happened to waiving the diagnostic fee?”. So they agreed with $113 for the oil change. Then they call me back an hour later that the vehicle was ready and the new story is $215. The reasoning was because they had to put the computer on the car to see why the engine light was on. “Oil change.” So she was never going to waive that fee. It was less of an agreement and more of a con job. Never again. Uber from a reputable mechanic is cheaper.

Let me be perfectly clear: I have never felt the need to write a review like this, but my experience at the Apex Mr. Tire was so egregious I feel compelled to warn others. I ordered tires online and had them shipped directly to this store for installation. When I arrived for my appointment, I was informed they couldn't install them for several days. As I needed my car, I politely requested to simply take my tires to a different shop. This is where the situation spiraled into insanity. The staff refused to release my tires to me. Their reasoning? Because the installation fee was pre-paid, the tires were essentially their property until they performed the service. I explicitly stated they could keep the installation fee; I just wanted the tires I had purchased and paid for. They still refused. I was now being held hostage—my property was being illegally withheld. My frustration turned to anger, as any reasonable person's would. The situation escalated to the point where I had no other recourse but to phone the police to intervene and help me reclaim my own property. Only after the police arrived did they finally relent and hand over my tires. As a final insult, after this entire ordeal that they created, the manager trespassed me from the property. To summarize: · They failed to provide the service I scheduled. · They illegally held my personal property hostage. · They refused a simple, money-losing solution (keeping the fee) to resolve the issue. · They forced a customer to involve law enforcement to get what they paid for. · They then punished me for their unprofessionalism by banning me. This is far beyond poor service; it is a fundamental failure of customer service, ethics, and basic logic. I would strongly advise anyone considering this location to look elsewhere. There are plenty of other shops that won't hold your property ransom and force you to call the police.

Had a great experience at Mr. Tire in Apex, NC on a Sunday. I came in on my spare after getting a flat on the way to church and they made the whole process so easy. They took my tire, patched it while I went out to lunch, and when I came back they quickly put the repaired tire back on my vehicle. Lis at the front desk was especially helpful and accommodating - friendly, efficient, and kind. Highly recommend this location if you need tire service or repairs!

Do not go to this location if you value your time/sanity/basic customer service. I went in for a simple safety inspection and tire rotation and my car ended up being in there half a week. They called and said they stripped a bolt that was crucial to the car running and told me they had to wait for a new one to come in. Everyone’s complaints about the pink haired girl Cassandra are spot on. She is very rude, offered no apology, and acted like I was the one inconveniencing her when I was then stuck taking Ubers to and from work the rest of the week. Maybe that’s how people are in South Florida where she’s from but that rudeness does not fly up here especially when being at the front desk in a customer service setting. She either needs more training or needs to find a different line of work away from directly interacting with customers. The only one who recognized how inconvenient this ordeal was and who actually apologized was Liz but unfortunately Liz is not there full time anymore and Cassandra is there screwing things up in her absence. So they finally get the part they need, I pick up the car and there is a loud rattling whenever I drive it. I give it a couple days but it’s still rattling so I take it back in to have them look at it. Unfortunately pink haired Cassandra is at the front desk and making snarky comments about how it shouldn’t be shaking on the side that I’m telling her it’s shaking on. A mechanic drives it around the parking lot and immediately hears the rattling, brings it back and fixes it and Cassandra hands me the keys, again no apology or any kind of customer service at all. About a week or so later I get notified that my safety inspection did not go through and as a result I would have to pay late fees to get my new registration. How could this be when the main thing I brought my car in to do on that first fateful day was to get the safety inspection? I take a look at the safety inspection paperwork Cassandra had handed me and it wasn’t even for my car, it was someone else’s of a completely different make and model car. So I once again drove back to Mr. Tire, go inside, pink haired Cassandra is there and tries to argue with me that even if the paperwork is wrong it still should have gone through and once again acting like I’m the one inconveniencing her. I then ask for a printout of the correct safety inspection paper for my car and she tries to tell me they can’t print out old ones that they’ve already done, which sounded like bs. Turns out it was bs because a mechanic then said yeah they can do that and went back in the office to print it. Turns out they can’t find a record of it because they never did it in the first place, (again this is the main thing I brought my car in for because it was due). So the mechanic rushes out and does a safety inspection really quick and hands me the correct paper this time and my keys and I walk out once again without any kind of apology from pink haired Cassandra. I now have to pay late fees to get my registration because of her screw up and yet she acted like I was the one inconveniencing her. Unacceptable and highly disappointing, have been using this Mr tire for years but has really gone downhill. One simple visit turned into a multiple week ordeal and many visits later to fix all of their mistakes that I am now paying late fees for.

I had a NC inspection, first time completed here. They charged a surcharge above inspection that others do not. When driving home, 2 yr old Genesis for first time ever began engine warning for over heating. When arrived home, antifreeze found all over engine and radiator cap unscrewed. I called the store, they asked me to return the vehicle for them to look over. I did not trust them to touch car again or feel safe to drive back. It is now at dealership to diagnose and repair anything found.
