.. this mechanic is really really good .. and his shop is so clean .. I just happened to stop there when I was looking for a smog check after another shop said it was not possible when I had a "check engine" light on.. he researched it and said he could do it .. passed no problem .. an honest guy who has studied auto technology and mechanics for five years .. he does everything except body work .. even tires .. for body work I recommend you go to Hilliard's Auto on Lafayette .. near the San Jose airport ..

Brought my first car here for some light maintenance, they have some good deals here sometimes. I got a full inspection with my oil change. Aside from getting a new filter, full synthetic oil, and disposal of the old (for the price of typical Synthetic oil), Son, also adjusted my brakes and answered my questions fully. The owner Son has been very helpful in getting my car repaired in the past. I didn't have much done at that time but he definitely met my expectations. Today I bought my vehicle in to get the A/C fixed, interior driver's door handle and rear differential fluid replaced. Hopefully the A/C just needs a recharge. I'll see how it goes after he calls me and says what's wrong.

I used to live next block to MS Auto Service. I went to get my oil changed. It was year end holiday time. I asked the owner (name is Son) will they be working through the holidays. He said his employees need rest, they work hard. That says something good about the owner. Ever since then I goto this auto service shop. One time my car broke and was not able to drive it. I asked geico to tow it to MS auto service . Left the key inside the car. I contacted the owner via phone and let him know that the tow company will drop off the car at his shop. After the drop off, he communicated to me by phone about the repair and costs and fixed it in a day. Then I went and took my car. Very good service price. Reliable. Honest owner.
