I will never go there again. They quoted me one price for a gas line leak then they call me and doubled the price telling me I needed a fuel pump it was working fine that’s how I got the vehicle there, didn’t show me the old fuel pump. I will post this online and recommend no one to go there ever, theywill just rob you blind.They just have friends and employees posting good reviews nothing good about them. It’s too bad because I have other work needing done, but it won’t go to them.

They took a part off someone’s car charged him full price he asked for his used part back they told him NO that he couldn’t have his part he called the place the parts come from they told him that Muffler Man took a $700 part from him

My dad's a car guy and loves this place. I do too! they do a great job for great prices often half of what other places would make you pay. I'm pretty sure this muffler man is family owned. I love their prices and service is great. If you need further details on anything they are helpful and can explain to you what's going on. Best place to get your car fixed!

Several people has said that they are scamming charging double on parts lying saying that a price is one than doubling it later on down the line the receipt says one thing but was charged another if you do not want you’re money played with please do not come here they do not care about you find somewhere else please save you’re money and time !!!!

I wouldn't recommend this muffler man to install dog collars. Went to have a motor installed and had to bring vehicle back 5 times before they fixed the problem. The front desk was coy and insulting. Mechanic came up with more issues which increased costs and the vehicle still didn't work. The lack of knowledge, workmanship, and professionalism for this muffler man is without amazement to say the least. I would score it a negative 10 if the option was available. Don't take a chance at this muffler man. You can do better yourself with a YouTube video on how to fix and repair.

Highly NOT recommend. I always have good experience with other MM locations but this one. I took my son's car in asking for an oil change, simple as that. After 1 hour, they came and told me his car needed more work. They pressured me into spending thousands to fix it despite me only asking for an oil change. I get it that these problems may be crucial, but I don't feel comfortable being asked to pay just so they can make some sales. Very unprofessional.

For ten years, I've trusted this establishment because they consistently provide excellent service and never oversell. I appreciate that level of integrity! The team deserves major praise. Dave is always friendly and incredibly patient when checking me in, even when suffering through my sad imitations of odd car sounds. Alan and Brent have also shown great patience and integrity when presented with potential vehicle issues. Pros: Their service is defined by honesty, speed, and deep knowledge. It's a high-quality pitstop experience, minus the NASCAR chaos! Cons: The only minor downside is that the hours of operation have been reduced (no longer open on Saturdays).

Idk what happened to them they use to be on the up and up now they’re doing shady business. Took a car in there for a battery issue they told me it was electrical was charged damn near $500 when it was indeed just a battery issue. As well as my truck had power steering problems paid $3,000 for repairs to only turn around and have my check engine light on while pulling out the parking lot. What use to be isn’t anymore in there. Point blank.

Ive been coming here since my first vehicle and that's been over 20 + years ... prices has changed but prices has changed on everything... little Debbie used to be 25 cent a small pack of gum 15 cent and a gallon of gas was .98 cent.... so one thing for sure they do a great job and I still have the same person today working on my vehicles when need ... I would come be here.....!!!!!!! before going somewhere that would have me broke down and spending extra money.....

I accidentally broke down in the parking lot next to this place. I don’t normally leave reviews. But I figured I would. This is a family owned business. With great people working there. The owner and Sara seem very honest. They even took the time to drive an hour when my truck was ready to get me. It’s really nice meeting good people. And my truck is back on the road. Thank you to all the staff and owners for being great people.

If I could give these guys a 0 star I would. Complete hacks. I’ve taken my truck in to get the muffler fix and they call me telling me my transfer case was bad and need to be replaced because it made a clunking noise when put into reverse. Told me it was gonna be $2500. I took it to another Mechanic and turned out, It only was the U joints. A couple hundred dollars. Then when they fix my muffler, I had to take it back two times because they kept leaving holes on their welds. So after that incident, I didn’t go back to them for about a year. So yesterday I was willing to give them another shot. I brought my vehicle in to get the power steering leak fixed. They told me it was the high-pressure line and a low pressure line and It costed me $500. When I immediately hopped in the vehicle, the whining of the power steering was still present. They did not bleed the air out of the lines, and insisted the sound would last a few days. Well, the next morning, my power steering fluid was completely bone dry. So even worse than the day before I took it in. Now they’re saying, I need a rack and pinion replaced as well as the pump and it’s gonna cost me an additional $1300 but they will “cut me a deal” and only charge $900. So in reality, with no “deal” This leak in my power steering would cost me $1800! So I’m taking it to my friends mechanic, and he’s only gonna charge me $200 bucks if I buy the parts. I mean complete hacks and I have no idea how these guys are in business. I am not the only person with terrible experience from these guys. I’ve heard many, many things from my friends and co workers. I tried to Tell them about my past experiences and that I only want a good experience from here on out, and the guy couldn’t even look at me in the eye. Completely ignored me. He couldn’t apologize and try to make me feel better, nothing. So don’t go here. I mean absolutely not. You will have better luck hiring your drunk cousin then this muffler man. The muffler man in frankenmuth is great. Also the one on the north side. These guys need training. And more importantly their prices are outrageous!!!!

I've been taking my cars here for service for over 40 years (since they were located on Covert Rd and Davison Rd). At that time they were custom bending exhaust pipes. Anyway, I've always found the prices reasonable and service fast and adequate. No fancy lounge for a waiting room but free coffee, a comfortable chair, and a TV to watch. Sometimes I walk down to Brother's Brunch House for some food while waiting.
