I had called earlier this morning and scheduled an appointment for 2pm to get my windows tinted. 1: Monica, was super polite told me pricing for the work and let me know the work will take about 2 hours. 1.75 hrs later my car was pulled out and delivered near the office. “ Do not use “ Tape was placed over my window buttons a instruction on the general care was left on my Info Center. The work performed was A+++. I know who I’ll be calling for any of my after warranty care. Nice to see professionalism and pride in work and happy faces. Thanks and God Bless

The team here is super great! I first came after my alternator went bad and AA was recommended to me by another shop who doesn’t work on foreign cars (I have a Lexus). They fixed it with no issues afterwards and I’ve been coming to them ever since. I’ve also had suspension work done, routine checks, etc. They’re always very attentive and appreciative of customer loyalty. Their work is always quality and pricing is honest which is exactly what you would want in a mechanic!

We met Hector at American Auto Works through friends of our family. We were looking for a used car for a to and from work car. He had what we were looking for to pay cash. He went above and beyond to make sure it was exactly what we were wanting and needed. He let us test drive it several times and if there were any issues he made sure that the issues were fixed and addressed. If it was complicated he saw it through until it was completely correct and solved. He also gave us a 1 year warranty on the transmission. He communicated great and had our best interest. There was trust and honesty which is what is needed for a loyal customer and business relationship. Loyalty is 10 times more payback in the long game. Trust, consistency, and a deeper relationship. It's built brick by brick.

Hector and his crew are the best. I picked up a 911 in Flint only to have the fuel pump fail. Since I was traveling back to Virginia and needed to be on the road they diagnosed and repaired it while I waited. Above and beyond my expectations. Owning an auto repair shop myself it reminds me that reasonable prices and excellent service are what makes it tick. Being on the other side of the counter I really appreciate them. Five Plus Stars

I met Hector March of 2024 for a loud exhaust and brake explosion. He completed the repairs. Then I needed to go back for air ride suspensions. The remarks I received while getting new tires were I can not believe the last mechanic allowed you to drive like this. I took it back constantly for the same issue it was never fixed properly. But each time he found a way to charge me with the extent of payment plans once. Except the last time when I refused to pay him. I found a new mechanic who has listed that the issues I state were fixed by Hector were not completed. It is now fixed . Just redoing the screw up these guys did. May God bless.I do not recommend.

As a mom of 4 kids safety is my priority. Most places you walk into they tell you what's wrong and tell you a ridiculous price. Didn't even know that was an issue kind of quote. Walked into this shop and greeted with smiles. The customer service there is exceptional. Hector doesn't beat around the bush and be money hungry. He told me what was going on and actually talked to me as a human being rather than another commission he made. I highly recommend American Auto Works. Safety and reasonable prices is what makes this place a go to for everyone!!!

I am extremely disappointed with this company’s customer service and lack of accountability. I paid $700 to have my brand new Tahoe tinted, and from the moment I picked it up, there were issues. I immediately pointed out hair trapped in the windshield tint, and I was told it was “just an air bubble” and to give it a few weeks. Two weeks later, nothing improved. I brought the vehicle back and not only was the windshield still defective, but my front window had air bubbles and a chip, and both back windows were peeling—on windows that don’t even roll down. They admitted they would redo the front window, but refused to redo the windshield or issue a refund, despite the fact that I reported the issue the very day I picked up the vehicle. I even reminded them that the call from that day was recorded. Still, no accountability. For a company charging premium prices, this level of customer service is unacceptable. The unwillingness to stand behind their work—especially on a brand new vehicle—is disturbing. I would not recommend this business.

They have a great service! My wife got into a car accident and they worked with me to find the most cost effective way to get the car repaired. While insurance covered the majority of the repair, the team, Angie and Hector, also found additional problems to make sure the car would perform and look the same way it did before the accident. They are just great people that understand that repairs are expensive but know how to prioritize safety while managing cost! They also work on everything, literally everything!
