Thank you Nationwide and Lee. As a small business owner, I greatly appreciate it when another business owner works with me to limit downtime on a vehicle which in turn limits downtime to my business. My experience was a best case scenario for a situation that I wasn’t happy about being in ( is anyone happy when they need a major repair?) and that is all I can ask/ hope for.

I have used and recommended Nationwide for years but not anymore. Nationwide rebuilt my Jeep trans and it had a catastrophic failure after 20K miles. Had it towed to them and after three weeks I got it back along with a $3,500 bill. Original rebuild was out of warranty due to time, so I asked if they would give me any concession due to the low mileage on rebuild. The guy behind the counter just looked at me a slapped the bill down on the counter.

I do not recommend no one taking their transmission to NATIONWIDE TRANSMISSION in Tallahassee. They have the worst customer service department and the so called mechanics have no idea what they are doing. I dropped my truck off with them and told them it was over heating but the transmission was working fine they told me that they would have it figured out in a few days. Later that week they called me an said I needed a transmission rebuild I then asked him "if they were to rebuild it, would it stop over heating?" he advised me it would. I then asked "what is the reason for it over heating?" he then said probably the trans. pump went out. When I go to pick it up it's still doing the exact same thing it was doing before I took it to them, I called them an they told me to bring it back in, they then called a week later an said its the radiators an said they would not fix it because they didn't have the truck and they done a bench rebuild. I'm sure it was the clogged radiator in the first place now its costing me 6,000 dollars an still not running.

I brought my Jeep into Nationwide Transmission to have it re-geared after confirming with them the day before that they could handle the job. Unfortunately, my experience was one of the most unprofessional encounters I've ever had with an auto shop. When I arrived, the first thing the employee said was that he "wasn’t sure if they could get to it today," despite me having a scheduled appointment. This was already concerning, but I parked the Jeep, filled out some paperwork, and left, assuming they would proceed with the work as planned. Shortly after, I received a call from the shop asking about a "key" or "wheel locks" to remove my tires. I explained multiple times that my Jeep has spline lugs and not locking lug nuts, and there was no "key" needed. I even pointed out that there were tools in the back seat they could use. Despite this, the employee insisted that I provide a key that simply doesn’t exist. To make matters worse, their story kept changing. They went from telling me I needed a "key" for wheel locks (which my Jeep doesn’t have) to saying I needed to purchase wheel locks, and then ultimately told me to just come pick up my Jeep because they weren’t going to do the work. At no point were they clear about what they actually needed, which made it impossible for me to rectify the situation. Even so, I tried to offer solutions. I suggested that if they were missing a tool, they could check the auto parts store literally next door, and I even offered to pay for the tool if that was the issue. Instead of being willing to work toward a resolution, they rudely shut me down and told me, "How about you come pick up your vehicle then?" This entire experience was a complete waste of time and money. The shop demonstrated a lack of basic knowledge about standard lug nuts, poor communication, and absolutely no customer service. If they were confused or unable to complete the job, they could have admitted it instead of escalating the situation and refusing service outright. I cannot recommend Nationwide Transmission to anyone based on this experience. If you value professionalism, respect, and basic competence, look elsewhere.

I recently had my 2019 Ford Transit 350HD conversion van serviced for a rear differential rebuild. I called ahead to confirm if they could take a look at my van, which was making a humming noise that was hard to pinpoint. They told me to bring it in on Wednesday morning. I dropped it off at 8:00 AM and received a call around 10:00 AM informing me that the rear differential needed to be rebuilt. After diagnosing the van, they asked me to pick it up and bring it back once the parts arrived. I got a call on Friday afternoon letting me know the parts had arrived. I dropped off the van last Monday and got it back Tuesday morning. This is the first time I didn't need to call for a status update. Great service!

Transmission went out on long trip from Ft Myers to Destin in my 06 Cummins. I called Parkway Wrecker service who was awesome as well and they got me there before they closed, I requested the transmission be done at first and then the transfer case after about a week, Jeff and Lee were both super helpful and patient with competitive pricing and I’d highly recommend giving them a call before committing anywhere else when it comes to transmission work

They found nothing wrong with my vehicle and we're honest about it and didn't charge me anything for checking it out. I'm glad there was nothing wrong with it but I will use them and recommend them in the future if I do have a transmission problem. Thanks Jeff and your guys for your honesty and courtesy 👍

Guys up there were awesome, dropped my car off because my torque converter was acting up due to a bad battery and I wanted to make sure it didn’t cause damage to the transmission. They were honest about there being no issues with the transmission and didn’t even charge me. Very pleasant to work with.

My Toyota had been acting up… My mechanic recommend having the transmission tested… I called another local transmission shop and they couldn’t even see me for 3+ weeks… I needed to get the car checked immediately though… I called Nationwide and they told me they could work me in and to drop it off in the morning which I did… They thoroughly tested it and let me know I did not need any transmission work thankfully… They treated me very well and were super friendly and didn’t even charge me for the test… I hope I never need transmission work but if I do, I will go straight to Nationwide… Jeff did a great job helping me out…

Very very pleased with them and their neighbor Bass Auto Repair. I thought I had a transmission problem but after they reviewed it, they shot me straight and told me it wasn’t my transmission that was messed up. Honesty and integrity at its finest. Jeff was friendly and knowledgeable. And to top it off, I only paid $65 bucks for the diagnosis (Kia wanted to charge me $215!)

I had my transmission rebuilt about two and a half years ago by Nationwide Transmission. I recently began experiencing issues again, I had my vehicle towed back to their shop. After diagnosing it, they informed me that I needed another full transmission rebuild. I decided to get a second opinion and had the vehicle towed to a different shop. They found the issue was simply a four-pronged plug that had come loose. Once it was reconnected, the vehicle ran perfectly fine. Had I not sought a second opinion, I would have been out $2,000–$3,000 for an unnecessary transmission rebuild. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this shop.

Based on the way my car was running it seemed as if the transmission was failing. I took my car to Nationwide transmission with the mindset that I needed the transmission replaced. Jeff whom I was dealing with called me the next day with great news infomimg me that the transmission is fine but the ignition system was the source of the problem. Thank you Jeff for your honesty and professionalism.
