I have been a customer of natomas automotive and have referred several people. I have had alternator issues for a few years not an issue with price I think I’m on my 3rd one now for my 2006 ranger @ this place this last time however it ran me 720.00 to fix. Friends and family are not happy with this price. So I called the ford dealership. And it would be 550.00 so I will be taking my baby there instead. Although they are nice and clean. And Mavis is an absolute gem. I don’t feel they need to run diagnostics on everything every time I bring it in. I had it in there awhile back I paid around 3500.00 and they didn’t even do an oil change WHAT. I called mavis because the oil light came on she looked it up and informed me they never did an oil change on this truck. WHAT IM AT A LOSS OF TRUST AND MONEY. He put a 418.00 alternator in a 2006 ranger. WHAT WHAT WHAT

I came in to see if they could fix some belts on my Mazda CX-5. My needs were a little nebulous, because I didn't know exactly what needed to be done with the car. Nevertheless , the team at Natomas Automotive was super friendly and helpful! They gave me a really reasonable quote on the estimated service, and they gave me a ride back to my house while I waited for my car to get serviced. In the end, the work was done really quickly and only a minimal add-on was included in the order, after they called me about it. Their shop is super clean and easy to access. If I had to wait, it would not be a bad place to do so. Thanks to Red and the team at Natomas Automotive. If I wasn't moving to Folsom, I would make this my primary service center!

Twice now these professionals have assisted me with diagnostic work and hands on. Both times. Exceptional care. Prices will be upfront and nothing is hidden. My suggestion to others seeking a place that will not steal from you or try to play pretend with your vehicle and pocket book. Here is a very decent place to start! Going in for a third time and not regretting my decision.

I called Singh from the side of the road a few years ago, I'd burned out yet another clutch and apparently destroyed my flywheel as well. Since then, I've only ever brought my vehicles to Natomas Automotive, and I've always had a great experience. Rapid repairs, great communication, and friendly staff. They have a customer for life.

First time in ,customer service was great, clean lobby, they did what we needed them to do. And provided paper work for the Ford dealership, so they can replace or repair. I would come back anytime if I had another issue with the car. All staff that I met were very professional.

It was 4:30 AM, I had just started a long drive with my cat to Los Angeles when 20 minutes into this adventure the ORANGE tire warning light illuminated my dash. I got off the freeway….it was dark, but I found a well lit safe location to evaluate the situation. There it was - a screw deep in the tread of one tire. AAA referred me to Natomas Automotive, just 2 miles from where the cat and I got off the freeway. The tire was inflated enough to make the 2 mile journey. The shop did not open until 7:30 AM. The cat & I waited outside Natomas Automotive for an hour and a half. At 7:20 AM, a well dressed gentleman with a nice smile approached the shop, so I got out of my car to greet him. The gentleman was Singh. I asked Singh if they repair tires and he said they do, but the workers do not come in until 8AM. I thought to myself, what’s another half hour and this man is so pleasant! I told him of my unfortunate situation - just starting a road trip to LA with a cat. Singh was fantastic - he offered me coffee and said he would have my tire looked at first. He even said they would check the oil etc since I was driving to LA. Singh let me bring the cat (in a crate) into the shop while his dedicated workers fixed my tire. While I waited, I watched Singh communicate with two other customers - he was so personable and took genuine interest in each person’s specific matter. To top it off Singh did not charge me for the tire repair or looking at the fluids. What a nice gesture. I am happy to say the cat & I made it to our destination. I wish I lived closer to this shop because I would definitely bring my car here. Thank you Singh!!! The End 😀

Not a very friendly business. Please avoid. The owner charged me $100 storage per day and quoted the car had a ridiculous price of $4,000. I will never come back here again nor will I ever recommend anyone coming here to get their car fixed. The business owner is a horrible person.

My experience with Natomas Automotive has always been excellent! I've been several times and taken two different trucks there for repair and/or routine maintenance, and every time the service has been stellar. On the most recent visit, I took my truck for service after another repair shop had made a mistake that caused the engine to run rough and triggered the engine light. The other shop's attitude was very dismissive — and when they weren't willing to look at the truck for at least a week, I called Natomas Automotive. Natomas Automotive offered to look at the next morning, diagnosed the problem, and fixed it right away. I am grateful for their willingness to help in this situation, and I am committed to returning to Natomas Automotive whenever I need service in the future.

Called this morning at 745. Talked to Red. Told him I had a maintenance light on, car is due for oil change and tire rotation. He got me in at 830. Out the door before 10. Great service. Great price. Thanks for keeping the ‘09 Camry running.

I was in the area for an appointment but when I got in my car to drive home, my tire pressure alert came on and it was falling. Not wanting to wait on AAA, i googled tire repair shops near me, and this place was only a mile away. I showed up, told them my situation and they said no problem they'll take a look at it for me. They then showed me the screw they pulled from my tire and said they were able to repair it so I could get home safely. They were so friendly to me and i was back on the road in less than 20 minutes! I'm grateful to have found this shop and will definitely return if ever need be.

I hit a pothole hard on the way to work and my car started rattling. Fortunately I was close to work and was able to drive and park. I looked up the closest auto repair shop and saw that Natomas automotive had great reviews, so I called and asked if I could bring my car in for a quick inspection during my lunch break. They were very nice on the phone and in person when I arrived. They put the car up on the lift and made sure the tires, rims, and everything were secure and safe to drive. They speculated it was probably the axel and recommended I get it fixed ASAP. Since I live far from work, I ended up driving my car to a mechanic near my home since the repair would take more than a day and I needed to pick up my kids from preschool and rent a car. They didn't charge me for the inspection, so I wanted to leave them a positive review to support their business since it's the least that I can do for their time and service.

First of all they have a coupon out for a smog check for 69.95 I called to ask if my vehicle could be used with there coupon. Was told yes on the phone. Two days later I walk in for the smog test and was told coupon would not work with my vehicle and the smog test would be 158.20 with certificate. Than I told them I was a aaa member and was given 15.00 off. Went down the road got a smog check done with certificate for only 109.00 out the door. Save your self some money and shop around.

Do not go to this place is the worst place. He tried to Jack us by messing with our engine. Do not go to Singh... Natomas auto ... I knew him in Northgate. Do not go there... He will mess with your engine after fixing something. And before you know it, you have to go back

The best! Honest, kind, caring, fun to talk with. A very human group of people running the shop. Highly recommend. My van died north of Sac. They diagnosed and changed the fuel pump within 4 hours.

On December 10, 2025, I brought my 2013 Mercedes-Benz C250 to Natomas Automotive because the vehicle would not start even after the battery had been replaced. I called twice that day for updates. During the first call, I was told the technician was still diagnosing the issue. During the second call, right before closing, I was informed that the technician suspected the issue might be the Electronic Steering Lock (ESL) and that the diagnosis would be confirmed the following morning. On December 11, 2025, Rene called and confirmed that the ESL had failed. He quoted me $1,395 to fix the issue. When I asked what “fix” meant, he explained that the cost was for repairing the ESL, not replacing it. He stated that, in their experience, replacement ESL units often fail again within a year, which is why they prefer to repair the existing unit. I told him I needed time to consider the repair before approving it. During that time, I contacted several reputable automotive shops in the area to compare pricing. Multiple shops informed me that $1,395 is typically the cost to install a brand-new ESL, not to repair an existing one. I then called Natomas Automotive back and spoke with Rene. I explained that other shops had quoted similar pricing for a new ESL and that I was not comfortable paying that amount for a repair. At that point, Rene stated that, in addition to repairing the ESL, they would also replace the ignition component, explaining that in their experience the ignition often fails after ESL repairs. Based on that explanation, I asked whether the price could be adjusted and what warranty would be included. Rene told me the warranty would be 12 months or approximately 20,000 miles. He also mentioned that the individual performing the repair had to travel to their shop, which was why he initially did not believe the price could be reduced. Later that same day, Rene called back and offered a final price of $1,279 out the door, stating that this amount included the 10 percent AAA discount. I approved the repair only because I was told the work included both the ESL repair and replacement of the ignition component. Without the inclusion of the ignition replacement, the price would not have been reasonable, and I would have taken my vehicle elsewhere. When I picked up the vehicle on December 12, 2025, I reviewed the invoice and noticed that the ignition component was not listed anywhere on the receipt. I immediately asked Rene why the ignition replacement was not included. He then stated that I had “misunderstood” what was discussed. This is not accurate. I approved the $1,279 price specifically because both repairs were represented as being included. If I had known the ignition key was not included as originally stated, I would not have agreed to pay a repair price that was equivalent to the cost of installing a brand-new (ESL) Electronic Steering Lock. I only approved the repair because I was told additional work would be performed. My takeaway: Always obtain the full scope of work in writing before approving any automotive repair.

Singh is an honest man. If there is a quick fix or no need for parts replacement he will go out of his way to save you from any trouble. Autozone twice told me I needed a new alternator but singh found no issues and did not charge me anything. Car has been running fine with no issues.

The manager of this shop is very kind, generous, and honest. Several years ago, my parents 2003 Camry had shut down in the middle of the road during high traffic time. We took it to one repair shop, and they couldn't figure out was wrong. My mother decided to try Natomas Automotive, and they figured out the problem. Water coolant was put into the engine oil reservoir and seeped through the entire engine. Fast forward to now, ironically my parents' current car was having trouble with the coolant reservoir. I had a diagnostic done from another auto shop and wanted a second opinion. I remembered Natomas Automotive and came here. The manager walked outside and inspected the car himself and gave me a more thorough and detailed explanation of the diagnostic report I received from other auto shop. He gave me assurance to keep driving the car and do a regular maintenance before making a big decision to get the entire head gasket replaced, which would cost minimum $2600.00 as quoted from other auto shop. I highly recommend them if you are looking for a great customer experience, honest assessment, peace of mind, and in my case a second opinion.

Highly recommend if you are in need of a shop in the area. I look for shops that are reputable, have good reviews, and been in business for many years. I return to a shop after I have had a good experience. The owner/manager and the staff of this shop are very kind, honest and competent. I have taken my jeep here for about a year because well its a jeep thats 10 years old, haha. The staff are communicative, clean, detailed with their diagnosis and transparent. Pricing is fair and I think they are a good rate for labor and parts. They even follow-up after repairs to check-in and make sure my vehicle is running well and the issue has been resolved.
