Our daughter’s car was towed in from a highway breakdown last minute. Alan and his crew were great at communicating with us about what might be the issue and also were exceptionally helpful when we decided to transport the vehicle back home as it looked to be pretty much a loss. I can tell you it is always worrisome when your daughter is far away from home at college and has auto issues. You never know who might take advantage of that situation. Alan and the team at Nolan’s could not have been more honest and genuine and I would recommend them to anyone in the Syracuse area. As we say here in Upstate, NY. They are just good people. Kathy.

Alan and his crew have worked on my car a number of times and they always do a phenomenal job. My car is getting up there in age (2005) and parts have become more and more difficult to find, but the team at Nolan’s always works diligently to find them and installs them with a really quick turn around. I am always communicated with about the repairs being done on the car, and the team always gives me an estimated cost of repair prior to doing any work on my vehicle. The most recent time that I brought the car into the shop, I had water puddling on the passenger side floor, that I suspected was a result of a failing door seal. Alan was able to rule this out as well as alternatives (crack in windshield, etc.) and spent around 20 minutes with me AFTER they had finished working on my car and closed the shop for the weekend to diagnose the issue, and was able to refer me to an auto glass shop for the repair as it ended up being my sunroof. If you are searching for an honest and trustworthy mechanic in the Syracuse area, look no further!

This is by far one of the best shops in Syracuse. It’s family owned and the owner really believes in providing the best experience for every customer. I’ve had plenty of service completed at other shops where they will try to nickel and dime you for everything you have. Nolan’s is not one of these places, everyone here is transparent about what work needs to be completed urgently and what can be put off. I can’t recommend this place enough.

For the Love of Cards
I bought a 2013 Toyota Rav4 from these guys. I bought it sight unseen. When I got there to pick it up, the power trunk struts were blown. Not a huge deal as I had them put non-power struts in place which they agreed to do. Upon driving it home I notice a shake in the car at 40+ MPH, chatter in the transmission, glove box wouldnt open and a bad parking brake. I brought it back to them and they made some corrections. They put a new driveshaft in to fix the Ujoint that was bad, fixed the parking brake and also the glovebox. I told the owner it had chatter in the transmission and he said it was the ujoint that will fix it. Well, thats not the case and driving an hour each way is not easy. Moral of the story, drive before you buy. They made a few things right. They need to pay a little more attention to detail and maybe get some new mechanics that can actually pin point issues. I feel a 3 star is fair for my experience. If the transmission was fixed upon me picking it back up yesterday, this would have been a 5 Star for fixing all the issues.

When I first found the listing for my car on Facebook the owner Josh called me right away. He talked in depth about the car, how it drove and gave all the information as far as what had been done to it for maintenance. I purchased the car and waved good bye. About a week later a few lights came on the dash. I called, the staff were great, super informative and listened as I explained the issue I was having. Nolan’s invited me to bring it in and they checked things over, added some extra fluids and said to call if any further issues arise. Any time I have a question about the car they take my call. The customer service is excellent but most of all, Nolan’s handle customers with the highest regard. They stay calm, are reassuring and listen. It has been a pleasure working with them. I highly recommend Nolan’s Car Care if you are looking to purchase a used car. They are knowledgeable, super friendly and stand behind their cars. If I could give them 100 stars I would!

I just recently bought a 2016 Subaru from Nolan’s Car Care and honestly couldn’t be happier with the experience. What stood out right away was that they’re family-owned, offered a great price, and really worked with me through every step. Everything was on time, easy to understand, and super straightforward. You can tell they only sell good, reliable vehicles, which to me is a huge green flag. Josh took great care of me—he stayed on top of everything and made sure all my questions were answered fast. The price was already solid, but he still worked with me to make it even more affordable, which I really appreciated. The car itself is awesome. Drives smooth, super clean inside and out, and I haven’t had a single issue. I’ve already recommended Nolan’s to people I know, and I’ll definitely keep doing that.
