First time buyer, sales dept and finance dept were pretty good I must say. However two wks later on a 2026 Honda civic hybrid, I get an alert message stating “emission system problem, check with your dealer” I make an appt bring in the car for to have it checked, the staff member by the name of George Juarez comes and ask what the issue is I show him the censor light on the dashboard walk with him to his desk and he like “btw it’s gonna be like a 5 hour wait, I said wow even with an appt by this time he was already raising his voice then he says YOU’RE NO MORE IMPORTANT THAN ANYONE ELSE” my point here is how to handle an approach with a profesional manner and not argue back with a customer that just a purchase a brand new car with issues in under a month, I follow up with supervisor by the name of MICHAEL and pretty much matches the sarcasm within all the service dept, meh .😑

Had such an amazing experience at Honda in Cerritos this weekend. Our salesman John French was so kind and genuine while helping us purchase our new Honda Pilot. He was very knowledgeable and able to answer all our questions when we were comparing models and trims. He was very honest and made the process very transparent. It can be so intimidating walking into a car dealership, but John made it very positive. Will definitely work with him again and recommend him to friends and family.

Had a great experience. When we first arrived, they opened 4 cars for me to look over and walked away: they didn't hover around or rush me. When I went for a test drive, the salesperson gave great information. I went on test drives elsewhere, and the salespeople were quiet: they didn't offer any information without my asking. That was not the case here. I also drove away in my new car the day I signed the papers: they washed and prepped it while I was signing, so I didn't have to come back another day. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised by the experience!

I am extremely disappointed with the financing department at Norm Reeves Honda Superstore and the handling of my cancellation request. I signed an official Customer Cancellation Form on 11/12/2025 for my 2025 Honda Ridgeline, clearly stating that the mileage at the time of cancellation was 4,200 miles. The document was properly completed and signed. However, despite having this signed form, Marlen Chavez from the finance department sent incorrect information to the cancellation company, claiming that my vehicle had 311,000 miles at the time of cancellation. This is not a small clerical error. My truck is practically new and had 4,200 miles, yet the cancellation department was repeatedly told that it had 311,000 miles. That kind of misinformation could seriously affect the processing of a refund and delay the cancellation of service contracts. Even worse, the incorrect mileage was communicated multiple times, despite the signed cancellation document clearly showing the correct mileage. Because of this situation I experienced: • unnecessary delays • repeated back and forth with the cancellation company • stress and panic over whether my cancellation would even be honored • frustration from having to correct an error that should never have happened This situation raises serious concerns about the competence and professionalism of the finance department. Either the documentation was never properly reviewed, or inaccurate information was sent without verification. Customers should not have to fight to correct basic information that was already provided in writing. I sincerely hope management reviews this situation and improves their internal processes so that other customers do not have to go through the same experience.

After having a HORRIBLE experience with a certain KIA dealer north of us, we totally lost all trust in car dealerships. Quite by accident, we stopped at the above Honda dealer in Port Charlotte. What a joyful experience! Luis Tablada went above & beyond the call of duty, he treated us with the utmost respect, politely listened to everything we had to say and then showed us a plethora of cars until we found just our perfect fit! ⭐ Review for Norm Reeves Honda Cerritos I had an amazing experience at Norm Reeves Honda Cerritos thanks to Crystal, Aaron Perez, and Abe Valdez. I came in with an issue on my 2023 HR-V involving the Honda Sensing safety systems, and all three of them went above and beyond to help me. They listened to my concerns, explained everything clearly, and made sure the issue was taken care of at no cost, even though my warranty had expired by time. I want to start by saying the car-buying experience itself was genuinely enjoyable. The sales team was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole process feel easy and pressure-free. I walked out happy with my vehicle and the deal I got — until I sat down with the finance manager. This is where things went south. Before entering the finance office, I made it explicitly clear that I did not want any add-ons or optional packages — specifically, I declined the wear and tear protection. Despite my clear and repeated objection, Finance Manager Choi added it to my contract anyway. When I noticed and asked him to remove it, he told me it wouldn't change my monthly payment — which was a lie. I felt deceived and manipulated at what should have been the finish line of an otherwise great experience. He used a misleading statement to discourage me from pushing back, and I was left paying for something I never wanted. I was ultimately able to cancel the wear and tear protection within 60 days of purchase, which did in fact affect my loan terms — proving his claim was simply not true. Customers trust that the numbers in front of them reflect what they agreed to — not what a finance manager decided to sneak in after the fact. This kind of practice is exactly what gives car dealerships a bad reputation. I would recommend this dealership for the sales side, but urge anyone heading into the finance office to review every line item carefully before signing anything, and don't let anyone discourage you from removing something you didn't ask for.

I’m writing to share serious concerns regarding a recent service visit. I will also be posting this publicly so that future customers are aware of my experience. I brought my vehicle in for a complimentary oil change, since I purchased the car from your dealership. What should have been a simple visit became a frustrating and ultimately unsafe experience. At my first scheduled appointment, I arrived on time and was told it would take two hours for an oil change. I was offered an alignment and a $30 tire rotation. Because I couldn’t wait two hours, the service writer scheduled me for a second appointment. When I arrived for the second appointment, the same tire rotation had suddenly increased to $75, and I was now being offered additional services that were never mentioned the first time. I was told the $75 rotation included a brake inspection and cleaning, though brake inspections are typically included with an oil change. I declined all additional services and agreed only to the $30 tire rotation. After waiting approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes, I approached the service writer to check on the status of my vehicle. Without looking up from his phone, he slid my paperwork and keys across the counter toward me, pointed in the general direction of the parking lot, and said, “Your car is over there on the right.” There was no eye contact, no recap of services performed, and no mention of any issues with the vehicle. The next morning on my way to work, I heard a loud noise and discovered that my metal skid plate was hanging and dragging on the ground. I had no way to fix it on the spot, so I had to leave my car in a parking lot and take an Uber to work—costing me time and money. Later, my husband secured the skid plate with zip ties and contacted the dealership. He was told that I had declined all services and that a video had been sent showing the loose skid plate. My husband—who was at work without phone access—received the video, but I was never informed of any issue while I was at the dealership. When I dropped the vehicle off, I made it clear that the number on file was my husband’s and provided my own, yet no one attempted to contact me about a safety concern. I was allowed to drive away in an unsafe vehicle, with no explanation, no warning, and no basic courtesy from the service writer. This is extremely disappointing, especially considering that my vehicle purchase from your dealership was a positive experience. Unfortunately, based on this visit, I will not be returning for service or for future vehicle purchases. I hope management takes this seriously. No customer should be allowed to leave your service department with an unsafe vehicle—or be treated with such disregard. If I could give “negative” stars, I would.
