I received great customer service and my sales guy always followed up with me. This is the best car dealership I've ever dealt with. Please keep up the great work.

On 8/23 I had to take my suv for an unexpected mechanical problem. Not only the lady who answered the phone that day provided me a great customer service but helped me into getting my car serviced. As I arrived to the service area Spencer as well provided me with an excellent service and made my problem more at ease. I really felt like they care about me as a customer. My car was ready in a couple of days and I really appreciate it. I would definitely recommend them.

Amazing experience at VW Cerritos!! I came in on a very short notice and prior to the store closing but James and his team prioritized my urgent need and were still able to service my vehicle with no hesitation. Will definitely be coming back for future services.

Alex (Sales) and Theo (Finance) were incredible! Super friendly and kind. Alex was very communicative and prompt. When I was ready to come in to actually buy the car he made the process very smooth and simple. Alex even went out of his way to help me get my car home since I didn't have someone with me. Thank you for such an easy process, you guys were amazing!

service advisors take zero accountability and want to brush off major issues with my vehicle every-time I take it here. Been here multiple times over the last year about my vehicle losing power randomly while driving and they don’t want to look at it. Terrible customer service.

I had a good experience with McKenna today which you normally don’t get from a dealership. Spencer was informative and kept me updated with the service that I had come in for. I see myself returning here again.

Would give negative stars if I could… I want to start off by saying Jimmy/James was amazing. Other than that…. Avoid this dealership at all costs. This dealership engages in bait and switch tactics and won’t honor pricing. You’re guaranteed to feel like you’ve been scammed. Don’t expect any pricing advertised online to be honored, the Sales Manager will say the pricing doesn’t include certain “drive off fees” even though their disclaimer clearly states all those fees are included.

We would like to thank the following: Shane, Fernando, Sherri & Robert for going above and beyond & making it a professional & pleasant experience at McKenna Cerritos. We totally love the EV experience as this is our first EV vehicle. Kudos to Fernando for his knowledge & expertise with EV VW that peeked our interest & lead us in this blessed direction. Thank you Shane & Robert for crunching the numbers & Sherri for wrapping it all together & giving us peace of mind with the leasing options. Thanks again! You have a customer for life!! Worst experience ever. This is my second time to have such a bad experience with this specific dealer. Today I dropped off the car at 8 in the morning for oil change. I called at 1 pm to see if the car is ready so I can pick it up on time and go pick up my kids from school and the service advisor said that they need more time and actually the car has not here touched from 8 am until 1:30 pm So I asked for courtesy car and when he asked me what insurance company I have I said I have Tesla insurance and surprisingly he said sorry we can’t give you a loaner because we don’t work with Tesla insurance which was very weird for me and disrespectfully said that I can just pick up the car without any work done since I can’t wait and I actually picked up the car at 2 pm without any work done. So the car has been sitting there from 8 am to 2 pm untouched. I spoke with the service manager and he still did not have any clear explanation of what was the reason behind that delay. I don’t recommend this dealership at all and don’t trust it Don’t use it for your car service

My service advisor’s name was Daniel. I recently had a costly repair done to my atlas. Initial repair did not completely fix the problem so I had to bring it back again. This entire process was made very easy with constant communication from Daniel. Immediate service loaner was supplied, so there was really no inconvenience and the repairs are completed And I’m back with my car. Daniels Service is definitely a five star representation of Mckenna Volkswagen in Cerritos.

If I could give this place 0 Stars I would. These people dont understand the concept of "negotiating" I have sat through and purchased many cars in my 62 years of life. So when I came over here and told them my price expecting them to meet in the middle they told me to get out and the guy angerly walked away. I felt so low as if I was worth nothing the way he dismissed me and my Husband. So I left and drove off to Timmons VW and we signed a deal for an I.D. 4 the same day.

Came in for a recall item (fsulty intake manifold) so far costing me $270 for them to look at recall issue. Now calling it a Tech Bulletin. So will cost me even more! It has now been 3 DAYS! Car is still with dealer. After I provided a snapshot of the warranty indicating the R/R of the intake manifold is covered, and called 3 times throughtout the day, i get a voice mesage from the person at the dealer Aisleen saying she's found a way to have the R/R covered under waranty. Oh, the dealer had sent a video of a 120 point inspection of the car. NOTE at NO time during this video inspection is any mention of rough idle or a potential gas leak ( the car was running fine. No rough idle, no leaks, just the engine light for the intake manifold had come on). Today, day 3 after hearing NOTHING from the dealership and knowing it closes at 3pm today, I called them againabout 2:30pm. This time I speak with Daniel who tells me that the car is in bad shape!!! Can't hold an idle and needs a "high pressure fuel pump"!!!!! Are you kidding me????? NOTHING WAS WRONG WITH THE CAR. IT WAS RUNNING, IDLEING PERFECT. Now it is 2:50pm and Daniel calls back to say I need to wait until Monday (another 2 days!) To speak with the service Manager!!! No offer for a loaner car, I am just car less now for 5 days! I am still waiting for assistance in this matter from McKenna VW dealership in Cerritos, Ca.

I recently had my car repaired at McKenna VW and the service was excellent. My advisor Spencer Allison went above and beyond making it a positive. I am grateful for the quality I received at McKenna VW, they are a great team!

Had a great experience at VW/Volvo Cerritos. Jimmy P probably has to be the coolest, non-pressure, laid back salesman I have dealt with. He allowed ample time for my family and I (3 wild kids) to get familiar with the vehicle and showed no hesitation w/ my multiple requested test drives. For those seeking a non-pressure, stress-free experience, I'd highly recommend requesting for Jimmy P.

I’m extremely disappointed with my experience at Cerritos VW. I purchased a 2025 Atlas SEL Premium R-Line, excited to finally get a top-tier trim—only to discover the AC didn’t work properly from day one the second I drove off the lot. For a brand-new car, that’s completely unacceptable. What made the situation even worse was the dealership’s response. Instead of taking responsibility or showing any urgency to make things right, they essentially shrugged it off and told me to “just go through the manufacturer warranty.” No apology, no effort to reassure me, no sense of accountability—just a flat hand-off. Their Finance Manager Jeff and the General Manager took no accountability not even a good-will adjustment. To make things worse it seems they had previously sold my car which activated all subscriptions and warranty’s on my vehicle since June 29,2025 but I bought my car “New” on November 5, 2025. They have claimed they would correct my subscriptions and warrantied to November but two weeks have passed and nothing has been corrected. At this point not even returning my emails or calls. When you spend this much money on a new vehicle, you expect the dealership to stand behind what they sell. Instead, I felt ignored and brushed aside. I didn’t spend all this money to immediately deal with repairs and runaround. I regret purchasing from Cerritos VW and would caution anyone thinking about buying here to be prepared for zero support once they’ve made the sale.

My experience with this dealership was honestly amazing. Everyone was great; from management (Robert) to finance (Joe) to my first contact in sales (Jimmy). They were competent, friendly, and eager to make the process of leasing a car as quick and easy as possible. Would definitely recommend this spot!

What should have been a straightforward AC repair turned into a months-long nightmare. Service Manager correctly diagnosed my evaporator coil leak but made a coercive offer: better "goodwill" pricing only if I purchased unrelated tires. Feeling pressured, I accepted. After the AC repair, they scratched my windshield during dash removal. They replaced it, but returned my freshly-detailed car with: Torn headliner upholstery Adhesive/sealant overspray throughout interior Scratches on the NEW windshield Parts still unsnapped The third-party upholstery repair they arranged was poorly done and doesn't match the original texture. I brought them a meticulously maintained, showroom-condition vehicle. They returned it damaged multiple times. Tying major repairs to unnecessary purchases is unethical. Returning vehicles in worse condition than received is unacceptable. I've lost all trust in McKenna Volkswagen and may never buy a VW again.

Straightforward buying experience, good value, nice reps. I bought a 2025 Taos, and was pleasantly surprised at the process. I've had challenges in the past at other places, but here there was no hard sell, no deceptive attempts to tack on extra services. Jimmy Pigneri was an excellent sales rep to deal with, and the finance guy (Joe?) was also good - he had to go through the options, but wasn't pushy. Good quality inventory, and a much better experience than I was expecting. Recommend.
