First time coming to this location, and had a great experience! Came in for an oil change and tire rotation, and also got a full inspection done. Very useful information and ended up getting the drive belt replaced as well. They even set up a Lyft ride home and back to pick up the car after! Sal had great customer service and I didn't feel pressured to purchase more than what I wanted. I will be returning!

I had a very negative experience at Hohen Honda of Carlsbad. They made promises that were not kept, so I called Norm Reeves who on the day I called they set into action the needed steps to get the exact car I requested. I was instantly impressed by Ghassan the sales rep who assisted me in the purchase. MY first and only experience with the Service Group was also very positive. They stood with me as I inspected my car's ceramic finish and then answered all my question about my new car's operations. Buying a car here is fine, but servicing it is a complete nightmare. I had a 2:30 PM appointment for a simple oil change and alignment. About one hour in, I received a message saying there was a nail in one of the tires and that it needed to be replaced for $135. After confirming with the service representative, I signed the paperwork and continued waiting. Two hours later, I was told they had sent the wrong documents and that the actual cost was $700+. I immediately declined the service. Then I had to wait another hour just for them to remove the wheels and put everything back. In total, I waited over 4 hours for an oil change that should have been straightforward. The lack of professionalism, poor communication, and complete lack of transparency are unacceptable. This experience felt disorganized and misleading. I would strongly recommend going to a third-party shop or a different dealer.

Ghassan Asfour Is sales was very helpful. He followed up for nearly a year, (I take a long time to make up my mind) and last night I finally purchased my 2025 Civic Type R. These are difficult to come by, and most had market adjustments over the past 12 months at all the other local dealerships as long as I have been looking..... so that made it impossible for me to purchase. This has been an overall stressful experience for me. I dropped my car off yesterday at norm reeves for service around 2:30pm. I wanted to get a diagnostic to see why the airbag light was on. I was told I would get an update that day. They closed at 6pm yesterday so I figured they had sufficient time. The end of the day comes and I received no update! Fast forward to the next day I call and am wondering if they have an update for me. By 9-10am they said I would for sure get an update. I then get a message from Sal who says he will send me an update shortly. I wait hours and still nothing. He continued to ignore my messages. Now I have no choice but to get a lift and go over there because they are closed tomorrow. This is unacceptable. Update: I’m updating my review to 3 stars from 1 because Ramzy Ramez went above and beyond to make up for what happened. He was kind and apologized for the whole fiasco. My final Update : your review is back at one star soley for the quote I was given of near $5000 stating that my engine bay harness was not repairable. TODAY I took it to a mechanic near by and had it fixed in under $500.
