They were very quick at looking at the problems I came in about, and were very straightforward about what needed to be done and the cost. I walked into Norm's after AAA told me my battery couldn't be replaced under warranty because my alternator was faulty. Instead of doing what many shops would've done and replaced the alternator (a 1,000$ job) Norm tested the connections and sent me home with a perfect alternator after just a few bolt cranks - free of charge. That was a good day!

Norm is the most competent and transparent shop owner I’ve ever come across - and I’ve dealt with many. I’ve come to him for years to help with complex jobs on my classic car, and he has always handled every issue efficiently and fairly. Today, I needed some advice and referrals for a car issue that falls outside his shop’s remit - zero benefit to him but he helped me in exactly the same way as a paying job. They don’t make ‘em like this anymore! Then I realized I had never left him a review. 😳

Just wanted to give a quick shout out to Norm. Brought my car in as it was having some engine steaming issues. He checked it in a couple hours and told me the exact problem, and said he couldn't fix it but he let me know where to go. Didn't charge me or try to sell me anything else, just gave me the keys and told me exactly what to do to fix it elsewhere. Came across and very honest and knowledgable.

I've been going to the guy for years. And they we're doing a great job. Every time I got there, I'd inquire about the price beforehand and he would charge more or less what he predicted. This most recent time i did not inquire about the price beforehand and he took advantage of it. I got my battery replaced (something that should have been a $300 job). When i got back to the shop he charged me $600. When i looked at the receipt, i see that he charged me nearly $400 for a $200 battery.
