I paid $2,300 for complete rear axle bearing service. Rear axle pinion seal and speed sensor/ABS sensor seals were not installed properly. Rear axle lubricant leaked out during drive back to Illinois. Had to spend another $400 plus for the seals to be installed correctly upon returning. Attempts to contact the business and its owner, Nancy Matter, was met with negative results. Small claims lawsuit pending.

Can not be any happier with our experience here!!! Took our F250 6.0 diesel to multiple shops who kept saying nothing was wrong but the truck continued to idle out and leave us stranded on highways. Nancy knew exactly what was wrong without even looking at the truck. She called us late in the evening to talk to us about our options and bringing in the truck. We received constant communication and even pictures throughout the repair process!! We ended up spending a little more than we anticipated but I don't feel like we were robbed at all and I truly think we got our money's worth. You get what you pay for and this place is reasonable and def worth every penny. We won't be taking the truck anywhere except here going forward! Thank you guys!!

NTX Diesel received our truck after All Makes next door decided they would rather have the experts look at our truck. We received a call the next day from NTX Diesel, and they stated what they thought the problem was, and what it would cost to fix. They were spot on, did what needed to be done, and at the quoted price. Actually had them do an oil change since we were driving to Chicago with the truck in 3 days time. We completed the round trip to Chicago with no issues. I know that when we need the next service work done on our 2004 Silverado, it will be traveling to NTX Diesel. Thanks for being a shop with integrity...not all stores are. Great customer service!

I have taken my truck to NTX Diesel twice now and both times their team has far surpassed my expectations. First time was to repair injectors that another shop had installed a month before. Turns out the other shop put cheap after market injectors and they failed. The mechanics replaced the injectors and Nancy even worked to get another 2 that were failing replaced under ford warranty. The other shop didn't even attempt warranty replacement so Nancy definitely went above and beyond to help save me money The second time I literally just drove in from out of town. Nancy was out but the mechanic stopped what he was doing to diagnose my issue (low oil pressure indicator and loss of power) . I just drove the truck 1100 miles and noticed significant performance issues. Prior to leaving my origin location I had the truck checked out and was told the turbo was going out by one mechanic (quoted me $2200) and another mechanic said he didn't know what was wrong without tearing truck down (quoted $800 to diagnose only). Knowing I had a great team in NTX Diesel back home I risked the drive. As soon as I arrived in town I drove right into the shop and the mechanic took about 45mins to properly diagnose. He immediately identified the issue as a bad fuel filter (total: $216 for fuel filter replacement and labor to properly diagnose). Drove truck back, another 1100 miles and she ran great! I'm extremely greatful for NTX Diesels honesty and fair pricing. Needless to say I highly recommend them!

I highly recommend North Texas Diesel. You will find great customer service and knowledgeable owners. I took my F250 to other shops where they guessed at what the issues were. They then gave me one estimate that was followed by an explanation that what they were going to do may not fix my truck. My truck would need more repairs which would increase the final price. NTX Diesel took one look at my truck, knew what the problem was and successfully fixed it. The price was great and the repairs were completed quickly. I will not take my truck anywhere else.

Nancy is great as well as her crew. They did a total rebuild of my 6.0l 2006 F250 engine. I wanted a total rebuild from bottom end up, they did it. Had 151k plus miles and both head gaskets had failed. Bulletproofed it, sent me pics of the progress for me. I requested all new components to upgrade/bulletproof, new sensors etc. Due to Covid machine shop was a little behind as well some of her technicians being out. The truck sounds great, runs great so far. Got to go thru the break in period before I really know how she runs so don't get behind me just pass me. Nancy, and NTX Diesel took care of me and my truck. These diesel trucks are expensive to repair, ill tell you that they are a great shop and have great prices. Saved me some money without cutting any corners! Thank you!

I had an issue with my 2006 Ford super duty, and I called NTX Diesel. They told me to come on in, and drop it off. Not 45 minutes later, they told me they found the problem, which they had told me was the probable cause. A few hours later, the truck was fixed, and a whole lot cheaper than the Ford dealership wanted to charge me. When I first saw their shop, I had my reservations, but as we were all told as children, ‘don’t judge a book by the cover’. These folks here are super knowledgeable and very kind. I strongly urge any diesel owners to use this shop as ‘their shop’. Much like barbers, this is the only place for me!! Thank you so much for your help.

It is terrible that the negative comments posted are such a personal attack with no backup visibility of facts and details while the shop owner is so willing to opening expose everything for one to make their own determination of right or wrong (most recent "run for your life" review). That openness for me really speaks volumes towards the integrity of North Texas Diesel. They are always honest and completely open with any work they've ever done on my truck and from what I've witnessed, they do it with everyone who passes through their doors. Such a high level of honesty is really hard to find these days, especially with diesel shops because there is such a uniqueness and complexity when working on diesels. Not too many places try to inform and educate at the level that North Texas Diesel does. It is comforting to get that kind of treatment. For me - I have never left this shop dissatisfied one bit with service, price, quality or any part of the overall experience. Nancy and the guys always provide top notch service and that service quality is what keeps me coming back. The reason for my review here and now is to commend and give thanks to North Texas Diesel because they went above and beyond for me on a recent job. One that had me pretty worried and concerned could ever get fixed. I truly consider it a blessing that I can call on them to handle not only the normal service but also the serious work like what was just completed. Thanks North Texas Diesel! See you soon but hopefully not too soon!! :-)

Nancy and her team took on my truck when the high pressure fuel pump that was starting to fail, and wasn't running right. When I got it back it was running good as new. I appreciate Nancy and her crew for having to go through the whole fuel system to get my truck running pretty awesome now.

WOW!!! If I could give 10 STARS I would! Nancy and Jeremy go over and above! We took our F350 to another shop and we played the "We think it is this" game to the tune of $1500.00. We found ourselves stranded with an Autistic child and 100 degree weather. We took it back to that shop and "they fixed it again" Drove it home, less than 50 miles and found ourselves stranded AGAIN! We called Nancy and she immediately responded with "There is an high pressure oil leak somewhere." We took it to NORTH TEXAS DIESEL, Automotive and Performance LLC and the very next day she called and with an explanation and an estimate that was less than what I had already paid the other shop. We have used this shop multiple times and everytime they have been fair, thorough, knowledgeable and reasonablly priced. I now live over an hour away from their shop, but after this experience, I would drive across Texas to take my truck to them! You can't go wrong with NORTH TEXAS DIESEL, Automotive and Performance LLC!!

This shop is the quintessential independent shop. You can expect very reasonable pricing with a personal touch. The techs are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. On multiple occasions, tech Jeremy has pulled away from a vehicle he was working on to come answer a question or perform a quick fix. The owner, Nancy, even took my calls after hours to help me and my family limp our way back from a road trip. I have never been up-charged, in fact, I’ve been given recommendations on work I can do myself to save money and time. One look at the shop and you can tell they are not hurting for work and there is no need to convince me to spend money on stuff I don’t need. All work has been performed within a very reasonable timeframe, with any delays being clearly communicated. Being able to text with the owner has been a great help since I have had my Excursion at the shop while I was working and couldn’t easily take calls. I definitely intend to use this team for as long I keep my 6.0.

Easy and SUPER quick service. Dropped my 7.3 off for a water pump, thermostat and housing and was done in less than a couple hours. 10/10 and pricing is HALF what I was quoted at the dealer.

I wish I could give ZERO stars! Avoid Nancy and North Texas Diesel at all cost! I took my 06 5.9 Cummins truck to NTX Diesel 10/4/2021. I had and injector issue in cylinder 1 that caused the piston to melt. Nancy quoted me a decent price to rebuild my engine. I also asked for a new set of injectors, coolant bypass and to inspect my clutch since it would be accessible. I was told it would be about 4-6 weeks to get my truck back. Finally in late December I got my truck back (after a lot of excuses). They didn’t install the coolant bypass, they forgot. I left the shop and immediately noticed my clutch was slipping. I returned to the shop and the mechanic told me he wasn’t told to look at the clutch even though I had reminded Nancy multiple times. They did agree to change the clutch for the cost of parts only since they had overlooked the inspection. Once I got my truck back I decided to put some miles on it to break in the engine as I needed it for an upcoming trip. After about 100 miles the “new” clutch began to make noise. I returned the truck before Christmas to have it fixed again. I got the truck back in early January. Once again I decided to put miles on the truck to break it in, again, after about 50 miles the clutch began to make noise again. I returned the truck again for repairs which were completed by late January 2022. All I ever got from Nancy were excuses as to why my truck wasn’t completed on time or correct. Fast-forward to 7/2023. I was headed out of town with my camper and the truck decided to throw a couple of rods out of the side of the engine. This was 18 months and 30K miles after they rebuilt my engine. Naturally I decided to take my truck to a different shop to get rebuilt this time. The new shop tested my injectors since they had them out. Three of them didn’t meet the specs anymore. I called Nancy to see if she could provide the information I needed to get them replaced under warranty. When I made my initial call to Nancy she started right away with the excuses. She told me she was out of the office and could not look up my information that I should call the next morning. Over a two day period I have tried to call her 4-6 times, either going straight to voicemail or no answer. My new shop contacted the Bosch rep to see if he could help. When he called her she refused to help at all with the invoice for my injectors. Now I have to buy all new injectors instead of returning the bad ones through warranty. I’m beginning to wander if she even gave me new injectors when she rebuilt my engine. Avoid Nancy and North Texas Diesel at all cost!

Really wish I could give more stars to this company. I was in town for a personal matter in the middle of roadtripping from AZ to MS. Ended up having an issue with the truck to where I couldn't continue the road trip. Had my niece and two dogs with me, no sleep for two days, and having just dealt with having to buy a new tire on the side of the road. I was not having a good time. Nancy immediately recognized the tone in my voice. She told me to bring the truck in as soon as I could, and she would get me in. Not only did she get a mech on it when I first pulled up, she conversed for 3 hours with me while they diagnosed and fixed my truck! It's so hard to fine genuinely good people these days. But if you are looking, this is definitely a shop filled with them! Fantastic service, time management, pricing, hospitality, and honesty. 100000% recommend.

No "BECAUSE you are a WOMAN" discounts here! This is an experience we had in 2020! But we still feel the same way! My wife took our Ford F-350 to a local shop and was given an Itemized estimate totalling over 10K back in 2020. I had read a lot about NorthTexas Diesel, Automotive and Performance LLC so we decided to get a second opinion. When my wife called to set up the second opinion with Nancy, she responded it sounds like you got the "Woman Discount" they both laughed knowing that it meant the shop was treating her like she didn't know anything. We took our truck to them and they diagnosed it. Not at all the same services needed as previously recommended and we even replaced 4 injectors instead of the 1 recommended. Our total bill out the door was $6700. The truck runs amazing! They took our truck that we paid $6K for and turned it into a $19K truck that we know will be sound for all of our hauling needs! I can't thank you enough for the piece of mind that you have given us knowing that we can take off in our truck and not worry!

The only reason there is even a star is so I could write a review. Just avoid this place. There was metal in my fuel system. I was given two different options the first time. I chose the cheaper option because I had just spent 12000 on a new transmission and coolant pump. When that option didn’t work refinanced the truck to pay the extra 3500 to fix it right…this was on top of the ,around 7500, spent…..months of excuses later…..and my truck having to be taken back to them multiple times it’s still not fixed. It seemed awfully fishy that my truck was always ready on Saturday when they weren’t open. The bolts that hold the injectors down got re used. Those are one time use bolts (torque to yield). I can tell the driver side fuel rail and lines were replaced. The passenger side is hard to tell on the rail but the fuel lines were definitely re used. The fuel injectors if they don’t give you the receipt there is no way to tell if they were reused or not because once they go in the engine there’s obviously oil and stuff that gets on them so that would be damn near impossible to tell if they did replace them or not. They did replace the high pressure fuel pump with an upgraded one. (This is from an actual diesel mechanic). I still have never received an invoice with part numbers. This place is crooked and there is a reason they have two different Google accounts with reviews. Yes Nancy I’ve got every message saved…and the amount of time it took you to respond. I also asked them not to replace the brakes or tie rod that I would do that so they could concentrate on the bigger issue….but they did those and yes you charged

North Texas Diesel was great to work with. Very timely updates and the repair work was top notch. They replaced the turbo on my 2018 Ram 3500 with and ATS turbo. Would definitely use them again if the need arises.

Nancy and her team are always honest, dependable, and timely! I have used them several times in the last 2-3 years to fix and maintain my old F-250. I can honestly say that my truck would not be running without the expertise of NTX.

The only reason I chose one star is because that’s the only way I can make a review. Stay away from this place.. Run Forrest run! I was oversold overly trusting and had $14,000 bulletproofing of my Ford 6.0 engine. 1000 miles later after replacing everything including the fuel injectors, that thing smokes like the dickens I’m getting ready to take it into another shop in Houston. This place has no warranty. They oversell the warranty then when you get the invoice afterwards, only gives you 30 days.. With multiple limitations. I asked him to keep all my old parts. I didn’t have a single old part to verify it and on the factory fuel injectors I paid $1800 for the excuse was I had to give it back for a deposit they could’ve held off for the deposit and show me the fuel injectors. I have no proof for verification of what was done. They told me they would take pictures as a project went by and never happened..
