Pure incompetence. 3 DIFFERENT TIMES. 2 DIFFERENT VEHICLES. I go in for an oil change and they fail to properly secure the underbelly flap after it’s done. Unacceptable. Both times while driving on the highway the underbelly flap falls out. this is due to incompetence and just poor work. I’d understand if it happened once. Or maybe on the same vehicle. But two different vehicles THREE DIFFERENT TIMES. Save your money and go somewhere. If they can’t do a simple oil change they def cannot do something more complicated

The manager and team stayed open after hours to ensure my company fleet vehicle was serviced in time for a 3 day work travel event. I called on Monday morning, they said bring in the vehicle. I couple of hiccups along the way, with approvals, and coverage, but ultimately, their team promised to complete the vehicle on Monday, and they delivered. John, a leader in the store, was excellent. I had a tire that lost psi daily. They did all of the standard checks but no obvious issue was found. So they took the tire off, cleaned the bead (found grime from a previous install), and reinstalled. They shop guys were polite and worked with John and myself to talk out a plan to get the tire back to a reliable state. Good team that I hope sticks around. Happy customer.

She was honest and also gave me a discount due to the repairs not being done same day. Wound up getting an oil change and tire rotation while they were at it. I’ve been a loyal customer here for years, bringing both my personal vehicles and fleet vehicles for service. Until recently, my experience had been consistently positive. However, over time the policies and explanations have become inconsistent. On one visit, I was told a service could not be performed because of a feature on my vehicle, yet on a later visit the same service was completed without issue. That inconsistency raises questions about what is actually being done and why the rules seem to change depending on the day. Today’s visit was especially disappointing. For my personal vehicle, I’ve always brought my own oil. I asked if they would be willing to use it as a one-time courtesy given the circumstances, and the request was declined. After years of business, that lack of flexibility and clarity ultimately led me to take my business elsewhere. I value transparency and consistency in service, and unfortunately, that’s no longer what I experienced here.

The Kingfisher location sets the standard for excellence. John, the store manager, and the entire team—including their technicians—are truly best in class. Professional, accountable, and customer-focused from start to finish. Unfortunately, my experience at the Route 40 location was the opposite. Tires were mounted without checking or programming the TPMS sensors, and I was told to “figure it out” on my own. That level of service is unacceptable, and I will not return to that location. If you’re in Frederick and value competence and integrity, the Kingfisher store is where you should go for tires and service. John, Bryce, and Kenneth stepped in, took ownership, and made the situation right. Because of them, they’ve earned my trust—and my business for life.

After a dealership tried selling me $1000 tires I stopped by NTB, for them to check my tires. After evaluating my car they found in a timely fashion that the dealership was wrong.
