I will not take my vehicle anywhere else!! The owner of this shop is very professional and hands down the best Mechanic for BMW and many other makes as well. Marlon brings years of experience and has the leading edge on the market. I have been to the BMW "stealership" many times and for the same work needed, Marlon (the Owner and Mechanic) has saved me THOUSANDS of dollars! Marlon is honest and respectful. I can honestly trust his judgement about repairs needed and trust that he would not recommend repairs unless they are truly needed. The shop is well maintained and Marlon has leading edge tools and diagnostic equipment to dial down exactly what is needing repair. I cannot say enough about how pleased I am each and every time I have needed his services. Don't think twice! This is your go-to guy!!

Marlon is by far my favorite mechanic that I’ve been to. His prices are incredibly fair and he doesn’t mind taking the time to explain things to you. He knows his stuff and that shows in his work. It was hard to figure out where to take our BMW before discovering his shop in an online BMW forum but now there’ll be nowhere else we get our car serviced and repaired at. I couldn’t recommend him highly enough.

Marlon at NW Autowork is one of the most knowledgable, experienced, and trustworthy mechanics I have ever had the pleasure of doing business with! He knows more about BMW's than anyone I have met and he does an outstanding job in his work. One thing that really sets him apart, besides his fantastic pricing and quality of work, is that he goes above and beyond the task at hand to ensure your vehicle is in proper running condition. I just had a large service done on my n54 335i BMW including resealing my OFHG and walnut blasting the intake valves. I was thrilled with the results and my car now runs great. I came down from Seattle and I am glad I did, my BMW now has a new forever mechanic. Thanks Marlon!!!

NW Autowork is the best BMW indy shop in the area and far better than the dealership. I’ve taken my 2011 328i here multiple times because the price is very reasonable and I’ve always received the best customer service. Marlon is extremely knowledgeable (BMW trained Certified Technician) and overall a genuine mechanic who goes the extra mile to make sure you’re satisfied with the work. Never tries to sell you on repairs that don’t need to be done and completes the work quickly. I highly recommend NW Autowork and I intend to always bring my BMW here for repairs.

Marlon is a hard working service professional and business owner who's team worked on my 2013 BMW 335XI several times. His prices are reasonable and the work performed was very timely. I will use him again and recommend him to others who value their car, time and money.

My experience at NW Autowork was the best compared to any shop that I have been to that has worked on my car. Marlon is a very knowledgeable tech that knows BMW's. I went in for a lowering spring install and was very satisfied with the work, he also went ahead and pointed a few other things that I needed to pay attention too. I'am for sure coming back to his shop for anything further on my 2011 335xi and if anyone else is out there is looking to have some service done on their BMW don't hesitate and contact Marlon at NW Autowork.

This is by far the most amazing auto repair shop I’ve ever been too, and will use them for all my BMW needs. Fantastic prices on repairs, high quality service, and very good repair times. Marlon, and his team are very knowledgeable, and hard working. Keep up the awesome work!

I have a BMW that has been down for a year. I took my car to this great auto business and I'm very impressed. I enlighten Marlone about my issues. And within mins, he already knew what most likely will be the cause. He replaced the part and my fine machine is running like a floor model "show car". I admire the knowledge/ customer service at this shop. The price for the repair was a lot cheaper then most competitors. I recommend this shop for anyone who wants their car to be repair right. At a fraction of the cost then other repair shops. Keep up the great job Marlone / Spencer !!

What can I say that hasn't already been said? Marlon's shop is excellent. Knowledgeable BMW specialist. Very pleasant to talk with him. Willing to spend a few extra minutes to go into recommendations. Had multiple fluids changed and brakes inspected. As mentioned by many others, the most reasonable prices for an indy Euro specialty garage I've found so far in the S. Sound. Highly recommend.

I've been taking my 2012 3 Series to Marlon for at least 5 years now and I couldn't be happier with the service. I bring my car in for regular maintenance and it's there now for some unexpected work. I trust Marlon and his team to be honest about the problems, the work required, and to charge a fair price for the repairs. I'm so glad I have a trusted mechanic to help me keep this car around for as long as possible. If you have a BMW, look no further than NW Autowork for maintenance, repair, diagnostics, everything.

Move to WA from Chicago where I had a mechanic I trusted. After going to one other shop in Lacey, I did not feel as if they had the best interest for me. I found NW Autowork and I had such a great experience the first interaction with them. Marlon and team get the job done in a timely manner and at a very competitive price. I have been going to NW auto for awhile and have gotten several things (HPFP, oil change, brakes, radiator, etc) done there and will continue to go to Marlon and team for as long as I own my BMW. 11/10 (no typo) recommend them!

Marlon (NW Autowork) is top notch! I have a e90 m3 and had him and his tech Spencer install solid rear subframe bushings for me. They did a fantastic job! A+. If you have a bmw I highly suggest this shop especially if you’re in the Tacoma area. I’d say they are the best and I wouldn’t even bother with any other shops if you have a bmw and live in the south end. They are really the best and pricing is fair. You’ve earned my trust Marlon and Spencer is awesome. I’ll be back again for future mods A++++ Thank you again guys!

I went to NW Autowork to get a Pre Purchase Inspection done for a 2011 BMW 335i M-Sport Sedan which on the outside, looked like it was in great shape! However after Marlon looked at the vehicle more thoroughly, there were a lot of issues with it and he saved me a huge headache and stress by pointing out the major flaws with the vehicle. Without his help, I probably would have bought the car, then spend another 5-6k just doing repairs. If you ever need a BMW inspection done before purchasing, I highly recommend going to NW Autowork and letting Marlon take a better look!

This is a long overdue review, Marlon and his crew at his shop has been working on my 2007 BMW 335i since he first started his very shop at the the other Tacoma location. He and his crew are very trust worthy, I refuse to bring my BMW to anybody else but Marlon's shop. He is very professional and does amazing work and his knowledge is second to none. Thanks again! I recently brought my car to Marlon to have a full brake kit and coil-over kit installed on my car. As soon as I met him and talked with him, I felt that he does this not only to make a living, but because he has an interest and passion for BMWs. Marlon listened to what I wanted to do with the car, and offered his own opinions and information based on his experience. I stopped in on them a couple times as the project was in progress, and they were always willing to stop and communicate with me about it. Marlon maintained good communication with me. Both the guys are obviously knowledgeable about the cars. The final result on my car was great - the set-up on the coil-overs was just perfect and the brakes are even more impressive than the stock M brakes. At the previous shop I used, the work seemed good but to be completely honest, I was at times a bit uncomfortable because I felt like the mechanic in the back didn't really care, and even seemed like he was thinking "ugh..." at times. At NW Autowork, both Marlon and his fellow mechanic seem happy to be there. I felt like they are happy to have my car in the shop, not just happy to have my money there. Very good experience.

First time visit. Owner Knowledgeable, receptive, competent, timely, trustworthy, and fair. Work done professionally at market prices. The owner is a personable guy who knows his way around a BMW. You can tell he's passionate about his work as the mechanic & owner. He had an easy chance to charge extra without me knowing but saved me money saying the part was fine. Saved hours and $200 on a returned part. Better than dealer cost and my basic tuning without dyno and mapping needs for Tacoma area. Install explained thoroughly with pictures and solid recommendations to accompany recommended future maintenance. Earned my business and my first choice for future work. 5/5

My first BMW experience was while living in England, and ever since then, it has been hard to step away from the brand. When you understand these vehicles, you realize how important it is to have mechanics who truly know what they are doing. I have used dealership service departments, and while they are fine, I have always preferred supporting business owners I can trust to provide honest, quality work at a fair price. Living abroad, that level of trust and relationship with independent shops was the norm, and it is something I value highly. Marlon and Spencer at NW Autoworks have consistently delivered exactly that. They have always come through when I needed maintenance or repairs, and what stands out most is their honesty. They will not recommend replacing parts just to make a buck. If something still has a year or two of life left, they will tell you. That kind of integrity is rare and speaks volumes about how they operate. They stay busy, which says a lot about their reputation, but scheduling has never been an issue. The work is done right, the pricing is fair, and you leave with confidence in your vehicle. Quality you can trust. Highly recommended.
