One of them went to the back to retrieve the parts and the other directed me to the isles for the other things I wanted. Descent price as well.

I bought a part yesterday at the W. 7th location in Sioux City, Iowa. My mechanic husband installed it and it did absolutely nothing to solve our issue. I tried to take it back for a refund since it was obviously faulty. The guy said they couldn’t refund it because it was already installed and said “it’s yours now.” What’s the point of the warranty? I was disgusted with the way I was treated (likely because I’m a woman). I made my husband take the exact same part to the Gordon Dr location in Sioux City and they refunded him, no problems. We were going to buy another part, but after my husband heard how I was treated we have decided to take our business elsewhere. I will NOT recommend the W 7th location to anyone!

Do not buy the AGM special batteries that they sell for your motorcycle, boat, four wheeler or any other small engine vehicle they are ABSOLUTELY GARBAGE. I bought one at the end of may 2024. 2 months later the inside of the terminal on the battery corroded so badly that it snapped off. Had another buddy that had a garbage AGM o’Riley battery in his motorcycle. The date on the battery read 5/24. Today is 8/24 and that battery would not hold a charge anymore. Both batteries took a total of 3 months or less to kick the bed! The worst part about it is that they won’t refund you they’ll just give you another garbage battery that you’ll be replacing in another 3 months or less. They will also try to make as many excuses as possible to avoid the warranty or giving you a refund on their shady product! Horrible business ethics and horrible product! Absolutely will not be a customer anymore!

I have consistently experienced poor customer service at this location. Recently, I asked a younger employee for assorted O-rings and was informed that they only had up to 3/4 inch sizes, which were in the back of the store. However, I found the O-rings I needed on the shelves myself. When I addressed the employee's lack of customer service, I was subsequently denied the sale. Zero effort put in into helping the customer from the start, so better.

Had the worst customer service from the manager who was very rude. I came in to get my battery tested and he refused to let me purchase a new one and change it because he was too busy even though I was the only customer there. So I went down the street to advanced auto parts and they helped me right away! Don’t waste your time with O’Reilly’s, go down the street to Advanced auto parts.

I’ve been using this as my primary store for parts for several years. I complete all my own vehicle maintenance because let’s face it, most shops do not possess what I would call mechanics; they’re more like hook the computer up and attempt to parts swap based on code suggestions without any knowledge to be able to diagnose. The majority of the time they do provide good customer service at this location. I’ve had very few that I would just say are mediocre and never anything terrible for customer service. There is a shaggy fella that moves at a sloth’s pace and zero personality that I do avoid just for others to beware of. Recently I purchased enough oil and filters for five vehicles I possess that all came due for oils changes at the same time. That is actually the first time this happened. I purchased everything last week and completed the old changes on Saturday then attempted to return the used oil on Sunday. I was told oh you cannot bring more than 5 gallons. Well I bought 8 gallons from them. I explained to the employee all was bought at this store and I even have receipts. “Sorry it is store policy” and something to the effect of trying to prevent shops from filling their used old tank. I get it. Really that would have been good info to have before making the purchase but I am sure they liked selling that much oil. I primarily go there as I prefer Wix brand filters. I found that Arnold Motor Supply sells them and spoke to them about used oil return and they have no such policy in place as long as you have proof you purchased that quantity of oil from them. I will be trying them out for a while and if I like them enough, they will be my preferred store.

My friend bought a brand new battery with a four year warranty on it and they changed it at O’Reilly’s business place actually tested the old battery which was bad and recommended the new one within about 15 minutes. They changed it and we were on the road and enjoying our new battery of the lady that helped A lot was named Emily and I have to say Emily really did a good job. She seemed to talk with confidence and was not too eager to show that a woman can be a mechanic too. She just seemed to be a common sense gal doing a good job for us. I really appreciated her concern and doing a good job and I give her five stars and wanna definitely do business with her more so thank you Emily. Thank you O’Reillys for having a gal like Emily worked there.
