Well it was kinda getting late & cold i was on my way to my son's 4 a BBQ & car kept stalling at stop lights. 4 no reason or so I thought. So I pulled into O' Riley's. This very nice lady came out 2 my car 2 take a look at it &sje tried a few thongs on my engine. Turns out my battery was bad. Needless 2 say i didn't make it 2 the BBQ. Lol. But if I hadn't stopped at O' Riley's there's no telling what would have happened. THANK YOU O' RILEY'S

Huge shoutout to the team at O’Reilly Auto Parts on Broadway, but especially to the absolute legend who helped me today. This guy went above and beyond—it was pouring rain, and he still came out to my car without hesitation, bringing out everything I purchased and even putting it in my back seat for me. Wish I could give more than 5 stars. I received the BEST service EVER for my car here. Whole staff is awesome… ISAIAH?! He goes above and beyond. He took time to inspect my car’s issue, and even went with me next door to AutoZone after we found out they sold me the wrong battery for my car. Isaiah even recommended me a very close by (across the street) mechanic who was just as helpful. I CANNOT thank Isaiah enough. I made the mistake of buying a new car battery here. The battery I was sold gave out on me months later- turns out it was faulty. The problem with this place: they didn't honor the warranty. Batteries fail, but the warranty shouldn't. I went to a different O'Reilly's, close to my work, the first time the battery went out. The next day it went out again, so after a co-worker gave me a jump, I drove to the O'Reilly's where I bought the battery (this one). I have been driving and caring for my vehicles for 32 years, but I am also a woman. Women do get treated "differently" sometimes, and this O'Reilly's is exactly that. The customer service was offensive from the start with the first guy being annoyed at the sight of me and walking away and into the back about two seconds into our conversation. The second guy who helped me was nicer and begrudgingly checked my battery. I guess that is a red flag from the start- if they're not into helping, then they probably won't. He tested the battery and advised that the starter was out. I pushed back and had given him the full battery/symptom story. He said it was the starter and suggested a shop across the street. I took the car to the mechanic across the street (nice guy), and he calls me the next day to tell me the battery is bad. The mechanic told me exactly what to say to O'Reilly's and who to talk to- my sense was that this wasn't the first time and my troubles with O'Reilly's were not over. So I called O'Reilly's and had the displeasure of talking to the manager, who wanted to fight with me on the phone about everything. It felt like this guy's main goal at work was to not do warranty replacements and he talked to me like I was a little girl he was bullying. I kept my cool, but he did not. He wanted to argue over how to pull my receipt up in his system, didn't want to pull it up with my phone number, wanted my order number or exact date of purchase. Then he tried to do the math for how long I had the battery, like I was pulling one over him. Then, he proceeded to tell me he wasn't going to replace the battery. And then he told me I had to go to the mechanic, get the bad battery, then exchange it with the good battery. Maybe I was scammed here, with the referral to the auto shop, I don't know. When I told him I took it to the shop his guy recommended and that the mechanic asked for him to walk across the street and swap them out, it took him about 5 seconds to switch roles, and then suddenly he was a nice, normal, professional person. Very soon after my first conversation with the manager, I got a phone call from him, letting me know, with great pride, that he had personally swapped out the battery and that he had "taken care of it." I thanked him and it was done. Sadly, that is too little too late. I think, in the absence of the manager's argumentative, condescending spirit, paying a mechanic to look at the battery would have not been a big deal- it's not warranty service, but life happens. The fact this guy was so hostile and warranty avoidant was/is the main problem. He treated me like crap because he didn't want to honor a battery warranty on a new, covered battery. And it cost me $125 to have the battery diagnosed. This was the last time I shop at any O'Reilly's. My past experiences at this O'Reilly's have been good, but this experience was a deal breaker (literally). They get one star because they walked across the street and swapped out the battery for the mechanic.

Came in late on a Sunday to pick up a replacement headlight and turn light bulb for my wife’s car. I was planning on installing them the next day myself. As I walked in I was immediately greeted by Isaiah who suggested we double check the part numbers. We walked out to my wife’s car and two minutes later we were walking back in the store with the old bulbs in Isaiah’s hands. I bought the new bulbs and before I could say thanks Isaiah was out the door with me installing them. I’m still in awe at Isaiah’s complete customer service that went above and beyond the call. Shoutout to Marcus who went above and beyond when I needed my battery switched out. It was super cold the night I came in, but he came outside and was quick, kind, and answered all my questions. Being a woman always feels like a nuisance coming into stores like these. A lot of times when I have to go into an auto parts store, workers either look or sound annoyed to help out.
