I used to bring all my cars her for repair. I had a kinda bad experience the last 2 times I went. They are real honest and reasonably priced for sure. Thats why I still gave them 4 stars. The issue is that they either don't have some of the nicer equipment they may need or maybe they are pretty handy with most jobs but when something tricky came up then they don't have the experience needed to diagnose the problem. Last time they had my car for a month and still not fixed. He had tried putting a few parts in that cost him money and still nothing. When I came to pick it up and tow it back home, I had a young guy fiddle with it and out of a months time that a machanic had it this young guy bypassed the passlock and repaired the damage. He's got nice tools but only a handheld code reader, and he managed to fix it...

I’m taken back by the charged amount from having a third party come do absolutely nothing to improve my situation. Lost customer. Response to owner: I kinda thought you were being bitter bc I questioned you. Don’t forget that I brought in my Kia and asked for the pulleys to be replaced and you flushed my power steering and replaced a belt that wasn’t broken. Then I asked you to replace the corroded battery terminal and the good one was replaced. I’ve given you the benefit of the doubt because you’re nice. I can’t see where or why they would charge you that much for just about nothing. They supposedly drove it across the street. I drove it to your shop. That step was unnecessary. So was the part where you put in your battery. I’m tired of your guesswork costing me hundreds of extra dollars when you just aren’t listening. Ps…I didn’t ask you to prove it. I asked you to check very specific things that commonly cause the symptoms occurring in that particular year and model. See how that looks/sounds Dave? Misogynistic

Took my vehicle and it needed a thermostat. Not only did I have no heat but my vehicle groaned loudly every time I started it. I picked up a few hours later and not only did I have heat almost instantly, but my vehicle no longer groaned. Now it hums. I am very pleased with the service and friendliness here. Not only that, the final cost was less than originally quoted. That was an extra nice surprise!

I was very pleased that I was referred to Dave at Oak's Repair Shop. He was transparent on what it may cost on my vehicle, even took the time to contact my warranty company and gave me further education on many "warranty companies" I am between jobs and he let me have my vehicle back without paying the full amount by signing a recurring payment form to have the remainder taken care of over the next month. I have never had a repair shop go over and beyond like he did especially for never being a customer prior to this visit. I will definitely send business his way. Thank you Dave for your help I am so glad my friend referred me to you!

The air went out in my jeep and of course it was when we had several days of 90+ degree weather. I called Dave and he was able to get me in and out in no time. Oaks has worked on my vehicle multiple times. Their prices are so much more reasonable compared to dealerships and chain stores. They're honest guys that don't try to talk you into fixing things you didn't ask for. I will always bring my cars here and trust that they'll do a great job. Edit: I went back to Oak's with another problem with my tahoe (237,000 miles) and they fixed it the very next day for a less than I thought it would cost. They installed a used part instead of a brand one and they didn't try to sell me on replacing other things that would obviously be worn out after so many miles. These guys are great. 👍
