My Jeep had no brakes, my foot went all the way to the floor! Priscilla got my car in that day at noon. They replaced my brakes and my brake line, which had blown out! It was done within 48 hours even though they had to find the parts since it is a jeep vs honda. Priscilla made sure I was kept informed all throughout the process. It was no more expensive than a private mechanic would have been and I had loaner car. All around, it was a good experience!

Very disappointing experience at Ocean Honda. Even though my car was under warranty, I was still charged, and the problem was never fixed properly. The service manager replaced my seat but installed a low-quality / duplicate part, not an original Honda seat. After three months, they are now asking me to pay again for the same issue. I contacted Honda Customer Support, and they said the seat would be changed, but the manager at Ocean Honda is unprofessional and unhelpful. I bought my car from this dealership and expected honest and professional service, but unfortunately that was not my experience.

Ocean Honda screwed up my credit that I had worked on building up and it was very good!! I had full cash to pay for my car and they somehow convinced me to take a loan out on $10,000 of it. Even though I didn’t need it! They inquired with 8 businesses to get that approved. That put a huge notch in my credit score and then I ended up just giving them the remaining $10,000 cash that I originally had anyway! Very disappointed! Plus, my car came with one key fob and they wouldn’t even throw in a second one even though I gave them close to $55,000 for a used car.

Currently my experience is a good one. I went to Milpitas Honda first where the sales rep hastled me for 3 hours down to a price that was the exact same as there online pricing. Was not impressed. Called Soquel Honda they had a similar car for a better price. Explain that the only reason I'm calling them was because of the experience I had in Milpitas, they responded swiftly with a price I was happy with. Both Flor and Dylan helped me with my warranty issues in a timely matter. Tire rotation and oil changes are due and im not getting the same attention and or urgency I was getting originally when purchasing the car but they're still helping with the services, again with a lot less urgency. For example I reach out in the first week of Nov about my oil/ tire rotation never got response until I reached back out in the first week of December. Considering all the facts I definitely would STILL RECOMMEND.

We want to give a shout out to Edwin our sales rep and Kelvin in Finance. They were very personable and human which are rare nowadays and they also made our purchase the smoothest we ever had at a dealership. We were there less than 2 hours, because we did a lot of research and preparation. Did we get the best deal possible, who knows, maybe. But we paid what we wanted to pay and even a little less and we got the car we wanted. We promised Edwin and Kelvin 2 reviews each from my husband and I, but he doesn’t have a google and yelp account. But they are awesome and would definitely work with them again. We just want to reiterate that we did a lot of research, preparation and some negotiating to be able to achieve the smooth transaction. Edwin and Kelvin were definitely a big factor and it was a team effort.

I helped my brother get a car back in August/September by paying in cash, and despite over 30 calls to Ocean Honda and a message via their online portal, I have been unable to get someone to help me get the car’s title and license plate. I’ve called the DMV, and they told me it is on Ocean Honda’s court, and they don’t seem to want to do anything about it. I can’t get anyone to call me back/give me an answer. This is bad customer service. To this day, I haven’t heard back, and my brother is driving with expired tags. Do better, Ocean Honda.

I'm writing this review not because I want to but based on our experience we recently had it needs to be said. We purchased a vehicle there last September for our family car so that at the time my pregnant fiance and I can have a more safe reliable car. They were so friendly to us making us feel welcomed. Car was about 22k and told it was clean works perfect and was reassured that thw warranty wasnt necessary so they can save us a few hundred....Six months into having the vehicle we started to hear loud noises. We addressed it to them and to bring it over to get a look. They sent us to get it checked to another place and was told our transmission needed to be replaced..... a 10k fix on a vehicle they SOLD us that was fine. When we brought this up the whole treatment changed. There was nothing they can do since it was used...They said they can give us a few hundred off the most was 1k which would mean a 9k repair on a 22k PURCHASE NOT EVEN A YEAR AGO that we can't afford to fix and are on borrowed time once the transmission dies. You come with the expectation to buying a vehicle and that they would make sure their vehicles especially one that is that expensive to be in good shape to last more than a YEAR. We feel our trust in this dealership has definitely made us more cautious for our next purchase.

I was in the market to lease a Honda CR-V and didn’t want to spend four hours at a dealership going through the usual back-and-forth negotiations. I spoke with a salesman named Alan and told him that if he was a straight shooter and gave me a fair price, I’d come down and buy the car. I told him exactly which car I wanted. He came back with a lease quote of $773 per month — just slightly above their own advertised lease rate for the same vehicle, which was about $450 per month. I also asked him for a trade-in value on my low-mileage, excellent-condition Honda Pilot. He later called me, sounding excited, and said he could offer me $1,000 more than I owed on it. However, the Kelley Blue Book trade-in value for my car in “good” condition was $4,500 higher than what he offered. Even when I ran the numbers using the “fair” condition rating, his offer was still $1,000 below the low trade-in book value for the vehicle. We had multiple conversations where I told him I just wanted an honest deal and would happily buy the car if he was straightforward — yet he kept trying to lowball me. I do not recommend this dealership. Always go in armed with invoice pricing, trade-in values, and other market data so you don’t get taken advantage of like Alan tried to do with me. In the end, I bought my car from Capitol Honda, where they did exactly what I asked: gave me a fair deal without wasting my whole day at the dealership. ⸻ Would you like me to make this sound slightly more formal/professional (e.g., for a public review) or keep the conversational, first-person tone you used?

I bought a 2026 CR-V Hybrid AWD from Ocean Honda yesterday. I was greeted at the door by Jeff with sales. He was an absolute gem to chat with, and worked with me to find a good compromise in terms of price. I thought I was going to hate the process of buying a car, but Jeff made it very enjoyable. The paperwork was handled by Billy who also was a fantastic person to work with. Very relatable, and easy going. I had a deeply disappointing experience with Ocean Honda, and I hope management takes this seriously. During my visit, Chris spoke to my elderly parents in a condescending and dismissive manner while we were trying to understand vehicle and warranty options. They were there to support me during an important financial decision, and the way he spoke to them was disrespectful and completely unprofessional. Watching someone talk down to my parents like that was upsetting and immediately made us uncomfortable. The situation became even more unprofessional afterward. Jeff called me the next day to ask if I had closed the deal. When I explained that I had not due to the extremely high warranty cost and that I was continuing to explore other options, his tone immediately changed. When I mentioned I was considering other brands, he responded sarcastically and dismissively. Shortly after, he texted my personal phone making a condescending remark about my decision. This was inappropriate and crossed a professional boundary. Customers should never be pressured, mocked, or made to feel uncomfortable for taking time to make a responsible financial decision. Additionally, I was quoted nearly $4,000 for a basic warranty, which is far higher than comparable coverage elsewhere. Most concerning, however, was the dealership’s mandatory add-ons. I was informed that nearly $7,000 in additional products and fees are added to the vehicle price and cannot be removed. This means the online listed price is not the true purchase price. Buyers should be aware that the actual cost will be thousands higher than advertised, regardless of whether they want those add-ons or not. I came to Ocean Honda genuinely intending to purchase locally and support a local business. Instead, I left feeling disrespected—especially because of the way my parents were treated—and uncomfortable with the lack of professionalism and transparency. I hope management takes the time to review how customers are being treated, as this experience fell far below what anyone should expect from a reputable dealership.

Yesterday I went and saw Johnny at Ocean Honda. He gave me top dollar for my trade in and helped me get the best deal on my new Honda Prologue!! He took his time working on the details until I was happy with the deal. He also went over all of the aspects of the car and helped me get set up with all of the technology and apps involved.
