I’m relatively new to the Reno/Sparks area (moved here in November of 2022) so I found myself in need of a good 4X4 shop for my 2016 2dr Jeep JK Rubicon. I usually do most of the routine maintenance myself but for whatever reason, I didn’t feel like bleeding my brakes so I decided to give these guys a try. I showed up just as they opened up and was greeted by a couple of super friendly guys. I explained to them what I was looking to accomplish and then added an extra request of changing the brake pads. They wrote up the service order and then asked me if I’d like them to check the condition of the rotors, as they often discover that rotors are usually not serviceable when they check the pads. I said sure but advised them my Jeep only had 21,000 original miles on it but that if it needed new rotors then by all means, let’s replace them. Fast forward a few hours (after I took an Uber home) and they called me to let me know my original factory brake pads were definitely well worn (I’ve been running 35’s since about 5,000 miles) but that my rotors were pristine. I don’t know about everyone else, but to me, when a shop is basically given carte blanche to sell me stuff and they choose NOT to? That speaks volumes about their credibility and trustworthiness. And because of that, I am their new customer for all things maintenance-wise (that are beyond my skill set) on my Rubicon and my 2024 Toyota 4Runner TRD Pro. Great job, guys. Very happy I have an Off Road Warehouse shop only 20 min from my new home in Sparks.

Update: These guys keep killing it. I had a lighting plug issue and they had all the plugs and terminals to fix on hand. Love it. I have now gone here and been a customer of them a few times and I gotta say I appreciate them, their business and Team. They have a good variety of items for the Off-road community. Don't seem to be too annoyingly preferential to one rig or system of vehicles like 4WheelParts. The Team has been nothing but super helpful. Prices are fair. I'll keep coming back if they keep it up!

These guys have done a long travel kit for me, custom bump stop mounts and completely swapped kits on another 4runner of ours. All the work is impeccable! They go above and beyond, every time, on every build, big or small. They even went as far as to completely repaint my frame and axle housing for me while they were there. Saved me a ton of time having to do it myself! Highly recommend for every service, from lift kits to simple oil changes!! These guys are THE BEST IN TOWN, HANDS DOWN!!!

When a shop turns away the bread & butter of everyday work, the everyday services, are they really a shop? And I've had GREAT experiences at another ORW. Tires, balance & rotate, at, least 10 days out?! This was a simple , rotate, and balance. That's just nuts. A fue blocks around the way, please fine hernandez tires. They are ready to work, today.

I don't usually take the time to write a review unless I had the greatest service ever. I've dealt with a good amount of off road shops, and the whole crew at ORW was hands down the nicest, most professional, and most helpful crew I've ever talked to. What I originally needed done turned into a lot more when they started finding things I probably broke, and Dave was sure to communicate all my options very clearly to me so I could be out the door with the best possible setup for my needs and budget. As I said, everyone there was awesome, but I was on and off the phone with Dave all day and he really could not have been nicer or more patient. He wasn't there to sell me the most expensive thing he could, but rather to help me get out the door with the best setup for my needs. And on top of all that, my truck feels rock solid, after leaving their shop. Anytime I need anything done on my vehicles I'll come here. Thanks Dave and crew, you guys are awesome!

Recently purchased a lift kit ($1200.00) to put on my sons 87 k10. The employees were extremely helpful. I also purchased two fuel tanks along with two fuel pumps ($690.00). 2 days after i purchased them i took the fuel tanks and pumps back to the shop in unopened boxes to return because i was able to clean the old tanks out and salvage the pumps. It was then they wanted to charge a 25% restocking fee along with $100.00 freight charge. The employee then said the best he could do was a 15% restocking fee along with the $100.00 freight charge. After spending a couple thousand dollars with Off Road Warehouse they wanted to refund me roughly $418.00 on the $690.00 meaning i would eat roughly $270.00. This is ridiculous amount of money to spend to get treated this way when you are trying to support a local shop. I have numerous rigs to build and will never go back to Off Road Warehouse and spend a single penny. Absolutely HORRIBLE experience.

Absolute waste of time and zero communication. I was told, “Come down whenever,” so I drove from Tahoe to Reno—not once, but twice. Today, they suddenly told me my appointment was at 9 AM (which was never mentioned before) and that I’d need to pick up the car the same day… after I had already explained in detail that the car needed a lot of work and would need to stay. If you can’t communicate clearly or schedule properly, don’t tell customers to drive hours based on false expectations. This was a huge inconvenience, and I will not be coming back.

Went to get our 2020 Toyota Tacoma lifted and some new wheels and tires and let me tell you all , they were AMAZING , Tigger was really nice and knowledgeable, you go over your options until you find exactly what you want no rushing or nothing . He gets as excited as you do and that’s awesome . They work super clean which is something important to me and hard to find , and job is quality , truck looks so good , so happy with the result and definitely would come back to get more mods done with them .
