GYM TIME AND OIL CHANGE: A PRODUCTIVE DAY AT THE AUTO SHOP I called for a synthetic oil change for a full-size sedan car and was surprised by the affordable prices compared to branded places. I learned about this place when I witnessed a car accident in front of it. Unless you frequent this area or are recommended, you may not notice it's here even though it's on the main street. This is a tire and auto repair shop. This review reflects the oil change experience. While they didn't offer top-off liquids, the service was swift and same-day, even giving me a chance to hit the gym. The customer service was good, though they didn't recommend changing the air filter. Makes me wonder do I always need a change or was I just in the habit of getting it changed or did Olympic tires falter. Overall, a positive experience, and I'll be back for another try. Once I stopped to do alignment for my Honda odyssey. They checked the tires and told me that I need to change the rots then the alignments. They just wanted me to changes the rots with around 500 hundred then the alignment works. I am sure my car doesn’t not need to chang e the rot but they wanted to add work labor on me. When I changed my mind to do even the alignment. But then they charged $50 for the 1- minute inspection.. I never recommend people to go there… poor service, and poor dealing with costumers.

The receptionist is a greedy & uneducated person. Will give you 2 quotes "based on the work". They will charge you for a diagnostic, that is a maybe. Mechanic will take a flash light and give youa guess based on 5 seconds of looking. I bought the parts they mentioned. That Wasn't the issue. After several minutes of arguing they did the work. It took another mechanic 2 minutes to do the job & still charged the higher quote. I brought my vehicle somewhere else & diagnosed it for free & gave accurate information. THIS PLACE IS A SCAM. BETTER & HONEST SERVICE ELSEWHERE!

I came here to do an alignment, was told they could not do it. Claims my my tie rods were damaged, I needed to replace them before they would do the alignment quoted me some outrageous amount then proceeded to tell me that I owed them $50 for giving me that one minute inspection talk about a rip off and a scam. I end up going somewhere else having my car aligned with no issues. Definitely do not recommend definitely needs to be reported if you read other feedback. It’s the same scam to see a pattern. I do let’s all report this to the board!

Good communication help me solve a problem with my alignment that's been going on for years appreciate it these guys are busting their butt to make my car roll straight God bless. I wrote this review before I heard him hit the left front wheel bearing a few times and then without even taking it for a test drive they drove it up to me and said the traction control ABS lights will clear after you drive it for a while. Anyways I gave him a snicker and walked away knowing they damaged the front wheel sensor came home put it on the scanner confirmed it drove it around nothing reading from it and I'll be damned by taking back and have them fix it they're not touching my car no more. The tires were awesome they need to stick to that

So, I recently took my vehicle to Olympic Tires for a full service, and I honestly had a great experience. They took the time to explain what needed to be done and kept me updated throughout the process, which I really appreciated. The service itself was top-notch. My vehicle is running smoothly now. Mind you I have a very old vehicle that was in dire need of love cause it hadn’t moved in years! Everything was handled efficiently, and they didn’t try to upsell unnecessary extras. The environment was comfortable, and the team made sure I felt looked after while waiting. Tried some burritos right outside the shop and they were great as well. Overall, I’m very satisfied with both the service quality and customer care. I’d definitely recommend Olympic Tires to anyone!

I really like to support local small businesses, so I decided to stop by Olympic Tires in Chula Vista while looking for tires for one of my cars that is currently not street legal. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the tire tech mounted four tires onto four brand new aftermarket wheels that were still sealed in the box. The wheels were unboxed onsite and were in perfect condition. After mounting, the tires were submerged in water to check for leaks, which I appreciated. However, there were a few major issues. First, the tires were never balanced, which I was told would be done. Second—and more importantly—when the wheels were handed back to me, they were completely soaked from the water test. Because of that, I couldn’t immediately see any damage. It wasn’t until I got home, mounted the wheels on the car, and wiped them down that I noticed damage all around the lips of my rear wheels only. The marks look exactly like clamp marks from a tire machine. Unfortunately, when I brought this up, Olympic Tires refused to take responsibility and claimed the wheels were already damaged before I brought them in—which is absolutely not true. This was really disappointing, especially after trying to support a local shop and trusting them with brand new wheels. My advice to anyone coming here is to inspect your wheels very carefully before leaving, especially if they’ve been submerged in water. I’m still hoping Olympic Tires will take accountability for what appears to be a clear mistake, but as of now, this experience has been frustrating and costly.
