I've been coming to On Point Auto for over a year now after my last mechanic put a truck filter on my car when I asked for an oil change. Jason and Tanner have both been transparent with their work and price, which I haven't received from any other shop. They're usually booked up for 3 days so you have to schedule an appointment but that's a sign of how loyal their customers are. If you're looking for quality work on your vehicle that'll last then look no further.

I’ve been going here for the last several years and I won’t go anywhere else. Both my fleet (20) and personal vehicles go here. Jason the owner has repeatedly proven to be trust worthy in pricing and diagnoses of repairs. Several times I’ve gone in anticipating a large repair and I’m back on the road in minutes with just a “see you next time” instead of a large repair bill. If you’re looking for a long term shop... this is it!! They won’t do anything unless it NEEDS to be done.

If you like great customer service then this is the place to go. Not only did they repair my Honda Pilot in a timely manor at a very fair price, they went above and beyond to fix an issue 2 months later that I indicated they may have caused. Without hesitation, Jason fixed the issue and explained what he felt was the cause, which wasn't what I thought, and still NO CHARGE! I highly recommend Jason and On Point for your auto repair.

These guys are very good at what they do! Let's be honest here, the most important thing is finding a mechanic we can trust right? Look no further. On Point Auto is thorough with diagnosing issues, quick with their work, so you get your car back in working order, honest, and friendly. My issue? The car had no flow of air whatsoever. I did my own research, and when I went there I described what it could possibly be. They did their diagnosis, and it was indeed the fan motor that is in the dashboard somewhere. The best part is I dropped off my car as soon as they opened, and the work was completed before their estimated time frame, they were done a hour before they promised. Talk about over achievement and delivery! Needless to say, I am very satisfied with the work they did! Be prepared to schedule your appointment for a few days after you call. Love these guys! Thank you!

Had some work done in October ish of 2022. Have forgot to write a review. These guys are great! The service writers are the owners so you know what to expect by speaking with them! Totally honest, up front, and pretty humble. I came in with short notice since another shop my truck was at screwed the pooch hard core and I was in desperate need of help. Came across these guys. Brought the truck in, they repaired my issue in a VERY timely manner. After it was repaired, a technician ended up messing up the A/C compressor. Brought it up to the desk, didn't want moneh back or anything, really wasn't mad at all, just wanted it to work. Both the owners were upset that this left their shop like it did. Offered my money back multiple times. I refused until they finally insisted. They did the repair, for free at this point, which I would say again was not needed. Not only that, but they covered the repair and the A/C compressor! Would 10/10 recommend again and again and have multiple times. If you are wondering to get service or repair done here, just ask yourself this, 5 star reviews from this many people about different repairs on many different cars. And still 5 stars. Thank y'all again!

Jason and Tanner have worked on a few of our cars over the last 3 years. Their crew does quality work and they've come through on a couple of projects that other shops would've walked away from. As an example, they helped swap in a new ABS booster pump for our 4th generation 4Runner which saved me over $1K vs a full master cylinder assembly replacement with the same end result. More recently they volunteered to put in work on a Saturday so I could get our other car back before I left for a business trip. They're honest, reliable, and just all around good guys. 100% recommend

Outstanding customer service. Very nice people. On my way from work I found a smog check place on Winewood in Escondido and while checking my vehicle there I found out that one of my stop lights were out. Since they are next door from Rita's smog check place, I decided to take care of the light right away and went to them. I was expecting to be charged about $50 - that's my experience with most of the mechanics - however, they changed my light for free. Great people. If I'll have a problem with my car, I wouldn't mind to drive to Escondido to them knowing that I will be serviced by an honest and nice people.

I had an experience with Jason from On Point Auto Repair that had nothing to do with getting my car serviced, but it says everything about the kind of person he is. I was delivering food to Jason when I suddenly got a flat tire right before reaching his house. I asked if it would be okay to change my tire in front of his driveway, and without hesitation, he immediately offered to help. He went inside, grabbed his impact wrench and tools, and helped me replace the tire quickly and safely. After that, he even made sure it was properly filled with air before I left. He didn’t have to do any of that — but he did it gladly and without being asked twice. That kind of kindness and willingness to help says a lot about someone’s character. If this is how he treats people outside of work, I can only imagine the level of care he gives customers at his shop. Jason clearly loves what he does and takes pride in helping others. That’s exactly the type of person you want working on your vehicle. I truly appreciated his help and just wanted to share how genuine and generous he was.
