This is a first class Import repair shop. After some ok experiences at some pretty good discount repair shops around Gresham I thought I could do better at maintaining my semi collectible Acura Type -S sedan with OEM parts and care. After having done many preventative, emergency services, fluids, including a performance brake upgrade and a major timing service recently, Orient Auto Repair is my go-to when the “Dad Missile” needs more than I can manage and I need my vehicle back in a timely fashion. Their cumulative experience and manufacturer trained tech’s care and attention to detail allows me to keep value in my vehicle and confidence that I’ll pass a great vehicle on to my son or the next Honda nut.

Good service you get from a smaller shop . They do get booked up fast so get on their schedule for routine work . They got my car in and out in 2 days for a no start no run issue . They have a fenced in area if you drop you car off during business hours or they have after hours drop box , but then your car stays out in the open lot until they open in the morning .

The service on my Dodge Durango was excellent. The communication during the process was also excellent. They also replaced they fuel pump assembly because of ongoing issue with long crank time. They did the research to find that this is the solution, ordered the parts and installed them. The car runs like a dream now and there are no long crank problems. It is great to find a place I can trust so close to my house.

Had a check engine light go off, I contacted orient auto on the weekend, not expecting any response until Monday. One of the members sent up a 10am appointment for Monday over the weekend. And I had answers of needed service by noon. They ordered parts and had my car back Wednesday. And they tried for Tuesday, shipping delayed the speed service I was getting. As far as cost goes I did not shop around so I have no idea there but if past experience says anything it seems fair.

Just had my oil changed here and will certainly be a return customer! Great communication before the appointment with a text reminders. Was greeted with smiles and my car was started on my appointment time. The lobby is comfortable with 3 chairs and plenty of space, you can see the cars being worked on. They text the photos of what they are finding in the inspection. A little later they will send another text about the cost of each service with a decline or accept check list for that day! I left a happy customer with my 1 hour time frame with spending less money than the previous big dealer oil change. Going to tell my family and friends to change over!

Orient auto was a fantastic shop to work with. Came in with a bit of an abnormal situation. I do pretty much all of my own mechanical work but don't have the proper tools for recharging and evacuating A/C systems. I have a 3rd gen 4Runner and my A/C wasn't working properly. Was hoping for just a recharge, but the shop confirmed that the actual compressor had failed which I was afraid of. All throughout the diagnostic process Orient Auto Service was incredibly communicative. They even texted me a detailed quote with pictures of the problem areas and what they recommended replacing. Ultimately, I ended up replacing the components on the A/C system, but had Orient evacuate, flush, and charge the new system after it was all put back together and my A/C is working great! Very professional shop, I've always been into cars and they were happy to answer/confirm some questions that I've had regarding A/C. Really appreciated this, as I had previously taken my truck to our family mechanic a while ago and was told that it "was just an old truck" when I had some questions about my car. Overall, a great experience and I will definitely be returning if I have any other needs outside of what I'm comfortable with tackling on my own. Can't recommend Orient Auto Service enough if your in the Gresham area and need mechanic work done on an import.
