This was the worst customer service I’ve experienced on the Island. The owner was extremely rude and dismissive, ended up having to get my car towed somewhere else for repairs. Would strongly recommend against waisting your time and money here.

These guys are horrible. They had my truck for 7 days to do some repairs! They kept giving me the run around and lie to me about waiting for parts. I asked them to show me proof that they order parts and they refuse to show proof. Just unprofessional and the manager starts yelping at me just because I asked him to show proof.

Amazing service. ED the owner is professional. His family is also excellent. My truck was ready in 2 weeks. He deals with all insurance companies. Come see them you won’t be disappointed.

The worse and most unprofessional body shop ever. He was told something he didn’t like and he went off and started harassing because of it. He then proceeded to use personal information and phone numbers to continue the harassment. I would think more than twice when considering using this body shop. After reading multiple reviews this seems to be common and that the owner has something going on.

I think this body shop known for its lack of professionalism, a distressing encounter unraveled before me. The manager, Ed, exhibited a disconcerting lack of respect and courtesy, subjecting a customer to a barrage of insults and raised voices. Not only was Ed's behavior utterly disrespectful, but another staff member, a lady, engaged in a heated phone argument, amplifying the chaotic atmosphere. Enduring this unsettling scene for ten minutes, I made a swift and resolute departure.

I have never been to a worse auto shop. Please do not support these people, they are dishonest and extremely disrespectful to customers. I went with my sister to this shop because they were harassing and threatening her over the phone when she was trying to schedule a time to tow away her totaled car. I don’t think they could have had worst service if they tried. Here is a list of what the manager Ed did: -threatened my sister to sign paperwork to pay for auto work on a TOTALED car without an estimate by the end of the day or he would send her car to the state impound -said to her he isn’t asking her to sign the paperwork but rather, DEMANDING when she asked questions about what she was signing -told her that she needed to get her car towed by the end of the day on a day they weren’t even open and only told her nobody is there to release the car after she scheduled the tow -yelled at her over the phone and sent more threatening emails and texts -gave her an address to a shop they haven’t been working at for several weeks -told us to come in during a time that he wasn’t even there and the woman there said they can’t process payments without him so we had to come back in two hours (ended up being 3 hours because Ed was late). When we arrived the first time, the woman there tried to charge us $125/ day of storage rather than the $50 that was previously agreed upon and yelled that ”$125 is standard in Hawaii!!” We had to pull up texts from Ed and she finally agreed to $50 with a lot of huffiness. She then yelled at us saying that we needed an appointment so they aren’t going to try to help us. I told her we confirmed with Ed and she started yelling at us that we need to show her the messages because she doesn’t believe us. That’s when I stopped her and told her there is no reason to yell, we are all just adults that can talk through a scheduling issue. Right then, another man walked in an announced that he has an appointment with Ed. Clearly it wasn’t just us that Ed double booked. We also overheard this man saying “no, what if Ed comes back and tries to charge me like 3k?” We thought they might be trying to pressure him into signing paperwork for the body work on his car before getting an estimate, like they did with us. We tried to pay over Zelle (as requested by Ed) and when it wouldn’t go through he said “That’s impossible I work with Zelle every day”. Does he think we are lying about a payment not going through? Why would we do that? A note about their Zelle as well, it is under a different auto business name which felt very illegitimate and off. They confirmed with us in person that “Lincoln Auto” was the correct Zelle. We came back several hours later and actually had a police officer on stand by down the road in case things got hostile again. Luckily the older woman and Ed were not there so things didn’t escalate again. I also encourage people to read the replies that Ed has given the negative reviews. There are two that he copied and pasted the same reply, claiming that the reviewer has a DUI and wanted illegal work done. Clearly a lie to try to discredit poor reviewers. I cannot believe the lack of professionalism and straight up hostility from the people running their business. Please don’t waste your time, money, and energy on this shop!

Our 2007 Honda Ridgeline was leaking water into the cab. Pacific Auto personnel repaired the rust that had developed at the top of the damaged windshield and installed a new one. Though the rust was more widespread than the inspection indicated, they still completed the repairs within the original quote. We especially appreciated the Aloha of the office staff. This is the second time Pacific Auto has worked on our Ridgeline, and we would not hesitate to use them again. In summary, we have found Pacific Auto to be an excellent choice for our auto/body shop repairs. They have a very professional staff capable of comprehensive repairs.

Please don’t get your car fixed here or buy a car from here. I was completely taken advantage of and sold an unsafe automobile. Hoping I can save someone’s life by posting this or at least your money! They are not good people, go elsewhere.

All employees are extremely helpful, friendly, and have a very quick response time. My car was returned to me in perfect condition after a bad crash. They have been readily available for any assistance that I've needed since my initial visit months ago. I very highly recommend Pacific Auto Collision Center!

Edit: His response perfectly shows his true colors. Absolute liar. WORST PEOPLE in Hawaii. Nothing illegal. Very standard procedure. Call SMARTSTART. Nothing to hide. Unprofessional, rude, and incompetent. This shop wasted my time and money! After a wheel fell off my wife’s car I called Pacific auto and was connected to Edward the general manager. I explained the damage and he told me to bring it to the shop. I had it towed to the shop listed on google maps and he came outside to then tell me that this shop doesn’t do mechanical work and I would have to take it to his other shop 20 minutes away. I had it towed to his other shop and explained the situation to his employee Leo and how my car has a breathlyzer safety lockout device. I told him to call SMARTSTART before they work on the car and he assured me it wouldn’t be a problem. They hold on to my car for a week only to tell me that they refuse to work on it because they don’t have the time to disable it (5 minutes). I go to the shop and they don’t even have a mechanic employed for the day. Edward says it’s too complicated for him to do, says he’s too busy, and threatens that he should charge me a storage fee for the week they kept my car and didn’t do any work on it. He threatened to charge me if I didn’t get my car off his lot. I had it towed to O’Sung who disabled the device and will complete the repair. Every part of this process with them was unpleasant. I can’t believe they are a legitimate repair shop that can’t do a 5 minute electrical procedure they agreed to do. THEN to threaten a customer with fees because of their own laziness and incompetence is unreal. Worst experience with a car mechanic. Which is saying a lot!!

Unorganized, unprofessional and rude. Dealt with Ed initially to bring my truck in for repair at an agreed time. Arrived there only to be met with no one there. Waited 40 min because they were “coming from their other shop” called multiple times to ask for instructions. Who I can only assume is the wife, a woman answered explaining details that did not match Ed’s and when we had questions and explained to her what Ed told us started arguing with us Back and forth on the phone. Her “assistant” finally arrived and did a quick overview of the vehicle and told us we needed to give them the total payout of $3+ grand from our insurance to even do the estimate only check or cash. After going back and forth explaining Ed told us to bring it in to even see if he can do the work and why wasn’t that specified on the phone we were met with unconcerned “it’s not our problem” attitudes. We told them we were going to leave and she told us they can actually just take the “deposit” after the estimate. Shady. So we left and will never be going back there.

This is beyond the best repair shop experience I've ever had. Really friendly people at the mapunapuna location and queens at. Edward and Leo were very responsive & helpful with any questions or concerns I had. Great communication. They took great care of me & my vehicle. They really care about the customers and the vehicles they work on. Upon picking up my car after repairs, it went by really smooth. washed, & vacuumed my car, so that was really nice of them to do. I recommend this place to anyone that's looking for a shop for repairs on their vehicle.

Incomplete work, terrible quality and horrible customer service. After market bumper put back on our car. First photo is of the body panel gap left by the shop. Second photo is of the incomplete painting of the new bumper. Missing screws put back by BMW dealer after we found additional work was needed. Update: After trying to fix the body panel gap left by this guys repair we find that old parts wet simply caulked back into place. So much poor quality work here.
