Friendly and quick. Lots of choice but Patrick is good at narrowing it down quick and making it easy to pick based on your budget. I got a same day appointment because someone cancelled. Only took about 45 minutes total from showing up until I was driving away with my new tint.

Owner is super nice. I came in for tint removal/replace. Tint job was fantastic, but they left some staining on the headliner from all of the liquid they used to get off the old tint. Portions of the headliner is now frayed where it terminates towards the glass. I was able to get the stains out from the headliner with minor scrubbing.

I was driving by and noticed the sign for window tinting. I had them tiny my two front windows and they turned out great. The owner is a really nice guy has been tinting since the 80’s. It was $100 for the two windows. I would go back to him if I purchased another vehicle. If you have it done just remember can’t roll down your window for 3-5 days.

I called a week prior to schedule my appointment. Was super excited saw he had really good reviews. The guy said he was booked until the following week and offered multiple times, a lot didn't work out. He asked me Thurs at 9 but I told him I couldn’t make it, so we agreed on 9:30. I confirmed this multiple times on the phone and even wrote it down while we talked. There’s no way I would’ve agreed to 9 a.m. because I had somewhere to be at that time. I came 10 minutes early 9:20, only to find out he had already taken another customer because he "had work to do." He immediately turned me away. When I called after, he claimed he had me down for 9 a.m. and said he only schedules on the hour. Since he had already called his 11 a.m. appointment to come in early, he offered to take me at 2 instead. I would understand if we had actually agreed to 9 and I was late, but that wasn’t the case. He didn’t even bother calling to check where I was if I was supposedly late. On top of that, he was passive-aggressive, acting like it was my fault and that I wasted his time. Super unprofessional. I won’t be coming back.

Tint was done quickly and it looks perfect. I had to get mine redone because I moved here from VA and the tint I had was too dark by HI standards. But the price to take off the old tint and put on the approved HI tint was decent.

Patrick was very friendly and was able to fit my car in the same day I called because of a cancellation... They tinted all of the windows on my BMW i3 in ceramic tint at a price that was cheaper than all the quotes I received from other shops for lower quality tint... His team worked quickly (tint was complete in about 30-45 minutes). They were also very detail oriented and redid the small rear side windows because of a small imperfection due to tight tolerances with the side panelling inside the car. They made sure it was perfect before turning the car back over to me... I will definitely be stopping here again to tint my other vehicles!!

The owner was great and did a great job explaining and showing the different tint options. There was 4 guys working on our car and it took about 30 minutes to complete. You have to wait 3-5 days to use your windows again, but the tint is well worth it.

Let me save you some time and give you the short EZ review: First time I came here was in 2010, fast forward to today and this will be my NINTH car to be tinted by Pat and his crew at Tint Zone! He’s that GOOD, and that CONSISTENT! (Note: I ALWAYS buy his darkest legal ceramic tint and never had a safety check issue at all!!). An amazing small local business that you can do no wrong with!

I was very impressed with their quick service. The owner was very personable. I even forgot my appointment and was too embarrassed to call to reschedule so I called a few other places in Honolulu for quotes. I was quoted 2-3 times the price that Tint Zone Auto Center gave me. So, I sucked it up and called them again to apologize and reschedule. They were forgiving and got me in right away. I was going to get my windshield tinted too but the owner talked me out of it. He didn’t recommend it because the glass already has coloring, which would make the tint exceed legal limits. He wasn’t trying to make more money off me. If I get rich and buy lots of cars, I’ll bring them all to this place for tinting, lol.

Tint Zone Auto Center has been at this easy to find location for 20 years; was in and out in less than an hour for 2025 RAV4; and affordable cost. The new ceramic tint takes 3-5 days to cure, has noticeably reduced interior heat/sunlight along with an acceptable reduction in night visibility with the recommended lighter tint on back Power Liftgate.
