We were on the road heading home pulling a trailer, when our Duramax truck started having problems. My husband had an idea what the problem was, we just needed tools and a place to work on it. Papa's Garage were SO very nice and accommodating. They let us park our truck and trailer in their lot, and gave us some tools. My husband found the broken engine part and they were fast at getting us the replacement part needed. Robert, thank you SO much for all your help. These guys ROCK!!

BEST mechanic shop I have ever been to! My son has an older truck a1993 Ford F150, that we had the back brakes redone on before moving him to college at our local ford dealership in SE Colorado. We made it to Grand Junction fine but as we pulled in to the college parking lot, we heard a horrible metal to metal sound. We called the dealership and they contacted PaPas to take a look at. When the mechanic pulled the wheel, parts fell out as you can see by the photo attached. The dealership had done the brakes wrong and luckily they did not quit working coming over mountain passes. My son is very lucky to be alive. They took care of everything for us, dealing with the dealership, advocating for us and went beyond and above. They are people of integrity and they truly care. To say that me and my family are grateful is not words enough. Thank you to Ducky, Beth and the the team for everything!

I have dealt with this place for quite a few months now, and in my opinion, you should avoid it. In my experience with them, they have proven to not be trusted, and they are only out to make as much money off of your vehicle for as long as they can. The true status of your vehicle will not be given to you, and they will not answer your calls at all until time to take care of their bill, days or weeks after the scheduled finish time. I am currently getting information together from two separate mechanics about the work that was done on my vehicle, and I will be editing this to include what was found. But in the meantime, I can safely say the first part of the situation. I had a 2000 Honda Accord that I was told by a reputable shop that it had a blown cylinder, and it would cost at least $5000 for them to fix it. So I decided to go to a different shop for a second opinion. Papa's told me that they had a guy that works on Hondas, and he would take a look. They told me that for roughly $1000, they could fix it. But also kept telling me how much they could scrap it out for, "thousands!" So I gave them $1088, and expected the work to get done fairly quickly from the way they talked... but. Two weeks later, they call me to tell me that they haven't finished the job yet, only opened it up, but they found a different (worse) problem that was going to cost an additional $3500 besides their original fee. Rather than deal with a mounting bill, I told them to give me $500 for the car, didn't sign the title under the idea that I would at the close of our dealings. But the lady snatched it out of my hand and told me she'd hold onto it for safekeeping. I told them that they could return the parts for the car, and keep the car, totaling around $1588, and use that to do a transmission job on an old truck that I have ('96 S10). They told me that their transmission guy quit, but that they would do what they could to it to square everything out. And that's where everything gets really bad. These people have done well over $5000 worth of work after over two months of keeping my truck. The car basically disappeared, the money from anything to do with it is apparently gone, and they refuse to discuss it with me. After I finally pay enough to get my truck away from them, a different shop tows it to their place, and found out that the things that were done weren't tightened down, nuts weren't even hand tight, safety [cotter] pins weren't put in. The only things that had been done were the things that could be seen. They claim to have put in a Rear Main Seal that was not done. I am going to a separate shop to have everything documented and have verification from two separate sources of what has and has not been done. I will edit this post to include that information when I get it.
