Scheduled an appointment for an oil change 2 weeks in advance because they said it was “preferred.” Came in on time and was turned away because they were “too busy” and when asked about scheduling the new appointment they said they were too busy to schedule it and to call back.

I have always owned older cars and I know for a fact the reason they lasted so long is because of Jerry at Parkside. As a woman I always feared being over- charged at auto repair shops but the fact is his estimates were always lower and often the work he did was even below that. Now I don't even bother shopping around. I've received 20 years of honest, fair, and great service at Parkside. Highly recommend.

I am very unhappy with this mechanic. I took my fiat to this shop and I explained to "Sam" that my car is smoking. Charged me $400 to change a gasket and clean some oil that was leaked inside. My car was not diagnosed correctly and still was smoking very badly!! The second attempt I explained it still smoking he said all the cars smoke and show me other cars inside that wasn't even smoking!! He explained the oil is more than usual and you added the oil ( since I didn't do anything to the car shows they even didn't check the oil level and quality) !! I am very unhappy and my car is still smoking badly now I have to go to another place and pay more to fix my car!! I definitely do not recommend this place because they are uneducated and just a rip off unfortunately!!

Glad I called in first to get an estimate price for an oil change. It’s a bummer how expensive they quoted me to get oil change done for my 2019 Audi A3. I called in cause the usual place I go to closed the rest of the year and this place is literally just few blocks away. I was told it’ll cost me $150 for an oil change here. Phew! As much as I want to support local businesses, I’ll take mine to my regular on Geary which only charged me $107 for oil change and then some. It’s okay, I’ll wait until my regular re-opens next week.
