I want to give a huge shoutout to the service center at Patterson Tyler, specifically Benny Gonzalez. There was a small issue where the ball got dropped, but the way Benny handled it was nothing short of outstanding. He absolutely went above and beyond to make everything right, and that level of ownership and care is rare these days. I’ve been bringing my vehicles to Patterson for many years, and experiences like this are exactly why I’ll continue to do so. Mistakes can happen anywhere, but how they’re handled is what really matters, and Benny knocked it out of the park. If you’re looking for a service department that truly stands behind their customers, this is it.

I had a check engine light come on Tuesday morning the week of Thanksgiving. The code thrown made it pretty unwise to continue driving. I was obviously upset knowing it was a holiday week and I was just showing up unannounced. Ashton was very upfront and honest with me about them being backed up. I had no choice but to leave the truck and run over to Enterprise for a rental car. To my surprise, Ashton called Wednesday (day before Thanksgiving) to tell me the truck was ready for pickup. Fuel injector replaced AND went ahead and serviced the 3 recalls I had on the truck! Not only did they get me back in my vehicle, they also RETURNED THE RENTAL CAR FOR ME SO I WOULD NOT BE CHARGED AN ADDITIONAL DAY! This is the type of customer service consumers expect and Patterson’s definitely just earned our future business. Huge shoutout again to Ashton and the rest of the team for a no BS experience!

I had a very disappointing experience with this one particular sales rep. While I understand that my credit may not be perfect, I expected professionalism and clear communication. Instead of explaining that he couldn’t assist me, he blocked me and claimed he didn’t know how to work his phone. That response felt dismissive and unprofessional. I’ve had to speak with secretary multiple times due to his lack of availability. I would have appreciated honesty and respectful communication from the start.

I am very disappointed in the quality of work I received at Patterson service center in Tyler, Tx. I took my truck in for an EGR replacement. After spending $1500, I received my truck back with loose hose clamps and a bunch of safety clips not clipped down. There was also a smell of coolant that lingered around the truck. On top of that, the level in the restore slowly started to go down over the few days I had it back. Meantime, while sitting idling, it would spike to a temperature of 225, and going down the road it would spike 230. I was told those were normal operating temps for the truck (they are not unless it’s towing). I took it back and they said nothing was wrong. They just added coolant and sent me on my way. The very next morning I started it back up and it started puking coolant. It turns out the EGR hoses were leaking. That was another $850. After getting the truck back for the 3rd time, I was told the Shop Forman would look over everything personally. Lo and behold, all the same clamps were loose and safety clips weren’t clipped in. So after spending $2500, I had to Triple check a “Certified Technicians” work. The lack of competence that exists here is astounding. I can’t imagine how manny vehicles are just driving around with loose ends not buttoned up. I had a better experience and customer service when I had replace my entire engine in the our middle of my honeymoon 900 miles from home. That situation was a disruption to the celebration of my marriage, whereas this experience was a disruption to my patience, my sanity, and my trust in this facility. I will happily travel hours out of my way to insure I receive decent and reliable service.

Do not buy a vehicle from Patterson juice they sold me a 2015 GMC Arcadia well kept no dents. Very nice but I bought it in July. I’ve have been having trouble with it since October I’ve called him. No answer left messages. No return call November. I also called no answer Called again in December 1 week of December. The gentleman says OK will call you. We’re gonna call so whenever I get off work, I go over there and then Transmission is going out on it. There’s a clicking inside the motor. I’m at a drive-through my doors my locks, cheap locking unlocking locking unlocking they don’t wanna give me a loaner. I have to pay out-of-pocket for a rental. They said that they would let me know or diagnose it within 48 hours. I sent him a text. She said we said 72 hours between 48 to 72 it’s past 48 hours it’s past 72 hours and I still have not heard anything so do not buy a vehicle from him whenever I was there talking to the young lady about dropping off my car. There was another gentleman that he had just bought his car Thursday and it was already let’s see three days and something was leaking out of from under the car so no, don’t go there to buy a car

I recently visited Patterson Hyundai for an oil change and vehicle inspection, and my experience left me with serious concerns about both the quality of service and professionalism of staff. When my vehicle was returned to me, the oil change sticker on my windshield was the old sticker from Walmart, not one from the service I had just paid for. I immediately questioned whether the oil change had actually been performed. I was told it had been done and that the sticker was simply forgotten. After that, I was given a replacement sticker — however, it listed mileage lower than what was currently on my vehicle, which made it impossible to be accurate. When I pointed this out, staff went back a second time and returned with yet another sticker that was claimed to be the correct one. By this point, my confidence that the oil change had actually been completed properly was already shaken. During this time, I was on the phone with my daughter. I had briefly set my phone on the counter while stepping out to speak with a manager and then returned to retrieve it. After I left, my daughter informed me that she overheard one of the young women working in the service area using excessive profanity while discussing my vehicle, including statements suggesting that starting a car multiple times would not result in clean oil and referencing not fully cleaning the system. This language was extremely inappropriate, unprofessional, and disrespectful — especially in a customer-facing environment. Between the incorrect documentation, the confusion around mileage, and the unprofessional comments made by staff, makes me question the quality of service. This experience fell far short of the standards I expect from a Hyundai dealership and service department. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and addresses both service accuracy and customer service professionalism, as no customer should leave feeling uncertain about the work performed on their vehicle or disrespected by staff behavior.

I would like to say that my experience at Patterson Dodge in Tyler was the best dealership experience I’ve ever had for my Ram 1500. Miss Laura was the nicest and most knowledgeable service agent to date. Unlike Toliver Dodge in Mineola, where they will break your vehicle while supposedly servicing it and then over charge you for repairs. Yeah, they charge me $900 for a battery that was perfectly fine when I drove it in for an unrelated recall on the truck’s bed door. I will take my vehicle to Patterson Dodge for all my needs from now on.

After nearly 2 months of shopping dealerships just looking for one that would listen to what i wanted and not tell me how the car industry works! I came across Patterson Hyundai in Tyler, TX. I wanted to do our entire deal by phone /online, and then just come in and sign our papers drop off our trade and drive off in our new car! Elija Hall responded to my inquiry and just said yas ma'am we can do that, his floor manager Josh Van Deman worked some cool magic and got the pmt $1.50 below my desired payment and in 24 hours this gorgeous Hyundai calligraphy is in my driveway! Chris in finance was amazing as well! The entire place was laid back and genuinely happy we came in! easiest car deal we have ever done! We were in and out in 2 hours and 39 minutes and got exactly what we asked for! Highly recommend Patterson Hyundai Tyler Texas! Ask for Elija, he was humble, kind and accommodating.

I got my 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Altitude in 2024 from Patterson Kilgore and had wonderful experience there.. Got the lifetime powertrain warranty. I always wondered if I could really depend on this warranty when I really needed it.. Well, most recently I started getting the common ticking/lifter/rocker issue on the 3.6 motors (for my gen Jeep, they may have resolved the common issue now.) Decided to take the Jeep to Patterson Jeep Tyler for service in hopes the warranty would help cover the work. I always get my oil changed at the same Valvoline in whitehouse so I had my service history printed out. Right at 106k miles. I just want to give a HUGE shoutout to the service department, particularly my service advisor Cole, and the tech that performed the work, Donald Nolan. Not only were they were able to get the work approved under the warranty, they found my water pump was going bad and motor mounts needed replaced.. they got this covered under the warranty as well! I had them perform more maintenance items like spark plug and belt since they were in the motor (which I paid for that part as basic maintenance items). Cole kept me informed throughout the whole process, worked with me on price with Jeep service coupons.. and I now have my Jeep back.. it’s running flawlessly. Donald did amazing work to my Jeep. I’m extremely satisfied with how I have been treated since I bought this Jeep at Patterson and I will most definitely be a returning customer. I didn’t realize working with a dealership on my vehicle could be such a great experience. Just all around extremely satisfied. Thanks guys!!!!

I had a great customer experience at Patterson Tyler CDJR dealership recently. Ashton provided excellent customer service during my visit. He promptly met me upon my arrival and kept me advised of the status of the service maintenance work on my 2024 RAM 1500 Laramie pickup truck. He showed me the cabin and engine compartment air filters and asked my opinion on replacement. I arrived and left the dealership within 2 hours. Overall, I would highly recommend Patterson Tyler CDJR dealership.

This company is very misleading and extremely unprofessional. I filled out a pre-approval for this location and my information was sent to the Patterson Pre-owned center to a sales man. We spoke mostly through text and he got me approved for a vehicle he hadn't even showed me despite me adding the information for a completely different vehicle in my credit application. When we spoke, he advised he didn't have any vehicles in my price range to show me but he would once we drove there. The Patterson website shows several so we were off to a rocky start. When we got there we were talked into a 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee they had just got in. We were assured by the salesman and the manger the car had been throughly checked it just needed to be detailed. The detail was to be completed by the following Wednesday and the vehicle ready for pick up. We called on wensday to confirm the car was ready to be told they needed more time and it would be available Friday. That same day, we received an invoice by mistake stating the dash had to be put back on. When we asked about that we were given no information. On Friday we were told they had found a hole in a tire and needed to order tires. They allowed us to borrow a loaner. We finally got the Jeep on the following Wednesday only for the back windows to not roll down, the center console to be full of the previous owners junk and the jeep to throw a code. When we called back to speak with the manager at that location we were told they didn't have to speak with us and we could take it up with service. We live 1.5 hours away and have to bring it back and schedule with service. This is ridiculous and the level of attitude we have received from the manager is inexcusable. *****UPDATE***** We have since been contacted by Benny, the service manager. He was kind and apologized. He has assured us this would be taken care of. We are bringing the car back immediately to be repaired. I hope we are able to resolve this quickly as we do love the vehicle. I will update once the jeep is repaired and this matter resolved.

A bunch of untrustworthy, incompetent shady people. I waited over three weeks for my truck to go through their tech inspection. During the wait, I had to call them to get any sort of update or a timeframe. Which I was quite literally blown off or told it would be done “tomorrow” which was a lie always. I was told lies from day one. After being told x, y, and z were being done I finally received the truck after over three weeks. All to get a filthy truck, interior smells like smoke, alignment is off, steering wheel leather and trim is peeling badly, the driver side mirrors power feature does not work, sway bar end links are shot and raddles over any bump causing sloppy driving, cigarette burn on driver seat with white paint splattered, door panel wood trim and door panel plastics are faded. They even turned off brake sensors instead of fixing them! Very disappointed with the amount of shady business going on here. Be very cautious wasting time and money here.
